Right out of the pages of Interior magazine , stunning and eclectic furnishings and art in a perfectly located area of Arcos in the historic centre . Lovely views from each room and a modern bathroom . Beautifully restored and fabulous hosts . We had two nights and should have booked four . we plan to return nothing

• Lucy (10/5): Restorative and really special - A truly wonderful stay! The property is right in the heart of the old town with a fantastic restaurant next door. The views from the bedroom were fabulous. The room was very well appointed, with high quality items including shower items. We had Massimo’s breakfast which we highly recommend - freshly baked bread, fresh fruit and yoghurt, delicious juice and homemade jams. We loved it here and would come back in an instant if we were in the area again. Nothing at all

L'hôte est très accueillant et tient à ce que vous passez un très bon séjour chez lui. Le petit-déjeuner est fait maison avec des produits de qualité, il fait lui même ses brioches et ses pains maisons et vous donnent des conseils pour vos visites. La literie est très confortable. Frühstück war sehr lecker, hätte etwas mehr sein können. Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut, ganz zentral. Und die Dachterasse ist wunderschön, üppig bepflanzt und man hat einen tollen Ausblick Das Frühstück war zwar sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, aber es hätte etwas mehr sein können. Ansonsten hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.

Massimo made us feel at home providing info from best places to park to great insight about Arcos and the other pueblos blancos. Also prepared an amazing breakfast with fresh and local produce. Room was spotless clean, very cozy and confortable and with breathtaking views. Location is right at the heart of old town. Building and room had a very nice decor. And on top of all these it was the cheapest acommodation throughout our 23 days tour of Spain. Wish we've could stayed longer

Der angenehme Raumduft nicht zu vergessen! Jedes Zimmer ist individuell gestaltet. Massimo und Sergio sind warme und herzliche Menschen, die den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich bereiten. Das Frühstück ist ein Muss: Highlight sind das selbstgebackene Brot & die Marmelade! Wir würden sofort wiederkommen: 10 von 10! La decoración es, sin duda, uno de sus grandes aciertos: combina el encanto de una casa antigua, con su carácter y autenticidad, con un delicado toque art nouveau que le aporta personalidad y elegancia sin perder calidez. El resultado es un espacio con identidad propia, muy cuidado y acogedor. El desayuno lo preparan Sergio y Massimo con el mayor cariño, pan recién hecho, zumo recién exprimido... La atención ha sido excelente en todo momento. Siempre atentos, cercanos y dispuestos a ayudar, lo que hace que la estancia sea aún más agradable. La ducha es estupenda, amplia y con muy buena presión de agua, perfecta para relajarse después de recorrer el pueblo. Y la cama, realmente cómoda. Ambas cosas son detalles que apreciamos mucho... En definitiva, un alojamiento con encanto, cuidado al detalle y con un trato impecable. Totalmente recomendable. Nada, todo estuvo fantástico.

Rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated (ours had a great view, too!), the host is the kindest person and extremely helpful, and the breakfast is very tasty. The place is located right at the entrance to the old city, so you can easily walk to all the interesting sites. A 5-star experience all around!

This is one of these places where everything is so well-thought out: the rooms are stunning and spotless, the beds are comfy, the bath products are of the highest quality, there’s a roof terrace and a balcony, etc etc. But the greatest aspect of the place was our host: Massimo. He is just a gorgeous person inside and out. He goes above and beyond, is incredibly knowledgable about, not only Andalusia, but other regions of Spain, and has such a warm presence that you feel at home right away. The breakfast that Massimo provides is done with such care, he bakes his own bread, magdalenas, and preserves, and grinds you some fresh coffee in the mornings. It’s a level of hospitality that you could never expect. We loved absolutely everything about Casa Rural Botanico. It’s perfectly situated in the old town of Arcos and for exploring the surrounding Pueblos Blancos and the national park. Nada!

• Gijsbert (10/5): Vriendelijke gastheer, mooie kamer op een unieke locatie. - De combinatie van een vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer Masimo met een keurige kamer op een perfecte locatie in de oude stad maakte ons verblijf meer als de moeite waard. Het is echt een huis uit de oude tijd wat met zorg is ingericht door een combinatie van oud en nieuw. Wij hadden de kamer met 2-persoonsbed met uitzicht op het dal. De matras leek in eerste instantie zacht maar op het moment dat je ging liggen voegde deze zich helemaal naar mijn 95kg lichaam. Heerlijk geslapen en verwend met een goed verzorgd ontbijt. • Douglas (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel in old town. - We had a great stay at the charming Hotel Botanica, a boutique hotel in Arcos de la Frontera. The rooms were spotless and full of creative touches. Massimo, the proprietor and renovator of the hotel, was exceptionally welcoming and had helpful recommendations for us. We recommend the breakfast offered by the hotel, which included local items and was delicious. The hotel has an artistic vibe, with décor, books, and artwork that make the atmosphere feel inclusive and expressive. It adds to the sense that this is not a cookie‑cutter hotel, but a place with its own story and identity. As with many spots in the old town, parking was about a 10 minute walk away, though we were able to park temporarily pull uphill from the hotel and drop off our bags, which made everything easy. Overall, it was a unique and memorable stay in a beautiful hilltop town with incredible views and history. Parking offsite is a bit challenging, but expected in any old town setting.

