• Irene (4/5): DO NOT BOOK!! STINKY!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!! - Good location, amenities HORRIBLE SMELL!! DONT EVEN BOTHER BOOKING unless you want to be ignored. They don’t bother replying to your messages via the app, messages via their number provided, and definitely do not answer the phone WITH the number they provided. Waste of time trying to contact them. The smell from the rubbish chutes (especially from so high up) is atrocious. When entering the rooms, it was super dusty and smelt of mould. Spend a bit more money elsewhere for better service. Service here is non-existent.

Just make sure you request after you book s the booking said no parking available Pool was amazing We loved the apartment and location so much, we would even consider buying and investment property there. The coffee pods in apartment were not compatible to the nespresso machine.
• Rachel (9/5): - Close in proximity to daughter's cheerleading competition. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Facilities were great 👍🏾. Nice and clean. Pool, spa, gym and sauna were very good and put to good use. View was spectacular at night and during the day. 2 car parking spaces was so helpful too. We needed more towels especially as we used the pool and didn't have our own. There were only the ones provided in the room which was great but it would have been nice to have some extras too. Other than that minor thing, we couldn't be more happy with our stay and the facilities.

We were told that the keys were with reception- however upon arrival- reception advised us they had no keys. Our attempts to contact the property manager were left unanswered - we still haven’t received a response. We had to book a different hotel as we weren’t even able to check in. No communication, no instructions, complete silence. Save yourself the headache and book anywhere else- unless you enjoy spending money on accommodation you can’t even stay in. • Kurt (8/5): - Apartment was very lovely, very comfortable.. Was in a fantastic spor, close to everything, short walk to train station , tram stops. Fantastic views from room. The only bad thing was the really old, rusty frypans, we chose to buy a new one and left it there.

Not replying to your messages or call. They dont give the keys on time also We waited over an hour outside the building just to get the keysafe code.

• Jacinda (9/5): Great apartment for a short stay, easy to get around. - Great location to everything. Restaurants and trams at your doorstep. Spacious enough for 4 people. Very odd smell in corridor outside accommodation however smell was not in the apartment. Trains could be heard but did not impact sleep.

• Sheree (8/5): Comfortable and very enjoyable. - We came over for a quick trip for a concert - we were very happy with the location and accommodations for the 6 of us - plenty of room, great views and clean and tidy. The only down side is there were on one set of keys (and fob) which may it difficult at times when we were going out separately. But never the less we did make it work.

This was supposed to be our family’s annual city staycay for Christmas festivities and was r - Location In the TV Cabinet there was a box of condoms - not ideal when our 7 & 10 year old kids found them. Absolutely disgraceful When booking it said 3 bedroom apartment. When we arrived it was a 1 bedroom apartment with a futon for the kids. The kids are tall and it was an extremely uncomfortable stay for them in particular The bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied and had rubbish from the previous stay The free to air tv didn’t work
• Stephen (1/5): Poor - Loavtion Was sold as 2 bedroom for 4 adults. Had 1 double Bed and a very small sofa bed which wasn't suitable for 1 child let alone 2 adults. Had to book alternate accomodation and have requested refund but haven't heard anything back
• Eleabor (10/5): Wonderful - The property is amazing. This is our second stay with Melbourne Quater. The location, facilities and room were 10/10. My kids love the heated pool and my husband and I love the sauna/steamroom and jacuzzi after a long day exploring the city. Very grateful for the early check in. We will be back!! Thank you! The only down side is the smell from the trash room opposite the apartment - fortunately you cannot smell this once inside the apartment. The concierge (a male) was very rude on check in - we’d been travelling with small children since 4am and had organised with the owners for an early check in which we were so greatful for. The concierge was rude and said we’d need to get the owners to email them to let them know - even though the property was vacant. With a screaming toddler this extra 15mins was unnecessary. The owner promptly messaged the concierge about our early check in.

