• dendka95 (5/5): Good for short stay. Good location - I liked the location of the hostel. We stayed there for just one night to catch an early morning bus, so it worked well for us. We also enjoyed the common terrace on the top floor, especially the view in the evening. We chose the standard room, which doesn’t have a window. Because of that, the air didn’t feel very fresh, although the air conditioning helped a bit. I had expected it to be quieter without a window, but there was still some noise from devices like the fridge and the AC. For a short one-night stay, it was okay and quite clean. Just keep in mind that there’s no window, so you won’t get much fresh air.

Bien aménagé, décoré agréablement, cette chambre permet de passer deux ou trois nuits à Hanoï dans de très bonnes conditions, en étant dans un lieu calme et bien situé. Litterie confortable. Accueil dynamique, bienveillant et sympathique. Toute petite salle de bain, mais ce n'est pas un réel problème.

• Yaëlle (9/5): - L'hôte a été très disponible et se souciait de savoir si j'allais bien et si tout me convenait, elle a été très à l'écoute. La chambre est sobre mais confortable, et le rooftop est absolument merveilleux. J'ai aimé y passer ma première nuit vietnamienne !

• Marien (8/5): Prima voordelige plek op een volgens mij goede plek. - De locatie was prima. Ik had de goedkoopste kamer. Er was geen raam... Voordeel echter, het was er wel volkomen donker en rustig. Er zijn mooiere kamers hoor, dat scheelt maar weinig per nacht. Een prima voordelige locatie om te verblijven. De badkamer was even wennen... Klein, maar prima. Alles wordt nat als je gaat douchen maar dat is niet erg.

• Angela (6/5): Clean bedding and friendly base to stay. Location was great. The manager was very accommodating and let us leave our lug - It was very well located by the Lake. Lots of eating and coffee bars near by. Easy to get to Old Quarter by Grab or walking about 40 mins. Able to do laundry and staff very kind and helpful. No lift and shower very close to toilet. Keeps you fit but not so easy to the 5th floor with luggage.

В повній антисанітарії і роздовбаним номером в підвалі. Кращі номери з фото виявляється коштують в кілька разів більше і всі вони були зайняті коли я приїхав. В номері що був, жити небезпечно для здоров‘я, тому ми відмінили бронювання і пішли в інший готель.

• Lucie (7/5): Avis mitigé sur cet hôtel, mais bon rapport qualité prix - Anh a était d’une grande aide, dès que j’avais besoin d’un renseignement, elle me l’a donné. Elle s’est montrée très disponible. La vue est plutôt agréable, l’emplacement est plutôt bon, suivant les envies que l’on peu avoir. C’est plutôt calme ce qui permet de bien dormir. La salle de bain n’était pas très propre et il y avait une très forte odeur d’humidité dans la chambre. Le lave linge était quasiment tout le temps occupé (notamment par les draps des autres chambres) ce qui rends compliqué le lavage de ses effets personnels. Concernant la cuisine commune, elle est malheureusement très sale et peu hygiénique…

La salle de bain de ma chambre était défraîchie. La cage d'escaliers et la cuisine étaient vaguement propres, en n'y regardant pas de trop près.

• ESTER (4/5): No repetiria - El rooftop con vistas al lago. La ubicacion muy mejor alojarse aqui que en old quarter. Las cafeterias de esta zona y las calles muy bonitas. Se puede hacer chekin a la noche porque tiene codigo pa entrar en la puerta y te facilitan las instrucciones por wassap. Contestan rapido al wassap a todas las dudas. La habitacion estaba sucia. El baño minusculo. Las cortinas no cerraban por completo la ventana. Entraba mucha luz de los bares de fuera a la noche. Toda la noche estuvo sonando un ventilador o calentador que hay fuera en el balcon y se oia altisimo. Creo que tiene el precio muy elevado para lo que es la habitacion.

• Alexandra (8/5): - Great staff, location, the opportunity to use the kitchen and terrace with a beautiful view :) Thebathroom is pretty small, for us, ok, but it can be uncomfortable for someone. The kitchen and the terrace should be deeply cleaned from time to time. The tourists cleaned their dishes, but not the whole space, and it needed a bit of cleaning.