Our room was very comfortable with access to a great common area and rooftop patio full of plants. Mossimo, our host was very friendly and provided a nice breakfast. He also gave us a history of the home renovation which was fascinating. We would highly recommend this property.

• Thomas Kts (10/5): Top aesthetics stay in historical center of Arcos de la Frontera, the most welcoming host in Spain. - It is an amazing place to stay, in the heart of the historic center in the Arcos de la Frontera, just few meters away from the main attraction - Basílica de Santa María. Top experience, the most welcoming host in Spain. Top aesthetics place to spend the nights. The breakfast is hand made! Nothing at all. I would recommend anybody to stay there, the reality is even more warm and nice.

Sehr freundlicher Eigentümer, der ein perfektes Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten selbst herstellt, die wunderschöne Dachterrasse darf ebenfalls benutzt werden , ein absolutes Highlight für den Sonnenuntergang! Die Lage ganz zentral , keine Lärmbelästigung und eine öffentliche Tiefgarage ist fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Zusätzlich bekommt der Gast hilfreiche Informationen über Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Ein wunderschöner Platz und Ort - da kommt man gerne wieder!

Het is een prachtig huis dat perfect verbouwd is en net veel liefde ingericht is. Het uitzicht en ook het dakterras, vol met mooie verzorgde planten, is fantastisch. Het ontbijt is ook uitstekend, wordt geserveerd met lokale producten. Je wordt enorm gastvrij ontvangen. Dit is echt een topper! Er is geen enkel punt te benoemen wat niet bevalt.

• drew (10/5): Wonderful. - This is why you travel- these hosts have poured their hearts out renovating a beautiful old building and giving it new life with fabulous touches. The breakfast was all hand made and delicious. There’s a hotel discount at the main parking structure if you get the ticket stamped at the hotel. Massimo even gave us a wonderful recommendation for ice cream in Cadiz our next stop. Just book this place and enjoy browsing the art and the genuine hospitality. It’s less than a 5 minute walk from everything you want to see in the town. Highest marks. Nothing

L’hôte est très sympathique et accueillant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner, savoureux et raffiné, est un vrai régal. Je recommande vivement !
• Luis (10/5): Un havre de paix - L'accueil de Massimo était très chaleureux. Il nous a raconté l'histoire de sa merveilleuse maison. Les pièces de vie commune sont agréables et très bien décorées de meubles et lampadaires design et d'objets chinés. La terrasse sur le toit, propose du mobilier pour se poser et a une vue à couper le souffle. Elle offre une immersion aux milieux des plantes et des fleurs omniprésentes. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, tout est fait maison, que ce soit le pain, la brioche ou les confitures, .. un délice !

• Marc (8/5): Great place ro stay in Arcos - Very attentive and friendly hotel manager. Great place to stay in the very heart of old city. Roof terras. Enjoyed healthy breakfast with other guests. Waterboiler, coffee and tea in room. Place to return to. Nothing in particular. Semana Santa was everywhere at anytime.
• Melinda (10/5): Lovely stay! - We had a delightful stay at Botánico Casa Rural. Our hosts, Sergio and Massimo, made us feel right at home and were available to answer any questions we had. The accommodation is well located, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Quality toiletries were a nice touch. We opted for breakfast (€10 pp), which was excellent - local and/or homemade bread, preserves, sweets, cheese, ham, fruit & yogurt, with orange juice and coffee. A paid underground parking garage is a 10 minute walk away and there are a several good dinner options within a block or two. Highly recommend staying here for a visit to Arcos de la Frontera! Nothing

• Bryan (10/5): Good choice for Arcos de la Frontera - This is an updated, renovated beautiful place to stay in a historic old house. The decor is artfully done and the hosts are wonderful. The location is in the old part of town with lots of bars and restaurants. Excellent overall!
• Nicol (9/5): - La ubicación, la limpieza, los desayunos ( aunque un poco caros) y el exquisito trato de Massimo. Las escaleras para acceder a la vivienda y a la habitación y el poco espacio de la habitación.
