• Matthew (7/5): Modern, bright and very well equipped apartment. - Modern and new apartment in very nice complex with a Tesco Express . Kitchen very well equipped and included plenty of cleaning products and dishwasher and washing machine tablets. Very clean and good quality bedding. We were not staying for business or pleasure but staying while a relative was in Charing Cross hospital just 5 minutes walk away. The apartment was very practical and had everything that we needed for day to day living. The host was very responsive when I had a couple of queries including extending by an extra day. The key collection was at a general store 5-10 minutes walk away ( depending on mobility and whether you are carrying luggage) which is inconvenient on arrival and also on departure as keys had to be returned here. I really didn't appreciate this in the dark and rain and also trying to find the apartment on foot in an unfamiliar area, on check out day it was in the opposite direction to where I needed to be -this definitely needs rethinking. The bed is not a full size double ( even though there is room for one) and the sofa bed in the lounge is very uncomfortable for sleeping and sitting on and not suitable for more than one adult. It was kind of the host to check in to see how things were on the first night but the text arrived at 1.30 am and the check out instructions were sent at 4.15am which I didn't appreciate as -so they need to be mindful of the UK time.
