- Rangan (10/5): Great Place, Great Hosts! - Angela & Dave were lovely hosts and helped us settle in very quickly!
- Gerry (8/5): A lovely peaceful place to stay. - Would have liked the option of a TV.
- Paul (9/5): This was a l - The breakfast facilities were just right. The property was clean, very comfortable, and quiet, indeed tranquil. Having a car, the location was excellent. . A small amount of washing powder would have been very useful!
- Margot (8/5): -
- Martin (8/5): - The husband was super friendly and relaxed, but his wife was a little aloof, instructing us to leave the place tidy when we left, rather than politely asking us to leave it tidy.
- John (8/5): -
- Nick (9/5): -
- Mark (8/5): -
- Robyn (8/5): - Lovely location, very peaceful and relaxing Gate was a bit tricky, but got used to it
- Katy (5/5): - Location
Quiet Water pressure of shower was so low.
Closet had a large TV and alot of storage of the owners in it. Freezer was full of their food too.
Dog wandered through our accommodation with the owner as she showed us around.
Owners can access the accommodation through a door they lock and no key was given.
- Gerard (5/5): - Beautiful location & surroundings. Could have been a very nice stay if interior was a little less shabby. A bit tired looking presentation. Old furniture especially dining table. No stowage in bathroom. Towels were in a basket in the kitchen.
- Steve (10/5): Brilliant - Lovely suite in an amazing location. We saw Kangaroos and Koalas.
- Allan (8/5): -
- Joseph (8/5): - Comfortable bed and cosy lounge space. No tv, although there was one that was being stored. We didnt have much time to ask about it.
- Jean (10/5): We enjoyed it - Very nice place to stay & very quiet location
- Mickan (8/5): Would be happy to recommend to friends. - Very nice picturesque place, kookaburras singing in the morning, very quiet with no traffic. Nothing to speak of.
- Foley (10/5): A lovely home - Clean, Quiet and Friendly ☀️ - Fantastic location, only 3 mins drive out of town, close to a beautiful walking trail that I enjoyed multiple times over the trip, lovely folks to stay with and a beautiful property! I would highly recommend it for a solo traveller or couple. The facilities are so clean and well kept, there's a little array of books to cuddle up with, teas and coffees and all the little touches to make it feel like you're truly a guest in a home. Angela and David made me feel incredibly welcome in between my romps around the countryside. Would love to come back again 🌿☀️🌳 Not Applicable - I had a fantastic time!
- Rebecca (7/5): Good -
- Catherine (10/5): We were very comfortable , contented, relaxed and would recommend this lovely b&b for any couple that would love to - It was in a quiet location, very picturesque and hosts were very polite and hospitable.
- Yogesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Great location and very comfortable accommodation. No TV
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharyn (7/5): Good -
- Pru (9/5): Superb - Very very clean, cosy place, helpful & friendly hosts, just what we wanted, after having lunch in Stirling.
We loved "Lola the dog" so cute, supervisor of visitors! Don't forget to shut the gate! I was struck with how the reality is heaps better than the photos. I suggested an upgrade if it could be done. Like a panorama from back door.
- Juliana (7/5): Beautiful location and environment but several inconveniences in the house. - Beautiful location and setting; outlook to the garden; charming design; quiet; light and airy, very private. As we arrived at dusk, instructions on precise location in these hills and windy roads needed to be very clear. Sign for property and entrance was very poor - far too small if one is driving in a car at dusk. We should have been for-warned re the dip in the driveway. It was only by chance that I found out because I had to ring the owner, if not, we could have seriously damaged the front of our car. Charming as the place was, it was very overcrowded with furnishngs and the kitchen needed a 4 pack extension chord for the main kitchen bench. Appliances sitting on top of the stove , very inconvenient. Instructions to induction cooktop should have been in the main Guest book, because not everyone has one! There was a fan in the bathroom/toilet but no switch!
There was a reverse cycle air-con in bedroom but in cold weather this would struggle to heat the living room and bathroom.
Scribbled instructions to Wi-fi etc unclear.
Breakfast was supplied but offerings were poor. If eggs are going to be supplied, they should come with bacon and tomato. If you are going to supply supermarket croissants, butter should be supplied, not margerine. So we did not make use of the breakfast. No cereal supplied. To make the most of this location, this place should be advertised as a minimum 2 night stay, otherwise the cost is not worth it.
- Pippa (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Tiburzio (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (4/5): not very functional - air con was good ,
fridge was excellent
comfortable bed
garden area nice
dog was cute on first entry the space looked great but...
1. no tv. but is in the 'facilities'
2. breakfast in room meant two slices basic bread each and butter, but no eggs or yoghurt or fruit. we did our own.
3. microwave had to be lifted out of bottom cupboard to use (luckily David did this for us but be wary ) .
4. tiny cooking area+
tiny sitting area at kitchen with no dining table. benchtops looked and felt like unfinished plywood - odd. tiny bathroom nowhere to place things.
5. fridge was excellent but freezer had no space as was full of leftovers etc. i see that a freezer is not mentioned in the facilities but be wary.
6. no door handle to bedroom so cant shut door properly.
7 no lock on the connecting door to the hosts so each have access to the others space which was odd
8. awkward tight gate entry - 3 point turn needed to exit. also needed another person to hold the gate out the way
9. outside light u need 2 ask the hosts to switch it on
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Geoffrey (9/5): Lovely area, lovely owners and beautiful weather - what Moore is there? - Beautiful area and blessedly quiet 😊 All good
- Merilyn (1/5): Poorly run, untidy, poorly signed B&B with a barking dog and nobody to greet you. - Nothing
No signage to say we had reached the right place
Nobody to greet us.
Place looked untidy and rundown
Not close to Stirling and surrounded by neighbours with trashy, dirty, untidy properties See above
We did not stay
- Dwardrop (9/5): Superb - It is in a nice quiet natural setting with a great outlook. The hosts, David and Ange, were very pleasant. The little unit was self contained, including a full sized oven, which suited us well and had its own parking area. For us the location was perfect as we had an early start the next day and were able to get away without disturbing anyone.
This was a perfect location if anyone is looking to do the "Breakfast with the Birds" tour at Cleland Wildlife Park which we would highly recommend to everyone. Great experience. It felt odd not having a TV but that's our issue.
- Chris (10/5): Fabulous ,great hosts, relaxing weekend will be back - Location and amenities Not enough dogs LOL
- Isherwood (9/5): Superb - Great location on teh edge of parkland
- Botha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (10/5): 10/10 - Absolutely fantastic accommodation! The room was spacious and clean, the location is absolutely fantastic! The property comes with its own driveway with secure under cover parking. Dave and Angela were absolutely lovely and extremely welcoming. Sitting outside in the morning listening to all the birds completely surrounded by nature was fantastic! We even had a visit from a koala and her baby! I honestly could not recommend this place any more and we would not hesitate for a second to return. Thanks so much!
