- Michael (8/5): We had a very pleasant experience at this beautiful location. - The property was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Nothing
- Alan (9/5): - Space. Friendly. Quiet
- Natalie (10/5): Suitable for the event I went to sandy hollow for - Location was convenient for family event and it’s nice to have view of hills around Just mattress was too squishy
- Narelle (8/5): Lovely spot , lots of work done around the park since our last visit. - Love the little cottages. Kitchen was great love that there is a full-size fridge, beds and bedding were good. Nice furniture updates. No BBQ on deck anymore. Bathroom around toilet could do with a deep clean or refit. No small saucepan and the lighter for the stove was empty. Lounge was not as comfy as I would like but all small things that did not affect our stay.

- Anthony (4/5): Disappointed booking.com offered the accom - Dissatisfied with the first cabin assigned to us, dank, grubby and old mouldy bathroom.. when asked to change room was moved to an old construction building converted to accom... not fit for five night stay...no screens on front door...bedroom screens full of holes...no air con or fans in bedroom, one 10×1 2 inch mirror in the mouldy old bathroom with 1power point on floor next to leaky toilet to plug in my toothbrush. Smallest tv I have ever had in accom which was placed on the wall touching the ceiling...absolute shambles....feel let down by booking .com...pictures shown and description in the add was false....nothing I liked The whole stay
- Dianne (10/5): Very happy with our stay and the food at the hotel was amazing. The community was very friendly - Sandy Hollow was the most inviting community. We had an amazing stay. Thank you
- Kathleen & Tim (10/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): Short but sweet!!! - Travelling with dogs I found them to be very pet friendly! NA
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Very clean, lots of room
- WAYNE (5/5): Disappointed with the condition of our cabin. - Location was great! Property was not as per the pictures supplied when i booked! The cabin we were allocated was old and dated not clean and the facilities were not up to standard. We were not able to connect to Their WIFI for some unknown password reason.
- David (7/5): Great value for money in a convenient location for touring in the Hunter Valley. - The park is an excellent base for touring in the area. The cabin we stayed in was in reasonable condition, nothing fancy but it met my needs. The layout is good, with a central barbecue, big enough for two or three couples to use at one time. All guests would be able to reach fairly easily. there is a pool at the front of the park, but we didn't use it. I understand the park has fairly new owners, and they are making improvements as and when they can. There is potential to upgrade some cosmetic things, like the floor coverings and getting all matching crockery & cutlery, but these don't affect the stay itself. These things are minor and don't affect the quality of the stay.
- Robyn (7/5): - Location Shower recess was not clean, quite disgusting really, and coffee cups were stained.
We do appreciate these cabins are probably more used for itinerate workers, but a clean shower should be a priority.
- Michael (4/5): Wouldn’t go again - Quiet location Dated, in poor repair, bathroom in particular very run down and dirty
- Dave (9/5): Unexpectedly great - Comfortable and clean
- Megan (9/5): A great stopover and time to relax - Quiet clean and central
- Helen (10/5): Great Place!!! - Beautiful setting!! Quiet and peaceful. Beautifully set up cabin with all comforts. Clean and modern with cook top for easy catering. Great stay.
- Caitlyn (3/5): Overpriced and disappointing—our dirty unit, unpleasant pool, and chlorine-heavy shower made us leav - Friendly staff and we had a super king bed that was comfortable. Our two bedroom unit, especially the bathroom was dirty, pool area was uninviting and the pool itself had a film of dirt on the bottom. Shower water smelt like chlorine and stung my eyes when showering. We paid for 3 nights but actually left after 2.

- Michael (10/5): One of the best caravan parks in Australia. - Best motel accommodation ever. You can self cater. Plenty of camp sites and powered sites. Great bush walking tracks. One of the the best country pubs in Australia across the road. Good locals too. Highly recommend.
