• Jonatan (8/5): - Está junto al embarcadero y tiene un balcón con vistas al río y al cerro Tortuguero. Te reciben con un zumo y te organizan excursiones allí mismo. Está a un paso de todo y el personal es muy amable.

• LATXAGUE (9/5): Une nuit à Tortuguero - L'hôtel est vraiment sur la rivière , c'est un cadre très beau, un coucher de soleil à la porte de sa chambre. Le personnel est attentif et souriant, réactif aux demandes d'organisation d'excursions, prodigue conseils et informations utiles,le bateau en provenance de la Pavona vous débarque directement devant votre chambre , bref il ne reste juste qu'à profiter deTortuguero. La localisation en plein cœur du village est idéale mais pour les puristes du calme apporte son lot de bruits. Nous avions un petit problème de pression d'eau dans la douche , signalé au bureau d'accueil... peut-être juste dû aux alimentations en eau...

• Eric (7/5): Great Place and Location, but noisy parties on weekends nearby - The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed a lot sitting on the patio and watching the busy riverside. Great tours are organized by the hotel (general CR tour tip: do not go during the day, it's just too hot for the animals to show up. Can absolutely recommend the early-morning-kajak/canoe-tour and night tour). We were concerned about moskitos, as the location is so close to the river, but this was not an issue. Some people in the reviews warn about the noise from the boats - this was not a problem at all, they're not that loud. However, on weekends, there's a very noisy party nearby - we couldn't sleep until 3am (we were warned by the reception about this and were handed ear plugs when checking in). We had a great stay here, but wouldn't come back on a weekend due to the party noise.

• Carolina (8/5): - Me gustó la habitación frente al río, con unos bancos muy bonitos para ver el atardecer. Estábamos en una habitación de 4 y la cama de arriba tenía una ventana al río, muy bonita. Un poco pequeña para compartir, difícil abrir las maleta. Había ruido de las barcas desde temprano pero nos daban tapones por lo que ayudaba bastante al descanso. Los tours ofrecidos no sólo en este alojamiento, sino en todo Tortuguero dejan mucho que desear, sobre todo el nocturno que fue el que hicimos, que parece que vas a ir al medio del Parque y estás pegado al pueblo, extremadamente caro para lo que es.

Por la noche, prepárate para escuchar constantemente el ruido de los motores de las lanchas porque esta el embarcadero justo abajo. De todas maneras, forma parte de la experiencia y la terraza con vistas al atardecer lo compensa!
• Miriam (3/5): Hotel con bonitas vistas pero muy descuidado - Destaco la amabilidad del personal y la terraza de la habitación, que tenía unas vistas muy bonitas. La habitación estaba sucia, el baño era muy incómodo, había muchísimo ruido tanto de día como de noche. Además, durante toda nuestra estancia había obras en el hotel y el ruido era insoportable. El wifi no funcionaba la mayor parte del tiempo. No lo recomendaría ni volvería.

• Tomas (10/5): Amazing place with lovely people - Waking up with animals coming near us is amazing. The people there are all nice and welcoming, easy to talk to. This stop was a great one, I recommend totally this place for any nature watchers ! :) Plus, even after we left they were still taking care of us, I thought I forgot my car keys there so they looked and relooked again to help us as much as they could. Thanks again and sorry for that !
• Jane (10/5): A 10 out of 10 stay - Location location location, just the absolute best place to be in Tortuguero. Right on the waterfront, we loved watching the daily activities from right outside our room. The staff here are just the best, the warmest welcome on arrival & we loved chatting to Gabriel about the wildlife, he was so friendly & kindly shared pictures with us of the wildlife we had seen. I would 100% stay here again & recommend Pura Natura to friends & family. Nothing, we loved it here. Our only regret was booking our activities with a different operator. We wished & would recommend booking your activities directly with Pura Natura as they run their own activities directly from the hotel riverfront.

