Guest Reviews
- Monik (5/5): -
- Nelly (8/5): Very good -
- Marcos (7/5): Good -
- Oladapo (1/5): Bad - I am yet to get our refund of the security deposit that was forcefully collected before we gained entrance into the property. Nothing was damaged, and a month after we still havent been refunded our 200 euros.
- Carlos (8/5): Very good - It was very well located. Very close to a Flea Market (Mercadillo) and very walkable Wifi non-existent and the host didn’t contact us to fix the issue. Other than that everything was good.
- Ammar (8/5): Very good -
- Mei (7/5): Good - The location was not bad.
There was a supermarket and some small shops for food and for daily life.
The staff was considerate and nice to help me to get the key, thanks again. As I stayed quite long in the flat, living on ground floor was too noisy for sleeping. Also two windows ( one in living room and in kitchen side ) were without blind or thick curtain, it was too bright for me to sleep.
- Khan (7/5): Good - Close to city centre, bus stop and metro Very cramped and staff are hard to get ahold of via the app or email you have to call
- Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bo (1/5): Bad - nothing satisfied the service is really bad, even I ask something help, they don't provide good solution. Really disappointed!!!
- Luis (9/5): Superb - comfortable cozy and polishly clean the customer service, inconsiderate!
- Jacopo (5/5): Had problems with check in, they gave us bad instructions - House just renovated with 2 bathrooms and air conditioned in every room. Cute decor Presence of rubble in the atrium, found one toilet seat broken, disgusting fried smell coming from outside. House it's in not so well-looking suburb
- Nikki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mladen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (9/5): Great stay and only small minor improvements suggested. The apartment was comfortable. - Homely feel, great layout and comfortable Pillows on the bed were too big and uncomfortable.
The shower needed sealing as water escaped, which needed constant mopping to avoid causing slips or falls and damage to the property.
Some complementary teas or coffee would have also been a nice touch.
WiFi would have been a welcome addition.
The €200 deposit seemed excessive.
- Dwight (8/5): Great location! - Very clean and close to metro station. Quiet even being on street level. There needs to be shades on window that is close to kitchen to offer more privacy if using fold out bed. Also room bright with street lights.
- Manal (10/5): Exceptional - 1.Well equipped appartement "dishwasher, laundry machine..." ,
2.Nearby metro station it takes 20 minutes to be in the downtown
3.Close to grocery stores , restaurants and fast food Vehicles noise at the midnight
- Kaleb (1/5): Bad - Location You have to buy your own toilet paper because they only leave you with two, they also leave no cleaning supplies for their amenities they advertise. The pillows were paper thin and very uncomfortable. Everything about the apartment is cheap and not worth the money aside from the location.
- Sultana (10/5): Great place for a short stay. - Great location, close to the subway, but the street is very quiet, residential area.
The apartment is very modern and nicely equipped.
Spacious bathroom with new towel dryer.
The kitchen has everything for a little bit of cooking during a short stay in Madrid.
The bedroom opens to the internal yard - it was relatively quiet. The shower is leaking water on the bathroom floor.
Toilet sit needs to be repaired or changed - your guests are complaining about it.
TV was not working.
There was no WiFi.
- Krzysztof (8/5): Very good - A1 apartment is well-equipped, it was clean and in good location. A keys box to another apartment 4? close to the entrance door may cause noise during the exchange of guests.
- Leo (8/5): Very short overnight stay. Slept and left. -
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caitlin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Henrique (6/5): Disappointed in Customer Service - The apartment was newly renovated. It had some nice features such as the towel warmer. The towel warmer helped to dry towels as well as some lighter laundry. (There was no other place to hang clothes to dry).
The kitchen was equipped with some basic items. It has a Nespresso coffee maker. Note that it takes Vertuo pods, which are only available at a Nespresso store.
It was close to metro stations and grocery stores. It was relatively quiet. Our biggest issue was with the property managers. We sent 2 requests upon arrival. After 7 days, they have yet to respond. The minor detail of lacking certain amenities can be forgiven. But, not responding to customer questions is not good for business. Hence the rating for staff.
- Lasha (10/5): Madrid I’m coming back! - Apartment is cozy, clean and quiet. Metro is near and it’s comfortable (it takes around 40minutes to reach city center but for me it was ok). None
- Valentina (7/5): Nice and clean studio apartment near Plaza Castilla and close to a metro station, needs a bit of improvement in some det - The apartment is cute, comfortable and clean. It had almost everything you would need for a comfy stay. It is very close to a metro station, supermarket and pharmacy, which is very convenient. It was missing some essentials (pots and pans suitable for an induction stove, cleaning supplies, the hanging rack for laundry is very small and wasn’t useful), all details that can be easily fixed. For some reason, there were many mosquitoes in the flat, and communication with the host wasn’t always easy.
