Highly recommend for it's close location to the airport but is a 20min walk to the town centre which we didn't mind after having fantastic meals here which helps with our digestion! Potable water dispenser and there was a water filter on the kitchen tap which was a bonus! Nothing!

• SANDRA (8/5): Good location, I would recommend it if you’re not scared of geckos. - It was big, clean, and easy to get to. Convenient store nearby. Due to the location, there were indoor geckos that made a lot of chirping sounds at night.

• Mirco (10/5): - The apartment is very spacious and perfect for several people. The beds are super comfortable, the living area is large and cozy, with a big TV and a Bluetooth stereo system. We especially loved the big, well-equipped kitchen — ideal for cooking together. The air conditioning in all rooms made the stay even more pleasant. Although the house is not directly in the town center, everything is easily reachable on foot — it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get to town, the beaches, or anywhere you need to go on the island. For us, this was no problem at all — actually quite nice, since the location is peaceful but still well connected. We stayed there with four people and had more than enough space. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back! A very minor thing that didn’t really affect our stay: the shower has an electric heater, which is quite common on the islands. To get properly hot water, you need to keep the water pressure low, which makes showering take a bit longer. But really, just a small detail.

• Mimi (10/5): Large 2 br/2ba house with a washer/dryer! - Great place to stay! Very spacious 2 br/2 ba house with a full well stocked kitchen. AC in each room. We cooked a lot of meals here. In a quiet neighborhood about 10-15 min walk from the main area (plenty of taxis drive by). And less than 15 min walk from the airport. Close to Loberia beach. Had a combo washer/dryer, which was really convenient. Good communications, received checkin info ahead of time. Super clean and comfortable. Nothing

• Amber (1/5): Not what we were expecting or advertised. - The property was not the property we booked and was not the address stated in the booking confirmation. When we arrived at the accommodation someone else was there who had only checked in that morning. We couldn’t get hold of the property manager, however the other party who was already set up in the house got in touch. We were then moved to a completely different property in town. No toilet paper, bugs in the apartment, noisy location and tired interior. Not worth the price we paid. We stayed in much nicer accommodation for a lot less in the Galapagos. We appreciated them finding alternative accommodation to rectify the double booking at the original accommodation. However, we choose the original accommodation due to the proximity to the airport.

• Song (8/5): Great local home for an authentic experience - Staying in this home gives you the true local experience. It is just like staying in an aunt and uncles house on the island. The location is in a local residential area and not in the center. You need to walk or find a taxi to get to the center. But staying in local area has its benefits like great local restaurant and cheaper groceries. A highlight for our 4 kids was the skatepark just across the street. We were there every night playing with local kids. There is lots of equipment in the kitchen to prepare meals and laundry machine was great. For our family of 2 adults and 4 kids, this was a great experience but it may not be for everyone. Bathrooms were a bit cramped with space. Too many decorations in the house so we don’t have a lot of space to put our things.

• Doeke (7/5): Large complete house but full with stuff, not darkened noisy room - Really spacious and complete house with fully equipped kitchen and everything you need 10min walk from centre Quiet neighbourhood, no cocks or dogs Smart lock which is perfect House is stashed with personal items and random decorations, even trofees. It is too busy and limits space where we can put our own things. Cleanliness could be better, we had to clean a lot ourselves. Bad curtains, the colors hurt your eyes, so thin it’s not is darkening at all. Front room VERY noisy from the road, thin walls and single glass. it feels like motors drive next to your ears. We couldn’t sleep well in the front room due to extreme light and extreme noise.
• Salvador (8/5): Very good - Booking a house after staying in hotel rooms for the previous part of our vacation was a nice change. It was nice to have no shared walls with neighbors. It was nice to have a bedroom separate from a living room which was separate from the kitchen and dining spaces. The water filtration system was a nice touch. It allowed us to not have to buy multiple plastic bottles of water during our stay. We really liked the fast internet (fast in comparison to the other 3 places we stayed in Ecuador) and the smart TV in the living room. The washing machine was also a bonus. We also appreciated how easy it was to get a hold of our hosts via Whatsapp. This is a two bedroom house but we were only a couple so we decided to sleep in the bedroom in the front of the house because it was the bigger room with the larger bathroom and it did not have a bunk bed. The beds were not comfortable for us. Much too firm for our taste, but if you like a fim bed, then you will not have a problem. The ac unit in the bedroom would also get quite loud at times during the cooling cycle. It would perhaps get loud for about 10 minutes after every few hours. This isn't very often, but it disturbed us when we were asleep in the middle of the night. Perhaps we should have tried sleeping in the other room to see if the AC was less noisy or if the beds were softer. (FYI, the AC unit in the main living space was always quiet, so perhaps the AC in that front bedroom needs to be serviced).

Host very nice and helpful with tips regarding things to do and taxi driver recommendations. Netflix and wifi available :) Pillow and mattress could have been slightly comfier. Bed was 7/10 comfortable

• Santiago (10/5): Exceptional - Jean Carlos and his mother were very helpful and friendly during our stay in Galápagos. The house was very clean and comfortable, and it came with all the services we needed. Also, Jean Carlos was very helpful with recommendations for things to do in San Cristobal.
• David (10/5): Excellent value! - My brother and I booked Tropical Paradise for five nights. Jean and his mother were so gracious, welcoming, and helpful. The house was very comfortable (excellent a/c!), and we particularly enjoyed having access to a washing machine. We both were very pleased! The house is a good 15-minute walk to the heart of downtown which necessitated taking taxis on several occasions (a minor inconvenience); however, that distance also meant that house and its surroundings were quiet at night, which we appreciated.
• Nicole (10/5): Pretty relaxing place - It was a beautiful comfortable home with a lovely interior and very good for relaxing and doing family activities such as cooking,watching tv or washing clothes etc. There is a lot of construction all around and on top although the construction on the second floor wasn't active during the stay. There is a store nearby. The place is amazing, just the location is something to think about. The construction around the house was a little unsettling but manageable, and it was a bit far from the main city so not a walking distance and finding a taxi was a bit complicated. Everyone is friendly however the area Is a little more run down. .