• Rachel (10/5): The most stunning views in a cute little room perfect for a family - Wow! What can I say, this place is a little piece of heaven on earth. You pull up by boat to your destination, your room backs onto the lake as you view the last thing you see before you sleep and the first thing you see when you wake up. The rooms are small but very cleverly done, with a little upstairs area providing a second bed, perfect for our family. With coffee making facilities, a fridge, and plates to make snacks and a good shower ! Everyone was super helpful and Nathalia and Daniel were lovely! Thanks all for the most wonderful time in Tortugero It is noisy in the mornings with trips starting at 5.30 right outside your door! Luckily we still haven’t adjusted at all to times and we’re awake by 4.30am
• Francisco Javier (9/5): Excelente hotel para estancia en Tortuguero - El hotel tiene una ubicación inmejorable junto a la laguna de Tortuguero y a escasos metros de donde te dejan las barcas que te llevan al pueblo. Es muy tranquilo, la cama cómoda. El espacio del lavabo era muy pequeño. Podrían haberle quitado espacio a la ducha, que es muy grande, para dárselo al lavabo.

Der Geruch im Badezimmer war aufgrund eines WC-„Duft“steins äußerst unangenehm … Es weckte Erinnerungen an chemische Toiletten. Die Badezimmertüre durften wir immer nur sehr kurz offen haben, da der Geruch sich sofort im ganzen Zimmer verteilt hat. Die Lautstärke im Zimmer war furchtbar - Party ohne Ende bis tief in die Nacht…

• Claudia (8/5): Schön! Toller Balkon aber etwas laut - Der Balkon ist traumhaft, man könnte dort den ganzen Tag sitzen und das Treiben am Fluss beobachten. Alles ist in der Nähe, das Personal ist super - nett und hilfreich, auch spontan :) Es ist leider früh morgens sehr laut weil alle Boote dort abfahren, wer leichten Schlaf hat wird zwischen 5 und 6 schon geweckt.

• Daniel (9/5): Zentrale Lage mit schöner überdachter Terrasse - Sehr zentrale Lage mit herrlichem Blick aus der überdachten Terrasse auf den Fluss und den Regenwald. Auch die Zimmer sind zum Fluss ausgerichtet. Der Zugang zum Wasser wird nur von den Gästen genutzt; oder für die Ankunft und Abfahrt mit dem Boot. Sehr praktisch. Die Hotelmitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit und fast immer auch vor Ort. Die Morgen- und Nachttour, die mit angeboten wurden, waren ein echte Highlights. Ich empfehle für die Bootstour unbedingt ein Boot mit Paddel zu nehmen. So kann man in den Urwald einfahren und die Sumpflandschaft von innen bewundern. Eine Küche gibt es nicht, aber da Gäste kaum länger als zwei Tage bleiben, ist diese Ausstattung auch nicht unbedingt notwendig. Nahe dem Zentrum wurde jeden Abend unser drei Nächte von Sa bis Mo laute Musik bis 2 Uhr gespielt. Ob das nur wie bei uns in den Weihnachtsferien passiert, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Das Hotel kann nichts dafür. Ohrstöpsel wären aber hilfreich.

• Vincent (9/5): Good stay and tour operator - Great stay for your busy schedule in Tortuguero. The hotel is also a tour operator, so you can book everything with them. Room was good, but maybe could use a little refresh. It’s located on the main street, which means you are in a busy area. There was a lot of noice in the evening. Also having the tours start in front of your window at 5am in the morning every day is not the greatest.

Forte odeur d’humidité dans les chambres, beaucoup de bruit à cause de l’isolation (il est presque possible d’entendre la conversation des voisins de l’autre chambre) et la mauvaise connexion wifi. + ATTENTION sur booking il est mis qu’un petit déjeuner est possible cependant ce n’est pas le cas bien que le soda oasis soit super pour prendre le petit déjeuner il faut sortir de l’hébergement

• Mathilde Clou (10/5): Au coeur de l'expérience Tortuguero - Idéalement situé, le bateau depuis le parking vous pose sur l'avancée juste devant les chambres. Vous êtes au coeur de la petite ville. Vous pouvez booker des excursions pour le lendemain matin directement avec l'hôtel (je conseille celle qui est le plus tôt 5 ou 6h je ne sais plus pour voir un max d'animaux). La chambre était impeccable avec 2 lits confortables.
• Daniel (7/5): Für den Zimmerpreis ok - Schöne Lage,direkt am Wasser.Freundliche Mitarbeiter Ich bin vor der Tür umgeknickt und es war kein Mitarbeiter mehr um 19 Uhr erreichbar.Zum Glück hat sich dann unser Guide gekümmert.WiFi ging fast die ganze Zeit nicht.Es ist in der Unterkunft sehr laut.Die Boote fahren abends spät und morgens schon ganz früh.Wir hatten das Zimmer rechts außen,da befindet sich ein Kayak Unterstand,der nachts von Waschbären heimgesucht wird und morgens wird früh schon rumgekramt.

