• Peita (9/5): - This beautiful property is in an excellent location, we walked out for our coffee each morning and there were so many options. The rooms were lovely and very clean with nice sheets and beds. The ducted heating was a fantastic addition and the kitchen is well appointed with coffee pod machine and great appliances. Everything has been so considered even down to hooks on the back of the doors! We loved our stay here. The en-suite bathroom was quite slippery, the banquette was difficult to use and the lounge/dining could have been a bit cleaner ( although the rest of the house was perfect). The back door lock was very hard to use. These were only small issues we would stay here again as it was a beautiful property.

• Genevieve (8/5): Beach House is a clean and comfortable home away from home and can sleep up to ten guests. - The house was beautifully renovated, resulting in a clean, sunny and bright holiday house. The kitchen was fully equipped and had many extras including coffee pods. The built-in bench/banquette seating was uncomfortable and difficult to climb in and out of, particularly for 6 over 60ies.

• Janine (8/5): - The house itself which is still being completed by the looks of the outside, is a real credit to the owners. A lot of time and money has gone into it and while clearly aimed towards families, is fine for just adults as well. Close enough to town to walk everywhere and we all liked the information file and photo album of the houses progress. The air conditioner which can be individually altered for each room was brilliant as different ladies required different temperatures. The tile in the main bedrooms bathroom is a bit slippery as one older guest slipped and fell while in a bit of a rush. The extremely large table and bench chairs are a bit hard to move so that it's close enough to use for both sides. While it looks great, it's not practical. The door on the main bathroom has a lock but it does not work. The single beds were rather odd. High and hard and not in a good way.

• Philippa (8/5): 4 comfortable bedrooms, and even the singles had good mattresses. Spacious rooms and plenty of space - The kitchen was generously equipped and house comfortable. I'd book here again, definitely. House was very cold when we arrived and it took a couple of hours to warm it up. Once that happened, it was comfortable. Perhaps the heat pump could be put on prior to guests' arrival on a cold day, but this is not a complaint.
• Angela (9/5): Lovely stay in beautiful home in Bicheno! - Beautifully renovated home in Bicheno with a great location. The house was tastefully decorated, and the large, well-equipped kitchen and living area made it perfect for entertaining a group. All the appliances and facilities were top tier, and check-in and check-out was easy with good communication from the hosts. The beds were comfortable, and most rooms were spacious. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bicheno — we would love to stay again! The only minor downside was that the single room was a bit small for two people - but it didn’t detract from the overall experience.

• Megan (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely house, bright and clean, excellent location close to shops and good places to eat and drink, as well as walkable to the beach and pleasant walks. There were also nice touches such as tea and coffee, milk in the fridge, and toiletries in the bathrooms, which were much appreciated. Highly recommended and would readily return. Would have liked some taller hanging space for hanging clothes, but the dressers/chests of drawers were lovely and a reasonable alternative.

• Vicki (9/5): Wonderful. - The location was fantastic. Accomodation was very comfortable & had everything we needed. Just a washing line & pegs were missing but have now been purchased. A permanent line could be attached to the house to pull out or room would be available out the back to put up. You may also need some more good quality pegs. A wonderful stay with my parents. Maybe some curtains in the sunroom at the front of the house for a little privacy from the main road.

• Henri (10/5): Fantastic family home in the centre of Bicheno. - Excellent, modern spacious property close to everything in Bicheno. Comfortably sleeps 7 or more people. Very well stocked with appliances etc.
• Frankeey (9/5): Elegant and modern house - Central location. Walking distance to shops and businesses in the town centre. Beautifully renovated. We appreciated and enjoyed the high-quality furnishing and appliances in the house. The dining benches were uncomfortable and unpractical. Everyone had at least a bruise from getting in and out of them. There was no dryer available, and the portable clothes rack provided was too small for the large-capacity washing machine. Some pegs and a outdoor clothes line would be better.

Lack of privacy - no blinds/ curtains in living room or little room that you walk through to get between the main bedroom and ensuite - felt like a fish bowl and bit creepy at night.

• Annemaree (8/5): Lovely house in a great little town. - Best equipped kitchen I have ever seen - loved it Oddly, but beautifully renovated place. A huge glass window (with no curtains or blinds) allows people to see straight into the house from the main road through town. Via the room with the big glass window is the only access to an ensuite, you can wave to passes by as you go to and from the shower. And while there is frosted glass in the ensuite, it is also viewable from outside the property.
• Rheece (10/5): Lovely home - It was a beautiful little house with plenty of space and beds. The kitchen was gorgeous and easy to use, the bathrooms looked very nice and the shower had good pressures, the living room was comfortable to fit everyone and the dining table was giant! Very close to everything, just a short stroll to the shops and little walking tracks! Not a big deal, but the outside bins were almost completely full when we arrived.

• Bee (9/5): We felt just like at home! - very spacious, good for group of ten! kitchen was totally awesome! Even though we only stayed a night, we managed to cook dinner and prep breakfast. well renovated and beds were so comfortable. The pillows were not ideal, either too flat or too high. Also the wifi router was down and we couldn't get it reset. but since it was only one night, we didn't want to trouble the host further.
