Guest Reviews
- Hanna (10/5): I loved the bed - The Bed 💖! It was perfect for my heavy body. Some memory-foam type material that supported just right.
The building is behind another building that blocks the noice from the street. And light-blinding curtains. These three things meant I slept so well, which to me is the most important thing in accomodation.
The connections: busses leave every 4-10 minutes even on sundays so you did not have to plan which bus to catch, you just left when you were ready. And coming back from musicals late at night I felt very safe as the bus stop is literally across the street.
Own fridge in the room, a small table to eat breakfest, shower that worked well, clean room and sheets. I appreciated that the sheets did not have a fracrance. The room did not smell like anything.
The room was in the basement but there is a space dug out outside and a balcony door - so also a fire exit. The bathroom was humid and paint peeling from the ceiling - but I think this is very common in UK. Maybe provide a window wiper to vipe off water from the shower for it to dry faster.

- JONATHAN (10/5): Perfect place to stay for a few days or weeks - Great location, fantastic facilities Nothing
- Ferenc (8/5): -
- Karolína (9/5): - Cosy room in a quiet location with good connection to the centre. Clean and comfortable, everything we needed for our stay in London. Getting into the room was a challenge. On the first day we spent 20 minutes trying to unlock the door (room "Penelope"). The key was hard to turn. We reported the issue but there was no answer. Please please fix the lock, it was very unpleasant to struggle every time we wanted to enter the room.
- Enya (8/5): - We had everything we needed, the room was small but nice and we were only there to sleep anyway. It was useful that we had a fridge, some cutlery and didn't need to bring towels. All important information was communicated and everything worked without issues with the lockbox. All in all, I would recommend it

- Godfried (10/5): - Clean and good location
- Emilia (6/5): Clean, thoughtful but hard to sleep and have peace - There was everything that u need for a stay- shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, tea, coffee, hair dryer, iron, microwave, wifi. The apartment was clean and there was a big tv with wifi so you could watch netflix or youtube. It’s a good value of money, it’s not too far from center- 30 min by bike or 45 min by bus. The place is an apartment divided into separate rooms in the hallway, each with a loud lock and key box. The walls are thin, so you can hear a lot from the neighboring rooms. Guests arrive in the night, making big noise and struggling with the locks. Also other rooms in the hallway probably don’t have bathrooms and keep making big noise in the night slamming these doors.
You have to be ready, because some guests have problem with identifying which room they booked (it’s marked as name not a number)-one night, someone confused our room and tried to open our key box. After failing, they kept pulling on our door handle several times trying to get in.
In the checking out morning, before 11am, probably the cleaner was also pulling on our handle to get in without knocking first, which was really uncomfortable.