- Drew (10/5): -
- Danny (7/5): It was good - Shower/ bed Not much to choose on the tele
- Susan (7/5): -
- Thanh Tam (7/5): - We only stayed for one night so it was manageable. The cabin has enough things for a short stay with a gas kitchen and private bathroom. The staff was friendly. The cabin has lots of spider webs behind the blind
. There seemed to be water leak on the ceiling in the past and therefore there was mold. The bathroom has something like ant eggs on the floor.
- Suzy (10/5): Peaceful, quiet, cozy, clean - It was beautiful, peaceful, quiet, very clean, comfortable beds. Children loved. It would definitely come again.
- Peter (7/5): - It was clean. The staff were friendly. Bathroom very small.
- Lyndall (9/5): Beautiful location and lots of space in the cabin. - Beautiful location and views from our cabin. The staff were friendly and the kids loved the pool. Nil
- Pamella (8/5): It was only an overnight stay . Would stay longer another stay. Would use the pool next stay. - The kangaroos that came close to our cabin. The size of the cabin
- Yong Chul (10/5): -
- Stair (10/5): - Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Very peaceful place. The staff were lovely. . Would definitely stay there again. No complaints at all.
- Faye (10/5): -
- Molly (8/5): Lovely countryside stopover - To enjoy the cacophany of birdsong predawn this is a wonderful stopover.
If you prefer to sleep in bring your earplugs.
Beautiful part of the country.
Close to great food in Denman
- Jennifer (9/5): - Great place to stay amazing value for money. Clean and tidy very peaceful. Enjoyed our stay wish we booked for longer then just the one night. Definitely will book again next time visiting our family up there. Thank you again for your hospitality

- Tara (7/5): Would stay again - Good for one night. Shower needs a good scrub
- Robyn (8/5): -
- Eleanor (7/5): Good for overnight, but could be better with inexpensive improvements! - Set back from the busy Golden Highway, this proved a good place to stop overnight. The kitchen was basic but had a bigger fridge than usual, with a decent freezer. We were able to cook simple meals. The Pub is a short walk away and the staff and locals were friendly. Room 6: The toaster is tiny. The cookware is ‘well used’ and should be replaced. The tap water is not very drinkable due to the taste - must be bore water! Some filtered drinking water for guests would have been appreciated. The torn dining chair was not ok! The gas lighter for the stove is ridiculously hard to use and should be replaced.
- Helen (8/5): -
- Mark (10/5): we enjoyed our stay - everything
- Paul (5/5): Average... VERY average - The pub across the street was nice. Small tv, small bed, noise from gravel driveways on either side of the cabin. Black mould in the air conditioner. Signs that you must wash all the dishes etc or get charged an extra $30
- Brad (7/5): Staff were helpful. - Challenging mountain bush walk on site. Clean pool. Our cabin was tired but clean. $150 a night seemed a bit much for a cabin of this vintage.
- David (8/5): -
- Viccy (9/5): What was needed for the final leg of our journey - Peace and quite Nothing
- Kelvin (7/5): -
- Nhut Phuong (9/5): -
- renee (10/5): -
- Debbie Creasey (10/5): - Everything was perfect.
- Emily (10/5): -
- Edmund (8/5): Lovely stay - Beautiful location - our family cabin was very well-equipped and absolutely huge. The owner was lovely on the phone and left us the keys as we arrived after reception closed. We had plenty of warm bedding and the heating was great (on a 0 degree night!).
The swimming pool would be lovely in the warmer months. Just be aware that the pub over the road doesn't have cheap pub meals - but more restaurant style food/prices. No other food options in the area and if they're busy - you may have a long wait for food - but it was good food.
- Jorge (9/5): -
- Lita (4/5): Unfortunately a little disappointed with the price vs the quality of the facilities. - Basic necessities were met ie beds, an extra blanket, warm shower, lounge, aircon and tv. Convenience in getting the key. First night was cold, the aircon on 30 degrees, didn't seem to do the job - took the next day to warm up. Under the lounge, there was a layer of dirt and debris. The bathroom cabinet had tiles coming off it and the shower was stained.