• Alice (7/5): Good - the staff where helpful and also very nice and clean reception Was hard to get into the actual building to check in. One of the beds was a blow up bed on the floor which luckily worked fine for our young children just would have been good to have been told before hand. No parking was really difficult. We had to pay for our car to be parked elsewhere.

• Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - The name of the accommodation didn’t match the address and cost us more in taxi fees. It needed to mention that it was situated in the MQ building. We initially thought we’d been scammed - even the concierge didn’t know what Rest SkyHigh Melbourne apartments were and the only way we worked out that it was our accommodation was through the concierge having to match the booking to his computer. If the computer had been down we would have been in big strife!!

When we entered the apartment on arrival there was 2 large yellow bags containing the previous guests used bed linen, towels and tea towels. The outside balcony also had rubbish and beer bottle caps all over the balcony floor.

• Kamran (8/5): Great building, very convenient location with tram stop below. Close to southern cross station. Friendly staff. Make sur - Views. Location. Indoor pool. Nice apartment and very convenient. At first there was a Salmon smell in apartment. Possibly from the previous tenant. Sofa bed very uncomfortable. Shower drains out to the bathroom floor.. Other than that it was nice.
• Davern (6/5): Pleasant - The pool, sauna, steam room & spa were great. The apartment is well-positioned to the city and trams. As everything regarding the accommodation is via Booking.com, any issues are to be communicated with them. The MQ apartment staff simply supply and receive the key after your stay. We were told it was an air bnb situation. I emailed Booking.com regarding no towels for the pool (we purchased our own) & the fact that the supplied coffee pod machine did not work. Luckily, we hadn't bought pods for it as it was advertised as having one that worked. I received no response from Booking.com which I believe to be very poor form and rude of them.

• Helen (8/5): SKYHIGH MELBOURNE - The location was great, there was a tram stop right out side and Southern Cross Station just around the corner and resturants a distance entertainment within easy walking distance. Tha Apartment had great views and was spaceous and comfortable Checkin wasnt until after 3pm and trying to contact someone to see if we could have an early checkin or leave our bags at reception was impossible, the response to our email request was a automated reply a d when we rang the provided number it we t to an answering machine. Also some of the dishes and cutlery were dirty and the coffee pods provided didnt fit into the pod machine

I had raised this with the contact person for this property, we had done all he said but was not resolved. There was no parking. It was definitely more air BnB vibes rather than a hotel.

No wifi in the apartment, we notified our host but they were unable to fix it during our stay. However, wifi was available in the common areas. This made it hard for my husband to work but it was a blessing for me and my daughter as we got some much needed no device time!

• Kylie (7/5): Amazing property in every aspect, poorly equiped and badly cleaned. - The location was ideal, amazing apartment with sensational views and the pool, gym, spa, sauna and steam room were fabulous! The property sleeps 6 however there wasn’t adequate glassware, bowls, cutlery, utensils, dining seats or sitting space for 6 people. The property was far from clean - coffee machines with terrible build up residue, hair all through the bath tub not washed properly, rubbish at the back of the couch and a half full beer bottle and males ring under the master room bed. Messaged the property mama her immediately but they didn’t even both to acknowledge these concerns raised. If I was the property owner, I would want to know personally if the property was not cleaned properly for guests.

• Manu (2/5): Double booked - The concierge was really helpful and apologetic. We arrived at the accommodation around 6pm after travelling all day from NZ. The concierge couldn't find the key and asked us to go dinner while he sorted it with Neil. When we returned just after 8pm, I was asked to give Neil a call. Neil stated that the room had been double booked and that there were no other rooms available that suited what we needed. We needed a three bedroom apartment because there were 3 of us who were attending a conference for the week. He said that him and his team were looking for alternative accommodation for us. I told him that I was running out of calling credit (having just arrived in the country) and if he could ring me when he found us somewhere, I would appreciate it. Neil did not ring nor did he follow up to ensure that we had found somewhere. This added unnecessary stress and anxiety to what was supposed to be a great professional learning and development trip because we then had to spend time looking for somewhere else to stay. We are still trying to get our money back.
