- Silvia (9/5): A fantastic place only 10 minutes from Verdun - We had a great stopover here on our way from the UK back to Germany. The staff was very friendly, the bed comfortable the breakfast good and the castle with its surrounding park absolutely fantastic, especially for our dog after a long day of driving. We didn't try the dinner offered at the hotel, but would probably try it next time as it seemed very popular. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been a kettle in our room and a more extensive breakfast selection, but these were really minor things. We would definitely stay here again.

- Markus (10/5): Einfach traumhaft - Super Château, wie im Märchen oder wie im Paradies. Das Essen ist ein Traum, es braucht nicht immer Sterne. Das beste ist der umwerfende Käsewagen. Sehr liebenswürdiges Besitzerehepaar.

Die meisten Gardinen waren sehr billig und die in meinem Schlafzimmer 40 cm zu kurz. Das hat das Haus nicht verdient. Das Geländer auf der fantastischen Terrasse zerfällt.

- Mattia (8/5): An unexpected surprise. - Castle and the park are marvellous. Excellent dinner and breakfast. I enjoyed walking around the park and along the river with my dog. A bit dated furnishing and interiors, but clean and comfortable.

Ein Muss ist das Restaurant Abends. Auf jeden Fall reservieren. Ein Essen wie beim Sterne Koch. Aber nur halb so teuer. Hervorzuheben auf jeden Fall die Käseplatte hinterher.

- Franz-Josef (10/5): Besser geht nicht. Hotel u Restaurant überragend - Ganz tolles Schloss als Hotel gemacht. Wunderschöne Zimmer. Liegt mitten in 17 ha großen Park mit großen alten Bäumen durch den die Meuse fließt. Preis Leistung nicht zu toppen. War zum vierten Mal dort und habe in 14 Tagen gleich wieder gebucht. Hatte reserviert für Abendessen. Das war wie immer sensationell. Nichts zu bemängeln

Nice environment and great staff and restaurant. Great hospitality and you definitely feel like prince and princess staying and dinning there. Clean and nice. Super value for money. The room we get is slightly small will definitely spend more if I had know the place . Will do so next time.

The hotel isn’t really set up for enjoying an evening drink with light snacks, apart from a rather formal restaurant setting. This might have been due to a wedding taking place during our stay. The rooms themselves feel a bit dated and could use some refurbishment.

It's great to be able to go for a long walk through the woods and along the river before dinner. The restaurant is wonderful, classic French cooking, and probably the most amazing cheese board I have ever seen (and I have seen a few in my time). Good wine list too, and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.

Wir sind sehr freundlich Empfangen worden und konnten den Aperitif auf der Terrasse genießen. Das Dinner war hervorragend gekocht und mit außergewöhnlichem Stil serviert. Absolutes Sterneniveau. Auf die Allergien meiner Frau wurde mit großem Interesse eingegangen und sie hat auf nichts verzichten müssen. Das war beeindruckend und aussergewöhnlich. Wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut und wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer haben eine historische Einrichtung. Die Bäder sind modern. Das Frühstück war hausgemacht und lecker.

The restaurant is high quality and very well furnished with a beautiful view on the surrounding park. Unfortunately the rainy weather did not allow us to fully enjoy the beautiful park.
