• Christel (1/5): À fuir absolument ! Avoid at all costs! - Rien. Nothing. Ne réservez surtout pas ce logement qui est infesté de cafards. Cela a complètement gâché notre séjour. Conditions d’hygiène inacceptables. Do not book this accommodation as it is infested with cockroaches. It completely ruined our stay. The hygiene conditions are unacceptable.

• Millie Grace (10/5): Amazing large property, perfect for families! - Property was lovely, no major complaints really! Great location, near the beach, supermarket and easy access to the rest of the island if you have a car. The property was suitable for most age ranges, it came with an elevator from the basement/ garage to the top floor. There were plenty of activities supplied, a pool table, table tennis, books, board games, pool toys. We requested beach towels and they were supplied for us as well. There was even a few gym equipment pieces too. Would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend for a group of family! Communication with the hosts/ company were really good and informative, however, there was no gas for the BBQ. We messaged the host asking if it’s something they supply or whether it’s something we get ourselves. We were told they would come over and sort it for us. This never happened. I followed up and was ignored and therefore we went and supplied the gas ourselves. Again, most of the communications were amazing, I just think perhaps we should’ve been told to provide the gas ourselves as opposed to waiting for something that never materialised.
• Walter (7/5): Schön, aber an dem Objekt muss gearbeitet werden! - Die Lage des Hauses war grundsätzlich gut und auch die Ausstattung. Mir fehlte nach unseren letzten Erfahrungen vor einigen Jahren auf Mallorca der Kontakt zum Vermieter und das völlig unpersönliche. Noch nicht mal ein Früchtekorb oder ähnliches zur Begrüßung hat es gegeben. Sehr gut war die Ausstattung mit Kühl- und Eisschränken, sodass man auch für eine so große Familie gut einkaufen konnte. Sehr gut auch die Tiefgarage für mindestens zwei Fahrzeuge, in der auch die gesamte Anlage des Pools (Pumpe und Chlorierung) untergebracht war. Hier hätte mir ein Pool mit weniger Chlor und alternativer Reinhaltung (Salz o.ä.) besser gefallen. Das gesamte Haus ist verlebt. viele Sachen sind heruntergekommen bis defekt, so z.B. die Dusche im EG. Die genau wie die Dusche im Keller auch viel zu klein ist, Duschkabine hat nur 65 x 65 cm. In der Küche fehlten viele Teile dafür, dass man das Haus mit bis zu 8 Personen nutzen können soll (wir waren zu siebt), Es gibt drei Tische aber alle nur mit sechs Stühlen. Es ist auch zu wenig, wenn dann nur sechs kleine Löffel oder nur genau die Anzahl Messer und Gabeln genauso wie Teller vorhanden sind, auch wenn es eine Spülmaschine gibt. Auch das Zubehör an der Tischtennisplatte war zum Großteil defekt, ebenso die Sachen am Pool. Am Pool waren Fliesen abgegangen am Rand oberhalb der Wasserlinie, die teilweise noch im Pool lagen. Die Auflagen auf den Liegen hatten schon mal bessere Zeiten gehabt. Das gilt auch für die Dusche am Pool, die in alle Richtungen das Wasser rausspritzt. Und insgesamt war das Objekt nicht sauber. Bereits am ersten Tag bei Bezug hatte man, wenn man auf Socken durch das Objekt ging, direkt dreckige Socken. An vielen Stellen in den Badezimmern war Schimmel keine Seltenheit. Die Klimaanlagen funktionierten zwar, brachten aber vor Allem im OG einen extremen Gestank mit sich bei Nutzung, im Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss hielt sie nie die eingestellte Temperatur, sondern wurde immer kälter. Von den Türen zur Terrasse war eine nicht verriegelbar und die Tür vom Pool zur Treppe an die Straße war das Schloss kaum mit dem vorhandenen Schlüssel zu bedienen. An der Lage war das Hotel gegenüber eindeutig zu bemängeln. Insbesondere die tägliche Anlieferung dort durch LKWs und Busse sorgte immer für eine gewisse Lärmbelästigung auch mitten in der Nacht oder sehr in der Frühe. Einige der Palmen und Bäume, die um den Pool positioniert waren, sahen doch sehr vertrocknet aus, diese habe ich mehrfach gegossen, die Palmen und Büsche auf der Grundstücksbegrenzung hatten eine Bewässerungsanlage, die Palmen sahen aber auch nicht besonders gut aus.
• Dinu (10/5): - A wonderful stay! We spent a few excellent days in this holiday home. The property is very clean, well maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the yard/terrace offers a perfect spot for relaxation
• Lynn (8/5): we had an amazing stay with family great view and lovely surroundings - very spacious lovely outdoor area there’s a few things that need maintenance to , pool tills missing , leaking shower also water in the basement when you put the washer on broken bin in the kitchen fridges need properly replacing don’t keep cold
• Julia (10/5): Memories made. - Spacious. Ideal for a three generation family stay. Kids loved the pool and the games room. We absolutely loved the space- house hide and seek was fun. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped. Shampoo, shower gel, dishwasher and washing machine tablets provided, plus a small amount of washing up liquid. We bought some cleaning supplies. Communication from host was good- easy access instructions. Garage easily parked two cars. Puerto de Santiago is a relatively quiet resort, which is why we chose it- away from the hustle and bustle areas. Fantastic views of La Gomera ( which we took a day trip to) from balcony. Playa Arena is not really a swimming area but Puerto de Santiago playa is better or Playa San Juan is a ten minute drive. There was nothing we didn’t like. Only suggestion would be a second set of keys would be useful. Would we return…? Definitely!