- Matthew (5/5): Not the best place to get a good nights sleep. - It was clean and the host were helpful with allowing me to leave my bag there before checkin. No chance of a decent nights sleep. This is an apartment that's been broken up into separate rooms and each room has a lock box for the key and each door has a really loud and difficult to manipulate lock. The walls are paper thin so you hear people talking through the walls and even though they advertise quite hours from 10pm onwards, they still have guests checking in a 1-2 am fumbling around with lock boxes and locks and talking and turning lights on. It's more inline with a hostel experience in terms of comfort, definitely not a hotel or apartment standards. The nearest shops are a bus ride away , or a long walk. It's not very handy for getting around. Then after an average/terrible nights sleep the cleaners/hosts will be there in the morning, headphones in whilst chatting to their friends and I even heard some words I don't think I needed to hear. Pretty sure a lot of the reviews on this property have been written by friends as they certainly do not align with the reality of the experience.
- Erika Francisca (9/5): -
- Silvie (9/5): - Pěkné, čisté ubytování v blízkosti autobusu do centra. Pokoj je ve sdíleném ubytování. Jednu noc jsme měli trochu hlučnější sousedy, jinak vše super.
- Stevie (10/5): A great convenient place to stay for o2 Academy. - The check-in instructions were clear. The main parking spaces were taken, and the hosts were very quick to respond letting us know we can park near the gate. It was a really hot weekend and everywhere was super stuffy, but with their blackout curtains and wall-mounted fan pointing at the bed, we had no issues with being uncomfortable! It was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. We got an Uber to o2 Academy which was under £10, and walked back which was less than half hour (lots of traffic on the way their though, so do allow yourself a little more time than you think you need!).
- Birch (10/5): - The host was very welcoming, the room was spot on,clean and all you could need for a night, great location with public transport at your door, great value for money, cant think of anything that you could of done better.
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, very easy to access instructions very clear. Great facilities for such a low price. It’s a little far from public transport but perfect if you are driving as free parking! :)
- Bogdan (8/5): Great option for London stay. - Good location and value. A little difficult to access. Hot and humid although fan worked well.
- Tymon (9/5): Superb - I really liked the accesibillity and the rate of price to accomodation. The owners were very helpfull and nice. The photos are literally showing the real room. Thin walls.
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptionally clean ,great location Nothing
- Z-jay (9/5): Cosy stay near the heart of the city - The location was close enough to the city, The transportation was good. It was a bit noisy, but that's London.
- Robin (9/5): Superb value accommodation for the Brixton area. - This room offers superb accommodation at a very reasonable price for London. We stayed here as we were going to a concert at the Brixton 02 Arena. It was a 25-30 minute walk to the venue, which could alternatively have been done by bus or taxi. For a one night stay it gave us all we needed. A good sized room, excellent toilet and bathing facilities and a fridge, microwave and hot drink making equipment. It was extremely clean, and because of the secure entry system we felt very safe. Would definitely stay again for an event in the Brixton area. It is situated on a long residential road, which must be the only road in the capital without any form of shop on it. So if you think you'll need any provisions, buy them before you arrive! There was
only one pod of coffee provided for the coffee machine, which was a major disappointment for the two of us who need their coffee in the morning!
- Anaie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was very nice especially the wifi password
- Olivia (10/5): Perfect for a short stay for the concert we came for, comfortable bed and clean bathroom! - Close to bus stops and not too far to walk to the tube stations! The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for the few nights we stayed. Also the cute cats downstairs made the stay even better :) Everything was great, the only issue was the lock on the door was a bit difficult to unlock/lock
- Samantha (8/5): Very good -
- Selvi (9/5): Cozy and clean stay - Even if the space available was not much, the room was well structured and cleaned, with a big bed and a table to have breakfast on and tea was offered by the host. The shower was also big and the bathroom really modern. It is also located in a quite residencial zone. The doors were difficult to open and close due to some damages and the location was a little bit far from the center and the metro station but bearable.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Abass (7/5): Good -
- Ewa (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great with free parking. Very cosy room with everything you need for short stay. Everything was great.
- Francesca (10/5): Recommended! - Everything was PERFECT except one single thing: the noise from other rooms and from the corridor was unbearable, especially during the night. Also, there were two big body towels and one medium-size face towel: I would suggest that you put at least one other face towel, as the two people may not want to share the only one.
Other than that, as I already said, everything was great: we didn't have many problems with the self check-in, self check-out at any time was great; the room was very clean and full of useful stuff (microwave, dishes, cups, body and hair soap, hair dryer, even UK adaptors!); the position is fantastic as it is in the second zone, with one bus stop in front of the building (also night bus stops there) and another one 3 minutes away.
I highly recommend it! No soundproof doors and walls.
- Konradas (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful owners, quickly responded to all (even small) notices regarding the apartment.
- Amal (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vin (5/5): Really bad / Rude customer service - The property was good. - The property was really good. A little appartment good for a short stay. Clean and had all amenties. A bit far from Tube stations. Neighbours were noisy till late in the night. The details about the location and pick up of keys was not clear. When called for help the person on the phone was rude. She started shouting at me saying i should read the instructions before i call her for help. Later she made me walk all way down to the ground floor and asked me to read the instructions i had, i told her i did read the instruction she insisted i read again. Adn then made me walk back again to the second floor where i was already standing. She could have easily told me what to do at the first instance instead of shouting at me. Not the type of person you want to be dealing with after a busy day at work. The instruction for the keys only gives code for the different doors. Instruction of which door has the lock box is not clearly explained. You have to walk up to the second floor to the actual appartment door with the keybox (In the instruction this is explained as main door but the main door was in the ground floor wide open with a fire extinguisher). Inside the appartment door are the little rooms with attached bathrooms with different room names. Hopefully this will help for anyone booking next.
- André (10/5): Lovely stay! - Great value for money, amazing staff. They were super helpful - even when I thought I lost my key ;). They were always very responsive throughout the process and it was an overall great stay.
- Anne (9/5): Excellent value and easy location - Everything pleasant
The compact features.
Good roomy refrigerator
Abundant hot water
Quiet location
The cleanliness
The furnishings
Ability to open window
The view
Immediate attention to my queries
Close to shopping, train and bus
Coffee machine!!
Great quality towels
Good lighting day and night options
Modern
Good storage The old fashioned key to get into the room! 😜
The microfiber protector sheet on the bed. Maybe cotton sheets would assist breathability
- Ting (10/5): Exceptional - The room isn't very large, but it has everything you need and is very convenient. The host is really nice and does everything possible to help you. The soundproofing of the door is average, but the house is mostly quiet most of the time
- Chris (9/5): Great price for what we wanted. - Quiet residential street. Excellent comms/service. Clean room, comfy bed. Good price. On site parking. Difficulty reading the tiny numbers on the key holder box, age not helping here mind.
- Nabiha (2/5): Not worth the money - Nothing Location and value and difficult to access