• Nguyễn (8/5): - Ngay bờ hồ Trúc Bạch, gần chợ và các điểm ăn uống, Phòng nhỏ nhưng sạch, ấm cúng, nhân viên lễ tân và cô tạp vụ vui vẻ nhiệt tình. Được sử dụng máy giặt, sấy , bếp nấu, tủ lạnh là điều mình rất thích. Có 2 view cà phê xinh xinh, lúc lười ra ngoài có thể pha 1 lý cà phê vừa uống vừa nhìn ra hồ và 8 chuyện thật tuyệt vời, có dip sẽ ghé lại !

• Leishen (9/5): Lovely hotel, good location - Staff were so lovely and helpful. Anh helped us with a different booking by calling the next hotel for us. Another lady offered me beer and peanuts while I was sitting in the common area. Facilities were good, we had access to a full kitchen and laundry. Location is great, lots of nice restaurants and shops in walkable distance A little more on the expensive side. Also no lifts/ elevators (our room and common room were on the 6th floor)

• Jen (4/5): Disappointing - Location, self check in. They gave us the wrong password, the room smelled of damp, fridge was dirty, the socket in the bathroom was broken and felt very hot at touch - they didn't advice this and I feel we would've received an electric shock if we plugged something in.

• Adam (5/5): Meh - Loved the location just off Truc Bach lake. The room was pretty grim. Tony bathroom. No windows. Grubby marks around the room. The door had a large gap on the bottom so easy to hear things in the corridor.
• Alessio (7/5): Alright but wouldn’t come again - Very inexpensive place with a a stunning view on the rooftop. Love that you can cook your food, especially great at the end of a tiring trip where you want to either boil some eggs and avoid having fried food everyday. Anh from the reception is lovely, she did everything she could to help me when I encountered some issues in the room and quickly gave me a new one. I also appreciated her quick response. There was some mould in the garden room I got assigned, and also in the second room. The rooms were not altogether thoroughly clean. Moreover, the rooms look too shiny on the pictures. It is better to invest a bit more money and get a proper hotel in the old quarter if you expect perfect cleanliness. If you choose a garden room with bamboo sticks in the background, it will be more noisy than isolated rooms on the other side, that are also darker so ensure a much better sleep.

When we returned to our room, she already brought in the room for their safety. The communication was perfect. The Autumn Homestel provides you with everything that is on the booking facilities. There is laundry, kitchen, water, some food in the kitchen and the location next to the lake is amazing.

• Jojo1307 (7/5): You get what you pay for - Awesome Location: Super close to the lake with tons of cafes and food spots nearby. The Old Quarter is about a 20-30 minute walk, or a Grab costs around 50k VND. Comfy Bed: The bed in room 302 was really comfortable, which made a huge difference after a long day out. Spacious Common Area: The common area was pretty roomy, and having a washing machine available was a nice bonus, especially for longer stays. Tiny Bathroom: The bathroom was really small, with the shower right over the toilet, and it could’ve been cleaner. Not Very Soundproof: The walls were pretty thin, so you might hear some noise. It didn’t bother us much, but light sleepers might want to keep that in mind. Stuffy Smell: There was a bit of a damp smell from the bathroom, possibly from the humidity. Looked Bigger in Photos: The room felt smaller than it seemed in the pictures, which was a bit disappointing.

I stayed first in the standard budget room, but it was too basic for me and didn't smell good, so I moved to the better (more expensive) room with the nice view and more spacious with the nice design. However, the other part of the hotel (with no view) is quiter. Just heads up if that's your priority. Lots of nice coffee shops in the area, more peaceful than the old quarter. However still some noise from the streets, but it's just the city, so if you want something very quiet you need to stay far away from the centre. Location is walking distance to the old quarter, so I was satisfied. Noise from the streets (but only in the early morning, during the night it's ok mor or less)

• Pooja (9/5): Superb - I absolutely loved our time in this charming homestay. This is located in the Quieter part of the city and is just a few kms away from Old Quarter Hanoi. The terrace has a great view of the lake and the kitchen utilities and laundry machine are at your disposal. Lan is a super helpful host and went out of her way to assist us with our queries and help make our stay more comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!
