• Lenore (9/5): Just what the doctor ordered. - Loved every aspect. For a small resort it was done very well, very picturesque, absolutely loved the boat charter to snorkel on the pristine reef and see the dolphins. The waitresses especially were very accommodating, remembered our names and looked after my aunty very well. Even chewing the leaves of the guava tree cured my son and my tummy issues.
• Ava (7/5): Good for quality time with friends - facilities and gear need some TLC… - Really friendly staff - supplied myself and friends with entertainment in the evening, even a few free rounds!! Pool was lovely to enjoy and read by, and the food was nice too. Went for a kayak trip with friend - her kayak had a hole in it so sunk which led to her losing her phone. The staff supplied snorkels and masks for us to look but otherwise stood back (the masks are BS btw), so weren’t much help. Should probs check all the kayaks before renting out!! In the room, the beds were VERY solid… need breaking in a bit haha! In the bathroom, lighting wasn’t great and the toilet seat was broken - had a shard of plastic pointing up!! (Ouch)

• Vive (1/5): Beautiful views but let down by poor hygiene and maintenance. - The property is in a great location with beautiful, scenic views of the water. Unfortunately, the resort is very run-down. Our room was poorly prepared..no towels were provided, the TV was broken, and the floors were covered in dust. We even found rubbish under the beds and ended up having to clean the room ourselves. Hygiene was also a concern in the common areas; there were animals running around the dining and bar area, including two large dogs and a baby goat. Overall, the lack of maintenance and cleanliness was very disappointing.
• Frederick (9/5): Amazing staff and venue, but room lacks wifi and good design. - Amazing staff and venue. Convenient location near Rakiraki. No wifi in the rooms and you cant open the blinds without opening to the outside air. So if you have the airconditioning on, you cant have daylight. That's an odd way to design the windows. Also the rooms are fairly small in comparison to the other places I've stayed in, while travelling Fiji.

The weather was really windy when we were there and there were not a lot of options of things to do outside of water activities. The area is quite isolated so bring a good book if the forecast does not look promising.

• Yasmin (10/5): Such a relaxing experience - the staff at golden point are exceptional, the food (while not included) was also fantastic and we spent a lot of time at the restaurant and the bar. we loved the little man-made lagoon for quick swims in between lounging around and the patio outside our room was also so enjoyable for cards or a cup of tea i wish there was a bigger pool or sand at the man made lagoon

Highly recommend. - Golden Point Resort is an absolute gem if you’re looking for a quiet, laid-back escape away from the hustle and bustle of the big Nadi resorts. The staff are genuinely amazing, warm, attentive, and incredibly welcoming from the moment you arrive. You really feel looked after, but in a relaxed, unobtrusive way that suits the vibe of the place. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with stunning views and a real sense of privacy. One of the highlights is the private beach, which comes alive at high tide and feels like your own little slice of paradise. It’s perfect for swimming, kayaking, or just sitting back and soaking it all in. The excursions are a real standout. We went out to see dolphins, which was incredible, and the snorkeling is some of the best we’ve ever experienced, and we’ve dived a lot. Crystal-clear water, healthy reefs, and an abundance of marine life made every trip out feel special. Everything about Golden Point encourages you to slow down – no crowds, no noise, just ocean, nature, and calm. If you’re after a quiet getaway, a romantic escape, or simply somewhere to properly switch off, I’d highly recommend this resort.
• Prasad (10/5): Whoever leaves a bad review is totally lying 🤥 golden point is the best and must recommend 👌 - Ok so this will be a long review😅😅😅 first of all we were welcomed with a sweet drink after that the receptionist was over friendly and welcoming, after we moved in the room which was very spacious and comfy beds we then took a tour of the resort which we really liked alot, the main reason for the trip was we always travel places every year for a week to celebrate my mom's birthday and this time we chose golden point resort and I must say it was a great decision. On the small request Francis a lovely staff she planned everything and decorated the bure for the celebration, fransic was a sweetheart and I definitely say she needs a raise 😀 golden point have done its best at hiring best people for Customer Service In tourism industry, she even made our dinner entertaining plus dancing with us and not forgetting Rachelle the owner 😀 what a lovely lady, she also danced with us, I dont know why people leave bad reviews about Rachelle but she is completely different and sweetheart. She made us feel like we are at home. Not forgetting sheshna the head chef of golden point 👌 your food was amazing but especially the chocolate cake I must recommend that the cake to be named after you 😋 sheshna's delicious chocolate cake 🎂 thank you staff of golden point and the security guard as well, cant forget the late night talk with the guard and all the stories he had, he was amazing and we felt safe as well. Kiki and blondie love you and miss you as well 😘 the rescue dogs 🐕 they are also cute and loving missing them as well. Staying at golden point felt like staying at home and with family. Rachelle I must say you did a great work with the staff, food, stay and security plus you make the place even better. Thank you to security guard, head chef sheshna, Kiki and blondie, and Francis the lovely beautiful lady won't forget you 😘 and also all the other staff of golden point resort 😀 not forgetting Rachelle, very big thanks for having us and making my mums birthday special. CHEER I didnt liked that I had to leave golden point and say goodbye to them. Missing everyone 😢 especially Rachelle, Kiki, blondie, sheshna, the guard and Francis the sweetheart

• Amy (10/5): - The staff are exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and its so lovely to be somewhere and everyone is on first name basis. Great location, so quiet and relaxing, you can't help but feel relaxed. We didn't want to leave! There wasn't anything not to like for us, we had the best time.

• Christopher (10/5): Truly relaxing, beautiful, tasty food and warm staff. - A surprise hit. Warm staff and a relaxing environment. I wish we had more than one night. Talica & Bamba were so friendly, fun and gracious staff. Rachelle gave us VIP treatment and I promised her we'd return when we had more time. Fully recommended! I disliked having to leave. It was wonderful there.
• Carroll (1/5): Not good. - A couple of the staff members. Do not come here. First of all I would like to preface that I am already aware the response to this review will be them trying to blame us as they tend to try and do with all guests that leave a bad review although I am absolutely certain we were polite quiet guests that kept to ourselves. I arrived here after being assaulted by a man on the bus ride there, I was visibly upset and shaken up and had to give police statements while staying here. The owner was extremely overwhelming, asked us to lie and say we were leaving early so that she could complain and get reimbursed for the money she is missing out on even though we were not leaving early and it was non refundable anyway so she was just trying to scam for more money. She had seen me crying an awful lot and actually said "This is going to be a great case for tourism police". She went on to say how she would have kicked the man's head in. Later that night, a very drunk guest came up to me extremely creepily and tried to touch my hand, after what had happened to me that day which the owner knew about this was just uncomfortable. She just stood there and watched and did absolutely nothing. We later found out he had been disturbing some other women here too. It is entirely clear the owner does not care for the safety or wellbeing of anyone if it means she gets money. The room itself is fine. Some of the food we had was nice although it is overpriced for what it is. It's ridiculous. Simply asking for potatoe wedges instead of fries was too much. Just asking for a tiny bit more sauce they also charge for. They are stingy for the amount you get as well considering how much it is priced for. Water is also $8!?!?!?!?!?! The owner is pushy, intimidating, and publicly berates her employees. The pool is green with algae. They are extremely noisy late at night which is a nightmare as there isn't actual windows just shutters so it kept us up a lot at night.
