• WENQING (10/5): high recommend - The room is so valued for staying a long holiday in th reasons: the convenient transportation, the unique view of the house and the enthusiasm host. The transportation is really convenient especially for people like me who have a solo trip. If you wanna go to these famous travelling spots, such as Jardín de Cactus, Playa Blanco and even Airport, in the island, you only need 12 mins to walk to the bus station. Regard with the unique view of the house, I mean both the decoration of the house and the location of the house. At the very beginning I was introduced in the house by another guest, but the house told me how vivid and energetic the holster is from every detail in the house—the living plants, the combination of colours on wall and furniture. I am a person into glowing color so I fell in love with the Casa in the second while I entered it. I have no doubt that the designation of the house will impact on me while I have my own house. So highly recommend! Host Fiona and little puppy Gigi are so nice and warm! Fiona is very generous and kind. She provided so much detailed assistance for me. On the first day I arrived, I still had a stomachache, and she was so gentle—she even tried to cook some rice for me to help me adjust. She also introduced me to other guests, and that’s how I met Cristina and got company to go to the beach. 🥺Gigi is also a lovely and gentle boy. When he sees you, he rushes in front of you but doesn’t hurt you—he just wants to welcome you. Once I tried feeding him some fruit from my hand, oh my god, he was so gentle that I couldn’t even feel his teeth. I really wanted to steal Gigi and take him back to my home! 😝😝😝

• Christian (10/5): Mejorando la experiencia del viaje - El desayuno te preparas cómodamente en la cocina y lo disfrutas saliendo a la terraza. Después de un día explorando la isla descansas cenando en uno de los restaurantes del Charco ( también encuentras buenos helados por allí ) que está a unos pasos de Charco Rooms o vuelves a la tranquilidad de la terraza. Siempre había un momento para una conversación amena con Fiona y Kike que te hacen sentir como en casa. Me gustaron mucho esos seis días en Lanzarote y haber tenido Charco Rooms como base forma parte del recuerdo y seguramente mejoró aún más la experiencia del viaje. Estaba todo perfecto.

• Ariane (10/5): Maison confortable et pratique! - Cet établissement est super, vous ne serez pas déçu! La maison est belle, les chambres et pièces communes sont charmantes. La cuisine est pratique et le balcon est très agréables pour manger ou relaxer. Les lits sont grands et confortables. Kike est très accueillant et disponible pour donner des conseils ou aider. L’emplacement est super, près de la marina, et il y a des stationnements gratuits à quelques minutes de marche. Je recommande!

• Malcolm (2/5): Didn't feel comfortable or welcome. - It was clean. Being polite to your guests is fundamental in running a good establishment, if you can't do that then expect negative feedback for his alone. I couldn't find the door to the place as there were no clear signs that it was the right place, and when I found it, I couldn't work out how to get in as there was no apparent buzzer or pin code box. I had to ask twice for the Wi-Fi code before I was sent it. We were told rather rudely to be quiet when I was trying to ask a fellow guest for the Wi-Fi password. A polite request would have been so much nicer. Felt unwelcome there from the beginning and it was remarked upon as to why I was only staying one night. I'm certainly glad I didn't stay any longer.

• naima (10/5): Tout est parfait pour passer un superbe séjour - Un immense merci à Fiona et Enrique pour leur accueil exceptionnel. Ce sont des hôtes d’une gentillesse rare, avec qui on se sent immédiatement en confiance. J’ai eu l’impression d’être reçue comme par ma famille, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. La maison est magnifique, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, très propre et parfaitement entretenue. On remarque aussi une délicieuse odeur partout dans la maison, ce qui donne une sensation immédiate de bien-être. L’emplacement est idéal : situé dans la capitale, dans un quartier vivant et agréable, avec des places de parking à proximité. Le centre-ville ainsi que la mer sont accessibles en moins de 10 minutes à pied. Supermarchés et centre commercial se trouvent également à quelques minutes à pied. Il y a vraiment tout ce qu’il faut autour. Encore merci à Fiona et Enrique pour leur gentillesse, et une douce caresse à Gigi, qui est plus qu’adorable ❤️ Je recommande les yeux fermés ! Rien

