• Ingvild (9/5): - Fantastisk takterrasse med sol hele dagen. Romslig og luftig leilighet med to soverom og to bad! Hit hadde jeg veldig gjerne dratt tilbake til! Hadde ikke mottatt mail med informasjon om hvordan jeg skulle sjekke inn før ankomst og ventet 4 timer på stedet før jeg fikk info.

• Shaun (9/5): Fantastic, we loved it - We did see a few reviews that weren't great after booking and we were worried, but as soon as we got there we knew we had made the right choice, things like balcony furniture had been rectified with what looks like new balcony furniture, which was really nice and comfortable, incidentally as everyone has said the views are outstanding, with the sunrise in the morning looking towards the mountains to the sunset over the sea, it can be breezy on the balcony, but always somewhere you can be out of it and enjoying the sun, and quite private for sunbathing. The inside area was fabulous and well equipped we thought, the ceiling fans were an added comfort, (the fans are hidden in the light and open up). The beds were comfortable, although a bigger sheet for the mattress would be better as it becomes untucked a lot in the night, maybe a fitted sheet would be better. The kitchen was well-equipped with good appliances, ie toaster, air fryer, microwave, coffee maker, cooker etc The two shower rooms were great size, the only downside is that the hot water is limited, and it was just the two of us, so not sure how four would cope, but in all honesty, we didn't mind it. It's not on-site parking but very easy to park very close and most of the time outside the apartment. The outside areas group the swimming pools are very well kept and were cleaned every morning and looked very nice and were never too busy and can be used up to 10 p.m. There are some restaurants below which are very nice including a vegetarian restaurant, so yes there will be sounds in the evening of people talking and having meals if you have the windows open, we loved this, and it wasn't invasive or horrible. There are nice shops close by and more restaurants in the village/town. The beaches, well you are really going to struggle to beat them, they are beautiful, hence we come to El Cotillo a lot, it has a very peaceful vibe. These are very minor negatives and this didn't spoil our stay in any way! But maybe more of a suggestion. I think a bigger sheet or a fitted sheet would be better for the double bed mattress, so it doesn't come untucked in the night. Maybe some more breakfast bowls would be good for cereal as there was only one. The Internet seemed to be intermittent. But it didn't affect us, but it could maybe if you needed it. As we had a good signal on our phones. Again these were very minor and didn't spoil are stay

• Celine (5/5): Jolie vue mais mérité d être refait - La situation. Jolie vue Appartement vieillissant , propre mais pas entretenu Mériterai d’être refait , chaleur . Le ventilateur plafonnier ne fonctionne pas . Très bruyant mal isolé . Serviettes de mauvaise qualité . Aucun produits à l’arrivée pour les machines à laver . Très cher .
• Marta (10/5): Cudowny widok z tarasu, bliskość centrum, knajpek, plaża 1 minute od budynku - Taras i widok na ocean!!!! Świetna lokalizacja - piękny widok, wielki taras z grillem. Apartament bardzo wygodny, duży, przestronny. Bardzo dobre wyposażenie - był każdy sprzęt i każda rzecz jaka mogła by sie nam przydać. Dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Brak minusów - naprawdę bardzo wygodne mieszkanie.

• Julia (4/5): Average accommodation but at a 5* cost, far too expensive for what it was. - The location to town and the beach, the roof terrace and views. Chairs on roof were broken, broken parasol, broken plant pots, bird dirt on dining chairs, no key for pool for 3 days, wardrobes and drawers broken, no blind in small bedroom.

• Nicola (7/5): Fabulous for location and rooftop space - The rooftop outside area overlooking the beach is great. The location is very central and at the time of year we went you could get a parking space outside in the street ok. The restaurants bellow close up about 11pm so no problem with late noise. The property is a bit old with warm fittings but nothing that ruins the holiday. There is no guide or info book in the apartment .
• Jonas (3/5): Poor - The terrace. In short: too much problem with a deposit that was demanded outside of Booking. We spent hours trying to get full information (BIC and IBAN) to transfer a 150 EUR deposit before arrival, not getting all the info until we contacted our bank. Then it took a week to get the money back, they just kept stalling, saying they were “very, very busy” and would “pay tomorrow” and so on. They didn’t pay until we contacted Booking for help. Unprofessional and time-consuming. The apartment has a large terrace with a nice view, yes, but living room and bedrooms are very noisy from traffic outside. The apartment is also quite dark because you must have all the curtains drawn during the day or the sun will make the apartment very hot. Even with the curtains drawn it gets quite warm. You cannot access the pool from the house, instead you have to go outside on the street and around the block and enter by two locked gates. These are acceptable negatives, but the handling of the deposit is not. We should give it a 1 because of all the time we spent on the deposit, but we give it a 3 for the terrace. In summary: this is not a place we will come back to.