• Merje (10/5): We enjoyed it! Would recommend to others. - The house was very clean and spacious. Our children played with toys (trains, balls) and loved to swim. The pool was heated. The kitchen had everything you need. Upon arrival we were startled by an house alarm that we were not warned about. It went on several times, making the kids cry, until we removed the batteries on it ourselves. We also communicated with the owner at the same time. Owner was very helpful! We didn't let it spoil our vacation and enjoyed the following days. The window and door shutters felt a bit unsafe.

• Bronwen (9/5): Great villa, good location, hiring a car definitely worthwhile. - The villa was spacious and the outdoor space excellent. The service from the local team was great, very friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to a good selection of restaurants and an easy drive to the shopping malls, beaches, boat trips and water park. There was some noise from the neighbouring property and the aqua aerobics taking place at the hotel across the road, but nothing that would stop us booking again.
• Amanda (7/5): After a rocky start, we ended up having the most loveliest of stays! - The villa could not have been more perfect! The pictures don’t do it justice - it really is Stunning. The property is huge, spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped and just all-round amazing! The pool was heated and super clean and a lovely man came half way through to top the chlorine up. The outdoors was perfect for us to do walking laps around the villa ground with the pushchairs- so much space inside and out! The kids enjoyed the Netflix and wifi and the sun loungers were super comfy around the pool. The awning around the outside table was a Perfect added touch as it really did get super hot! The fake-grass was comfy for the babies to crawl around too. The master suite… oh my goodness it was just STUNNING!!! Huge games room downstairs was brilliant although the weather was so lovely, we barely went down there. When we arrived we were shown around and then told to pay €200 cash as a deposit for any damages. I refused on the basis of nothing stated we needed to pay anything extra and I wasn’t going to hand over cash to anyone. The man from the management company was very insistent and then tried to charge us for a late check in! Again I refused and after quite an uncomfortable lengthily discussion he eventually gave up and left. The area is VERY hilly, so whilst there is lots around, it’s quite hard work to just ‘pop out’. Finally, we needed darts! There was only 1 dart so we couldn’t play darts as a family, but this was a minor thing.
• Andrew (2/5): We will not be returning & would advise any other families to avoid it’s not worth the stress/hassle - location and seaview 4 adults, 3 year old, 5 month old baby our experience. We were told to come to the house at 3pm but then had to wait while the cleaners finished they were still in the house at 5.50pm (cleaners advised house was destroyed by previous guests) we just stood around. My wife & mom then spent the night cleaning all the kitchen ware again as the plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery etc were still not clean. Extremely stressful and disrupting to our first day which was lost, we couldn't relax and our daughter could not use the pool. On arrival agent asked for €300 cash deposit no mention of this when the booking was made or on booking.com? (we gave €200 which was all the cash we had as for emergency use only) we were using our bank cards for everything. Pool was very dirty so we had to wait for pool cleaner to come on day 2 to clean the pool he was embarrassed & said it should have been done before we got there so half a day lost. Then he came back the following day to put new chlorine tablets in the system that should been there already not good! Pool was advertised as heated only barely. We informed villa agents a window in the basement games room did not lock or the patio door in our bedroom. The whole week my family did not feel 100% safe/comfortable but nothing was done so we continued to make the best of a bad situation. Main fridge stopped working while we were on a day out full of food we informed villa agents 9pm, fridge was not fixed until 1.30pm the following day and we could not use it until 4pm another day waiting around. (we survived using small bottle fridge unacceptable for a group of 6) We were leaving early on departure day agent said inspection would be done day before in the afternoon we waited & waited no one came, only at 9.30pm they sent a text saying it would now be 8am on our leaving day again bad communication. On return we raised official complaint through booking.
• Irena (10/5): Amazing family stay with sea view and pool! - Nice and spacious house , heated pool, well equipped kitchen. Closed garage for 2 cars. 20 min to the beach by foot (with kids). Baby chair no baby cot, great internet connection and nice TVs. View and outside dining area great! Also enjoyed recreation area will ping pong table. :) All was great! Only can mention last minute communication about maintenance work, with notification 30 minutes before workers arrived. Could disturb privacy.