- Chris (5/5): Average. - The showers throughout the property need to be cleaned properly to remove mold and soap scum.
- Dianne (7/5): Good - Accommodation was basic but comfortable and reasonably clean.
- Gg (8/5): Very good -
- Melanie (10/5): Lovely stay. - I only stayed one night as I was on a road trip, but this place was lovely. Clean, comfortable, and staff were friendly. Perfect stop over to rest on my long drive.
- Annette (9/5): Superb -
- Ginny (5/5): Passable - Friendly staff. The bed was uncomfortable. Air conditioning was so loud that we couldn't run it overnight, which meant we froze, even in bed.
- Sally (7/5): Good -
- Cowan (10/5): Very comfy stay on our way through -
- Kay (9/5): Superb - Peace and quiet All was fine
- Leonne (10/5): Relaxing overnight stay, cabin was very comfortable and clean. - Clean comfortable cabin
- Diego (10/5): Beautiful - Good place, clean, comfortable. Amazing staff All good
- Phillips (7/5): Good -
- Rose (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (9/5): a very good overnight stay - great nights sleep cleanliness
ease of parkin
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Colleen (9/5): Superb -
- Cedric (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (5/5): Fair - Gorgeous location. Fantastic facilities at the park. Small & quaint. Lovely staff
Cabin had a great sized patio
Camp sites brilliant, next visit we will be camping Cabins rather run down. Kettle in room didn’t work, pots & pans severely scratched/damaged so I avoided using as mostly teflon.
- Deborah (5/5): Rain Go away our lovely Stay was Cut Short - Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to the weather but it was doggy friendly and the lady in reception left our key out as we were not getting there until later .. the hut was comfortable well equipped and older style but fine with our 2 dogs. The rain ( no fault of the host) but unpacking and packing the car was difficult and it was dark sensor lights would have been to a great advantage ..
- Danielle (9/5): Superb -
- Danielle (9/5): Superb -
- Dobson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melanie (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (8/5): Very good - good value for money, roomy cabin n quite location bed was a bit hard but no big deal
- Monica (7/5): Good - Comfortable and convenient. Good late check in instructions Almost all taps drip unfortunately disturbing sleep. There was a dog barking for much of the night which was also frustrating (however I understand you can't control someone else's dog). The kettle either needs replacing or major clean - it's full of white stuff. I would have done it myself but didn't have a scrubbing brush. The sliding screen door comes off its runner very easily, so maybe a heads up for the guest would be good until it is repaired. Myself and the children almost tripped down the steps in the dark. Maybe leave a light on when expecting a guest or paint of the step edge
- Tanveer (7/5): Good -
- Cheezy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - I didn’t like the shower head the water comes out stinging very fine .
- Eelco (9/5): A great stay-over for a few nights - Beautiful place. Comfortable. N/a
- Playford (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): Great stay - Great spot had to go to work
- Shirley (7/5): We only stayed one night and it suited our needs - The quiet , beautiful, natural bush location with a pub for meals across the road
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (8/5): Great place to stay, hosts were so gracious, amazing views, and we saw an echidna - It was clean, spacious, and quiet. Great place to walk our puppy, lots of trees, grass and little walking tracks The sliding door was really hard to open and close . The runners need cleaning or fixing.
This is only a trivial thing, normally I wouldn’t mention . It definitely didn’t effect or stay
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was so clean and in great working order, the products supplied were beautiful, the cabin had everything you needed and was SO roomy and airy I can't wait to come back and I've told so many friends and family about this place.
The pool is amazing too it's a unique style which I enjoyed The only things I didn't like which neither can be helped were very noises neighbours next door and the mosquito's
- Millie (7/5): Good -
- Diana (8/5): Very good - Very nice welcome at the reception. A great and peaceful location to relax.
It has everything you need after a long warm day on the road.
Bed slept perfect and the shower was one of the best so far!
