- Wolfgang (3/5): Leider nicht so wie erhofft. - Im Grundgenommen alles, aber unser Zimmer befand sich neben einer lärmintensiven Baustelle. Aufgrund des Lärms war die Terrasse nicht nutzbar, am 3. Tag haben wir ein anderes (sehr schönes Zimmer bezogen. Die Rezeption hat sich leider nicht sehr freundlich mit uns auseinandergesetzt. Alle Kellner waren überaus zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich!!! Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. S.0. Die Pools und Gärten machten keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Wir erwarten wegen der Zimmermissstände noch eine vernünftige Entschädigung vom Hotel.

Tolle 2 Zimmer. Restaurant und Service waren sehr gut . Sehr unangenehm, wenn man morgens feststellt, dass es kein Duschgel oder Shampoo gibt. Selbst nach Vorsprache wurde nichts hinterlegt. Ebenso wurde die tolle Terrasse erst am zweiten Tag gesäubert. Keine Entschuldigung, kein freies Frühstück oder ein Cocktail als kleine Entschädigung. Der Manager kümmere sich, hieß es und das Versprechen bei einer Wiederkehr besonderer Aufmerksamkeit. Der französische Eigentümer war zu der Zeit nicht anwesend…..

Wir hatten eine Villa mit Meerblick, es war fantastisch. Der Infinitiv Pool ist herrlich. Die ganze Anlage würde sich für den 4.Teil von White Lotus eignen. Auch architektonisch ein Juwel wie alles aufgebaut ist. Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Toll auch der Shuttle zum Privatstrand. Alles ist toll! Kleines Manko- das Frühstück wird serviert und Änderungen kosten. Hier würde ich mir von einem 5 Sterne Hotel mehr Flexibilität wünschen.

- Storr (7/5): Stunning views but variable service - Amazing views in the rooms and at the restaurant. Can’t match this location or beauty of the property. The beach facility is also a lovely bonus - a shuttle plus food and cocktails available down there. The restaurant and its staff let this place down. Staff are rude and unaccomodating. We stayed for 2 nights and were twice told that there was no space at the restaurant despite trying to book a reservation in the morning. Some facilities are tired and need updating. The chlorine levels at the pool were off so it left our swimwear stained. We asked for a kettle in our room to make baby formula but they didn’t have any.

The hotel claims five stars but in reality is an average three star property. Poor maintenance and outdated rooms being the main reasons for this The restaurant food is average and over priced. Poor cleanliness of the rooms. Overall, poor value for money.

- Diego (8/5): Una estancia agradable. - La atención en general de todos los colaboradores del lugar fue muy buena y atenta. La comida del restaurante estuvo muy sabrosa y las vistas desde el restaurante y la habitación espectaculares. Además, el silencio de la habitación y el sonido de los animales nocturnos hacen de las noches perfectas para el descanso. Aunque la playa queda lejos del Hotel, te llevan en transporte por un camino muy agradable y lleno de vegetación. Me encanta nadar en la playa y en este lugar no fue posible debido a que playa Caletas es sumanente rocosa.

Check in was easy and the staff were exceptional. The food at the restaurant was really good but expensive, but I guess you are paying for the view really. The infinity pool is stunning, made even more magical by the macaws that flew past twice! A wonderful hotel and would’ve loved to have stayed longer The resort is located on quite a lot of steep levels, but mostly accessible. There didn’t seem to be much parking available that we could see, but was fine for the one night we stayed.

- Hannah (9/5): Stunning views, amazing staff. Definitely go! - • the views are stunning • the pool is beautiful • staff so friendly and spoke great English • lovely spacious comfy room • wildlife! Interesting birds and monkeys in the resort • private beach is worth a visit too • food was good • breakfast not included, which made it much worse value for money and was an unexpected cost • the food service in the restaurant is consistently slow - at one breakfast we did need to ask for our juice three times, and one dinner we had to wait 10 mins for our bottle of wine. The view is great so it’s not a hardship but it did bring the overall score down. The pool bar was fast though

- Richard (3/5): Dreadful, took three days to recover from food poisoning - Clean well appointed rooms On arrival we were told that we could not book either of the restaurants for that night. After a 20 minute debate we were able to eat - in an uncrowded restaurant ie restaurant capacity greater than kitchen capacity- a failure of management. On the second night I received food poisoning from the food served in the top floor restaurant. I had returned the fish half eaten as I detected something wrong and they credited the bill. When reporting this the next morning I tried to explain to each of the four layers of staff I spoke to that my concern was an investigation of the kitchen and their suppliers so that the food poisoning was not repeated. Each increasingly senior staff member ignored my concern, clearly thinking my purpose was to get more off the bill rather than acknowledging the underlying issue. This is a failure of management. The staff were very pleasant and willing to listen but clearly not authorised to take action or even acknowledge the need for action.

- Stephen (10/5): We are already dreaming of our return. Villa Caletas is a special place - Villa Caletas is a very relaxing resort. We love staying here. The staff is magnificent - they are all so courteous and professional. It is so nice to see Adrian once again who always provides exceptional service! Breakfast was wonderful and we did several days of it and quality and service was perfect. We skipped dinners as we had appetizers one evening and did not care for them. Not saying that the dinners are not good, but based on the apps we tried we decided to forego on dinner.

- Jonathan (8/5): Beautiful hotel in amazing location - Absolutely stunning location, and lovely rooms, with friendly staff. The outlook from the infinity pool is second to none, and from our balcony we saw a stunning range of birdlife. We booked and prepaid a deluxe room with sea view, but on arrival were allocated a small dark room with tiny balcony facing the opposite side of the hotel room 32. After some discussion we were offered another room to match our requirements but it was an upgrade to a villa. Initially the hotel insisted that we should pay for this. I refused and they agreed to honour our booking.. Food is quite expensive and the beach (about 1 mile down the hill on a very rutted track) is very disappointing, unappealing for swimming. A kettle in the room would have been nice, we only had a filter coffee maker.

- Lutring (10/5): Exceptional - A real perl in the middle of the jungle on the Pacific ocean coast. The hotel and the restaurant are member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs. Owner and the general manager are drom France. They know haw real luxuary works and the crew are ready to fulfill this! Tucans, white face monkies, scarlet macaws are in the price 😁 I can not tell anything... For us everithing was perfect!

- Karol (5/5): Needs to improve customer service at the reception . - The beach facilities The customer service at the reception. I was celebrating my husband’s birthday and have specified that I wanted something special at the reception during the check in . At the end of the day nothing was special , the hotel promised me a fruit plate at the room and it didn’t happen . I called to reception and asked for that they told me it would be a piece of cake, I requested for the room and they took 1.5 hours to deliver it . The service received was such impersonal and My expectations from one 5 stars hotel were higher than the actually received.
- Roxana (8/5): It was a pleasant stay. - It was a quiet place. I love the view and nature around the room and restaurant. Bed was comfortable. I love to have a yacuzzi in the terrace of our room. I didn’t like to be in a pink room (23). Modern colors or light colors are better. The area around the beach needs to be updated. It looks like an abandoned place.
