• Jennifer (10/5): I would definitely recommend Bougainville for all the reasons above. You won’t be disappointed! - Very comfortable, very clean and well stocked apartment. Everything worked as expected and fabulous TV. Restaurants and small supermarket nearby and walk to the main town and harbour only 20/30 minutes away with quality restaurants and shops. Nice pool within the complex and quiet surroundings. N/A
• Ovidijus (8/5): The apartment has potential, but it definitely needs more care and maintenance—especially the terrace. - Pros: • Excellent bed: I had a really good night's sleep here. • Modern Smart TV. • Comfortable sofa. • Well-equipped kitchen: It has everything you might need. • Quiet and calm location. 1. Manipulative Review Practices: The owner explicitly asked me to leave a 10/10 rating on Booking.com and only mention negatives privately via WhatsApp. This is misleading to future guests and, in my opinion, undermines the integrity of the rating system. 2. Terrace Issues: The photos are misleading. There was no hammock or umbrella available. One corner was cluttered with old, unusable items that should be thrown away; an outdoor storage box would easily solve this. 3. Safety & Lighting: There was no lighting on the terrace or around the high stairs, making them unsafe at night. Despite reporting this on Saturday, the owner promised a fix by Monday but didn't follow through until Tuesday (and only after Booking.com intervened). Even then, the main light switch for the stairs remains broken. 4. Severe Odors: The bathroom has an overpowering sewage smell. If you leave the bathroom door open, the entire apartment becomes unbearable. Additionally, the wardrobe has a strong "old warehouse" scent that clings to clothes; I had to rewash clean t-shirts after just two days. 5. Poor Sound Insulation: You can clearly hear neighbors' conversations, which impacts privacy.
• Anastasiya (7/5): - Отличное месторасположение, тихий жилой комплекс, хороший и стильный ремонт. Простое заселение. Кухня практически полностью готова для готовки (нет сковородки). Во время нашего пребывания в апартаментах отсутствовали такие необходимые вещи как запасная туалетная бумага, бумажные салфетки, средства для стирки, мусорные пакеты. Слив в душевой был забит и в ванной комнате перманентно стоял сильный запах канализации. После пребывания в апартаментах хост попросил не ставить оценку ниже 10, на мой взгляд это прямое давление на гостя и очевидная манипуляция.

• Katharine (10/5): Wonderful apartment in lovely complex. - A lovely spacious apartment in a beautiful complex. Two very large swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers round the pools. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Correspondence with Morgana beforehand was excellent. She met us at the complex and we were able to have an early check-in. Good location for walking to beaches and into town. Would definitely stay here again.
• Edwina (10/5): Perfect for a six week stay - We had a very comfortable stay and the first floor apartment provided most amenities and facilities we needed for a 6 week stay. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable sofa and large bed, the large tv with reliable WiFi and full oven/hob and washing machine. The location of the apartment was perfect for us and we would definitely stay there again. The balcony gets the sun all day and there is a nice view of palm trees and the pool in the distance. It was nice and quiet at night. The host Eddy was very responsive to questions as was Ms Morgana and her team who arranged for key collection and directions etc Nothing - everything was perfect

The contact to the host was super nice and friendly. We loved the stay and will come back :) Nothing bad, I‘d just recommend investing in a Pad machine for coffee instead of filter coffee. But that’s not a real issue :) maybe provide ant traps for the kitchen (we know it’s Fuerte, so no real issue. We just bought it ourselves) but maybe provide them, would be great :)

Apartment close to the front entrance and pools. Peaceful & private (except when construction was done by complex owners right by the front door). Cute, cheerful, well thought out, spacious and comfy with great amenities, easy stress-free check in/out. No views to speak of, bedroom faces high wall, but the big palms right outside bring greenery into the space and the advantage is no one can see you dress! Leak under bathroom basin which I'm sure got fixed already. The power points in kitchen are somewhat..creative!