Die Guides hatten überragendes Wissen über Flora, Fauna und Geschichte des geschützten Parks. Für uns waren zwei Aktivitäten am Tag sehr gut, denn die meisten Wanderungen etc. dauern zwei Stunden! Nich gefallen haben mir die vielen, lauten Motorboote. Da wünsche ich mir Elektromotoren

• Gabriela (8/5): Excelente ubicación y atención - Conveniencia en Tortuguero - La ubicación es excelente, ya que hotel se encuentra ubicado a la par de puerto principal en el pueblo de Tortuguero. Los tours que contratamos fueron bastante temprano y todos salían del puerto que estaba frente al hotel, así que fue excelente. Desde la habitación teníamos una pequeña terraza donde podíamos mirar el lago, lo cual era muy lindo. La cama y las almohadas muy cómodas, es de los pocos hoteles que tiene aire acondicionado y además contaba con aire acondicionado. Cuenta con refri, platos etc, lo cual es cómodo. La atención del personal fue excelente, siempre muy amables y simpáticas. El baño lastimosamente es bastante incómodo, en especial el lavamanos ya que con costos podía utilizarse ya que está acomodamos de forma muy incómoda y es pequeño. La habitación al tener dos camas deja muy poco espacio para transitar, recomendaría mejor dejar solo 1 o tener una matrimonial y una individual para poder circular bien.

• manuel (7/5): - Cerca de la entrada al parque nacional de tortuguero y enfrente del canal. Muy ruidoso sobre todo al amanecer. Organizan excursiones a los canales que salen a las 6 de la mañana, y desde las 5 ya se oyen voces, y lo peor es que son de trabajadores y travajadoras del hotel. No es entendible que despierten a todo el hotel a Washington horas. También tienen un problema con el olor de los baños, ya que creo que con las lluvias la fosa séptica tiene problemas.

• Noah (9/5): Amazing staff, amazing place - Amazing place, with beautiful views of the national park of Tortuguero. The hotel is in close proximity to the shopping street of Tortuguero. Natalia made our stay even more amazing, she was very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome. /
• Michele (7/5): Location pazzesca, per una notte più che buonoprmettendo che a Tortuguero la camera ti serve solo appoggio viso le attiv - Sicuramente la posizione. Al tramonto hai una vista pazzesca sulla laguna. La mia era una stanza da 4, abbastanza stretta. Il secondo letto sul soppalco era ai limiti della claustrofobia.

• Leen (9/5): Tof hotel aan het water! - Zalig hotel aan het water. Makkelijk dat je hier ook ineens alle tours kan boeken. Het nadeel is dat je vanaf half 6 wakker bent omdat ze dan de boten voor de kanotocht beginnen klaar te maken.

• José (10/5): Exceptionnel - La vue du balcon donnant sur la rivière est exceptionnelle et le petit balcon est très agréable. On peut s’y prélasser et même y manger ce qu’on a soi-même amené (il y a de quoi faire du café mais pas de coin-cuisine). La douche est très bien. Personnel très agréable mais ça c’est habituel au Costa Rica. Rien, sauf peut-être que la chambre est un peu petite mais c’est compensé par le balcon.

• Marina (9/5): Buena ubicación para disfrutar de Tortuguero - Muy bien situado. La habitación es cómoda, algo pequeña pero suficiente (y acorde al pueblo), y el balcón es de lo más agradable. El mismo hotel te organiza tours y actividades. Baño un poco estrecho.

La reservada tenía dos alturas y las cuatro personas que nos alojábamos hubiéramos tenido más espacio e intimidad, en vez de ello nos dieron una habitación simple con dos camas de matrimonio pegadas y sin casi espacio para pasar por al lado. El baño también era horrible, sin espacio en el lavamanos y la ducha sin potencia
