La camera non è grandissima, ma considerando la media degli alberghi di Tokyo è più che sufficiente. L'onsen all'ultimo piano è molto piacevole e rilassante, mentre le bevande gratuite sono ben gradite dopo una giornata passata a girare per la città. Posizione comoda rispetto alla stazione di Akihabara, alla metro e all'electric Town Le finestre sono un po' opprimenti, e il lavandino in camera, con il bagno dedicato solo alla doccia e al water, fa un po strano

- Christian (10/5): - The onsen is an absolute highlight and open all night. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but communication takes some time if you only speak English. Rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable for us. Location is also great, the Ginza line only 3min by foot. Highly recommend staying here! Booking was a little bit confusing, the single twin bed room for two seems quite too small, we took the full bed (1.40m width) and absolutely loved our stay.

Sobretodo la recepcionista, ni te mira a la cara y se negó a explicarnos nada de como funcionaba el hotel. Tuvimos que ir enterándonos con los carteles que había en el ascensor. Una pena porque no l hotel tiene cosas geniales como polos gratis o nuddles gratis para cenar.

In fact, we didn’t even stay for the whole duration . Quite possibly the most rundown hotel in Tokyo. Dingy, dirty, with peeling wallpaper and an overwhelming smell of mildew, I saw surprised at the condition of the hotel. The mildew issue was so bad we had to leave and get another hotel.

While the facilities were fantastic, it was one of the more expensive accommodations we used. It is a bit of a splurge to stay here but for a short period it's worth it.

- Esin (7/5): Great location and lovely Onsen! - Amazing location close to multiple metro stations! And right in the heart of Akihabara! Great location for all tech, gaming and shopping. Really great restaurants around, both toward Akihabara and toward Okachimachi. Besides the location, our other reason to book this hotel was the Onsen which I love. Although there were some white tourists who ignored certain rules such as not taking towels in the Onsen or not soaking them in the pools - so if you are planning to use it, please don’t be one of them and respect the rules of the place you are in! Staff were lovely! Rooms are clean. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel this time but the previous Dormy Inns we stayed in had great breakfasts! There is laundry (separate washers and dryers) in the Onsen area which you can use. The washer is for free with preloaded soap and you need to put 100 yen coins to operate the dryer. You can also get ice cream and Yakults after getting a nice evening soak in the Onsen. Rooms are small, so prepared to hop around your luggages if you are travelling with large ones. The beds are comfortable but also on the smaller side. I’ve noticed that the pillows in the hotels I’ve stayed in Japan tend to be low and hard. So, this time around I’ve brought a travel pillow with me which helped. In the room we stayed in, there was a bathroom with a shower and a Japanese toilet, with a small sink over the toilet but no hand soap. The sink could have been a little bit more cleaner but as there were no soap there anyway, so we used the separate sink in the room.

- Doron (9/5): Great location. Wonderful staff. Fantastic onsen she - Wonderful venue with caring and considerate and warm kind staff. The breakfast wasn’t fantastic but I think it was because it was very traditional Japanese and the kids wanted something a little more familiar. The onsen on the top floor is excellent and the facilities are very well maintained. Would highly recommend. The room we stayed in was very small for three people. The rooms are a little bit dated but still of a decent standard. The breakfast was the same every day and slightly limited.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, even with luggage transfers and adding on breakfast that we didn't originally book. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, and was a great way to start our days, especially since breakfast options are somewhat limited in Tokyo. We had never been to a public bath before, and loved the experience here. The facilities were clean, easy to use, and beautiful. The hotel had an excellent location and while, yes, the rooms are small, it was completely fine for two adults (especially considering we weren't spending most of our time in the room). Highly recommend!

The suna was by far the hottest we've encountered in Japan (you quickly learn to use the rubbery cushion!). The breakfast was quite good, a good mi ix of Japanese and wedtern-style foods. The rooms were quite small, so were the beds. I could barely fit in with my 16-y son shoulder-to-shoulder (I am the dad). Also we had to book two rooms since we were four (a common occurence in Japan, where hotel rooms are designed for 2). But in the end it was fine.

Staff were incredibly friendly and food was delicious! I liked everything! Rooms are a little small. It didn’t bother us, but other people might find that an issue.

Hotel tucked at one corner, quiet neighbourhood and has many eateries. A 24hr supermarket next door. Pretty old and felt room smaller than other Dormy hotel.

La taille du lit pour deux personnes convient aux locaux mais pas a la clientèle internationale. En revanche pour un confort de travail mettre les sacs de linge sale a même le sol dans le couloir client s est pas top et en cas d alarme cela peux provoquer une gêne. For our first trip; the staff at the hotel were exceptional. Sadly the toilet made noises every time I flushed. I thought it was normal but my sister didn’t experience that in her room. Also, the room was dusty, notably the toilet paper. Taking out the rolls and discovered a heap of dust. As well as the desks where the lights were and the phone had dust. It needed more TLC and a wipe down and disappointed that my toilet making noises wasn’t normal.
- Andrea (7/5): Overall, a great deal for the onsen and convenient location! - This hotel is in a great location - just an 8 minute walk to Akihabara station (Yamanote Line) and a 2 minute walk to the Ginza Line, plus tons of food and shopping options. The staff were very kind and helpful. This was my first time in Japan, so I was a bit worried about how the check-in process would go, or how difficult it would be to get assistance if needed, given my very limited Japanese skills. Despite some language barrier, everything went smoothly and the staff was always patient and upbeat. We were able to get our bed sheets and towels changed every day by using cue cards that were in the room, and two bottles of water were also placed in the mini fridge every day. Additionally, the hotel provided pajamas in the room, which was awesome. The mattress was very firm, which is something that I like but might not be everyone's cup of tea. The biggest plus was the indoor/outdoor onsen! Though small, it was beautifully decorated and styled to appear natural. Tattoos are not allowed, but I covered mine (3 large ones) with tattoo covers from Don Quijote and didn't have any issues. In the mornings, there was free yakult outside of the onsen, and in the evenings there was free ice cream. There were also 2 small-ish washers and dryers in the changing room area of the onsen. The washers were free and self-dispensing (so no need to add detergent), and the dryers cost 100 yen per 20 minutes. I was able to dry a full load for just 200 yen / 40 minutes. I expected the room to be small based on the pictures and common knowledge that Japanese hotel rooms can be quite small, but in person, I was surprised just how small it actually was. We had 5 suitcases (2 large, 1 medium, 2 carry-on) and had to stack them, store them in the bathroom, or play Jenga with them everyday. I would say there is only room for 1 large suitcase and 1 carry-on, at best. What didn't help was the fact that there was no closet or dresser, only a rod with a few hangers. Additionally, the pillows were very flat and I found myself needing to fold them in half and place my arms underneath for support. Slept well enough, though. Though the hotel was clean, it did feel quite dated.

- JEONGWOO (9/5): - 대욕장 덕분에 매일 여기저기 돌아다녀 쌓인 피로를 풀 수 있었어요. 야식으로 제공되는 무료 라멘도 맛있었구요. 방이 작은게 단점이지만 이거야 대부분의 일본 호텔이 그러니까 큰 문제는 아니었습니다. 직원분들도 엄청 친절하세요. 메트로 역도 가까웠고 인근에 24시 세븐일레븐도 있어서 편했습니다. 밤 11:30 쯤만 되면 담배 냄새가 들어왔어요. 다른때는 안나다가 꼭 그 시간만 되면 담배 냄새가 났어요. 근처에 흡연 가능한 방이 있어서 그런건지 모르겠지만 이건 좀 별로였습니다.