- Anna (5/5): Passable - The design is nice, there is a kitchen. There was a heating and extra blanket. Admins, if you read this, please, you really have to move key boxes to somewhere else.
We stayed 3 nights in the apartment and 3 times out if three we were disturbed at night.
The entrance into the apartment is located right in the street, the entrance door is made of glass, with a sheer curtain inside. The key boxes are all in one place on the porch. So every night new guests came to our porch, talking loudly, couldn’t find their keys or their passcode didn’t work, they knocked to the glass door, and rang the door bell!! Seriously that happened at 11pm, at 3am - in the middle of the night.
I felt unsafe. They knocked into the glass door, bang the key boxes. They couldn’t find their door and spend hours on our porch and disturbed us. That is an awful management with key boxes.
Also there is a dishwasher but no dishwasher tablets.
There is no kettle :(
And lastly there is a cool coffee machine but the coffee capsules provided for it were not compatible with it. You need capsules vertuo, which are round, not the original, please pay attention.
- Jadwiga (6/5): Modern apartment but poor service from the host company - The apartment is in a very residential area of Madrid so it felt very safe and it was very quiet. However, it has very good links to the city centre via the metro and the tickets are very cheap. There are also a few supermarkets and shops within walking distance. The keys were very easy to collect on arrival. The apartment has a modern finish and seems newly decorated. It is comfortable and homely. The kitchen is well equipped with many pots and pans, cutlery, plates, glasses etc. The air conditioner units also work as heaters so it was lovely and warm and we could easily control the temperature. There is complete lack of communication with the hosts/company. On arrival, we discovered one of the locks on the front door to be broken. We reported this immediately via Booking.com messaging and we also sent a message to the number provided. The toilet seat was also broken as there was one screw missing and it was sliding all over the place (we were surprised that this was not picked up by the cleaning company). However, the hosts never responded to our message. We feel that this is really unacceptable, especially since a broken lock can compromise the safety of the apartment. Moreover, it seems that the company has a complete mess with the bookings since we received our check-out instructions the day after we left the apartment. Additionally, there were many other little things that could be easily improved to provide a better service. For example, there is a dishwasher but only one tablet was provided as well as one tiny sachet of dish washing liquid which is ridiculous as we were staying for 5 days but also it is not something we expect to buy as how can we transport a big bottle of washing up liquid home. There was also no tea towel or paper towel provided and since we cooked a lot, it was difficult to clean up properly. We were disappointed to find that the front door and window in the living room were only covered by flimsy blinds that didn't close properly rather than the shutters that are very common in Spanish homes. This meant that the light from the street lamp post flooded the living room so if someone were to sleep on the sofa, we imagine it would be very difficult and also it doesn't feel very private with people walking past on the street. Additionally, regarding lack of privacy there is no door separating the bedroom from the living room. There is also very poor wifi in the bedroom and we had to use our data.
- Abhie (5/5): it was ok - Very hard took us an hour to get the key because the host was not updated that the lock key was changed. So we was using the wrong code the whole time. Took soo long for them to figure it out. they had to contact other people to just get the right code. i think they lack communication that time
- Muhammad (8/5): Worth the price option for cheap accomodation - Good facilities (cooking equipment, toileteries). Very close to metro station and there is a big supermarket nearby. Kettle would be nice instead of cooking water in a pan. There is no blanket although the air conditioner can be used as heater.
- Romina (1/5): We were scammed as property is not ready for occupancy, nothing's working and up to now our complaints are not being -
- Lucy (9/5): Superb - Location was excellent, a little hard to find at first, perhaps some instructions about which is the closest metro stop and how far away (Plaza de Castilla, 10 minutes) would be a helpful addition to arrival details. The facilities were brilliant with a dishwasher and microwave in the kitchen, lovely lounge area and a very good shower. I would have liked for there to be a chopping board included in the kitchen cupboard but everything else was perfect. The power unfortunately tripped twice while I was there, it might be worth including some instructions about where the fuse box is and a warning that it is likely to trip. I also couldn't get the Nespresso machine to work, but since I wasn't expecting for one to be provided that is not really a downside!