• 窦 (10/5): It’s the sweetest experience to live there - The hosts are very nice. I stayed here by myself. Before I arrived, I messaged Fiona and her husband Ki Ke to let them know what time I’d get there, and they were so warm and welcoming. They also have a big dog named Gee Gee, and I immediately felt at home. The location is perfect. It’s super close to the beach, with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, in a nice residential area of Arrecife. The house has three floors and two terraces where you can watch the sunset and have coffee. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless and beautifully decorated. You can really tell the hosts love their home and take good care of it. Best of all, they’re such kind people. My trip wasn’t going great — my phone suddenly stopped working. They lent me an old iPhone to use, helped me figure out what to do, drove me to Open Mall to get it fixed, and even gave me a ride to the airport at the end. Staying at this place with these hosts was definitely the best part of my whole trip! None. Everything about this stay is sooo nice
• Noel (10/5): A warm welcome for travellers in Lanzarote in a comfortable relaxed house right beside the sea. - This was my fourth accommodation on Lanzarote and by far the best and most enjoyable stay I’ve had. The guesthouse is in the best location in Arrecife. Just one street back from frontline on the lovely harbour area filled with fabulous restaurants and cafes. You get a view of the sea from the various balconies. The room was very comfortable and it had a large double bed with nice linen and comfortable pillows ensuring a great nights sleep. However the best thing about el Charco rooms was the fabulous hosts, Fiona and Kiki who went out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay. They are warm, friendly and kind. I was even offered a beautiful fish dinner on my first night. After that we were joined on the balcony by another solo traveller, a woman from Switzerland where we had a most enjoyable evening having a glass or wine and chatting the night away. A very special accommodation. I can only give a score of 10. Anything else would be wrong. Perfect place for solo travellers. Nothing. Everything was great.

The location is excellent and very close to the coast, beaches and amenieties. Fiona was such a good host, checking in to make sure i have everything I need. • ADAM (8/5): Maison d'hôtes très bien située à Arrecife - La maison d'hôtes est très bien placée. Elle est à proximité des commerces et des restaurants. Il y a un petit marché le samedi matin à côté de l'église. J'y suis resté pour deux nuits. On peut aisément y passer ces vacances. D'Arrecife, on peut aller partout sur Lanzarote en bus ou en voiture de location. N'hésitez pas à faire un saut à la Caleta de Famara et visiter la fondation Cesar Manrique.
• Laurence (10/5): Une maison accueillante et impeccable. - J'ai été merveilleusement accueillie par Fiona à mon arrivée dans le logement, cela m'a mis en confiance et m'a permis avoir l'impression que j'étais à la maison! J'ai eu la chance d'avoir le seule chambre qui donnait sur la rue (une jolie impasse calme) les autres donnant sur le patio couvert (et bien décoré). Tout était bien arrangé, de la chambre (comme une chambre d'hôtel 3 étoiles avec meubles fonctionnels et déco marine plus literie impeccable!) à la cuisine adorable et bien équipée qui donnait sur la terrasse. Une autre terrasse au-dessus permettait de voir le Charco San Gines et la mer, et il faut voir le lever du soleil là! C'était un peu cher pour mon budget, je n'aurais pas pu rester plus longtemps (je m'attends quand même à un peu moins cher pour une chambre d'hôte.)

Außerdem gibt es noch den freundlichen und verspielten Haushund Gigi, der immer gute Laune hat. Alles prima

• Pan (10/5): Overall, a warm, comfortable stay with wonderful hosts. I’d happily stay here again. - The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. When I arrived in Lanzarote, they helped arrange someone to pick me up from the airport, which made everything so much easier. When I was leaving, they also kindly called a taxi for me, since I don’t speak Spanish. I even forgot to bring my facial cleanser, and they were so nice to lend me one. They also have two very sweet, well-behaved dogs — really cute and friendly. The place is great value for money, very affordable for what you get, and the location is excellent — close to the sea and restaurants, very convenient. On top of that, the homemade muffins were delicious and such a nice touch.

• Veronica (9/5): Excellent hosts and a great location for visiting Arrecife - Very friendly and helpful multilingual hosts with two adorable and well behaved dogs. The room is small but comfortable. There's a nice terrace upstairs to eat breakfast on and guests have use of the kitchen. The street is just one block back from the Charco, lined with popular restaurants and bars, but it's a cul-de-sac, so very quiet even at the front of the house. A great location -- we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

It's a lovely house near numerous restaurants and cafes. It is a good budget option for Arrecife. Nothing, at this price, I cannot demand more.

• Gretel (10/5): Comfortable, clean, perfect hosts and location - Lovely hosts. As a solo traveler I truly enjoyed the chit chats with Kike. His and his wife’s hospitality is superb and their two dogs were lovely. I was with my dog as well and everything went smooth. The place was always spotless and the location was perfect (I had no car and could get around easily). Highly recommend and can’t thank enough Kike and Fiona for their hospitality. Nothing bad to say
