• Anonymous (6/5): It was fine - Location was good. Easy walk to everything, very spacious and bright with the curtains open. Heating was good. Host was great with sending messages and replying in great time. The master room spa bath didn't look appealing with the amount of grime in and around the jets. Pillow cases had some marks on them.

• Tracey (9/5): Great place, highly recommended - Great aircon in heatwave. Great views over esplanade, roomy and comfortable, everything you need. Stairs to first floor with suitcases was a struggle for us oldies.

We hope to visit again. - This apartment is just divine - it is so spacious with huge bedrooms (the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed plus 2 singles) a fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining and loungeroom plus a balcony with a bbq. It was easily the nicest place we stayed on our trip from Melbourne to Perth. We wished we could stay for a week, rather than a night! There is a second apartment next door with an adjoining balcony (private when the adjoining door is locked), so would be great to book for 2 families holidaying together. The only things I could fault is the tiny and difficult to access parking spot for apartment 1 (thank God my husband is an amazing parker!) and the cleaner arrived early (15 minutes before checkout time), so we were glad we were organised! (But I’m being picky here!)

Great air conditioning, beds were comfortable and very spacious and loved that we had our own car park. Supplied body wash and shampoo plus conditioner too. Great country hospitality. Not much at all.

• Heather (8/5): Great roomy unit but not aware of stairs prior to booking. - Large spacious unit. Great views. Not aware that unit was upstairs and so had to drag suitcases up very narrow stairs - was not mentioned online and certainly no pictures of stairs. Very disappointing for over 70's. Parking not available for 2 vehicles. Front door lock was faulty and wind kept blowing it open.
• Tiffany (5/5): Average due to the attempted break in and no gesture from owners other than an apology text message. - Size of space, comfortable pillows, good sized couches, free netflix/wifi. The first thing I actually thought upon entering, was what a strange front door. No screen door, no double lock or extra security and a somewhat, see through door. I didn't think it was an appropriate front door. After having someone try to break in that had possibly done so in the past (according to his statement to police), I would suggest adding some security measures. I felt unsafe and it certainly tarnished our stay. I would have appreciated some sort of offer of compensation after what we went through. I spent a certain amount of time calling owners, on the phone with one of the owners, sending photos, allowing the owner into the house while we were there to fix the balcony door and on the phone to the police multiple times making incident reports (with them calling me). Not to mention the actual trauma of what I went through on the night with someone trying to break in through the front door and also my bedroom windows. An offer of a discount on what we paid certainly would have been appropriate and appreciated.
