• Holger (2/5): Lieber mehr ausgeben für eine Unterkunft - Also unschlagbar und wirklich empfehlenswert ist sicherlich die zentrale Lage welche ich auch als besten und einzigen positiven Punkt hervorheben kann. Man erreicht von der Unterkunft aus alle interessanten Dineg der Umgebung und es gibt eine gute Anbindung an das öffentliche Nahverkehrsnetz. Um es ganz vorsichtig zu formulieren darf man sich fragen ob es in Europa erlaubt wäre eine solche Unterkunft zu vermieten und der Begriff Unterkunft ist damit wohl auch falsch belegt. Ganz sicher gibt es in Deutschland kein Gefängnis das mit solch einer Zelle vor dem europäischen Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte auch nur eine Woche bestand hätte. Extrem kleiner Raum, keine Ablagemöglichkeiten und eher schmutzig. Nicht empfehlenwert.

• Levi (10/5): My family and I had a wonderful stay. The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful, and genuinely nice. - The location is excellent. Everything is within walking distance and easy to access The elevator often takes a while since it’s frequently in use by many guests.

För att hitta hit behöver du gå till vänster och sedan längst in i byggnaden och ta hissen till vänster. Du får först förbi ett par andra hissar, men dom är fel. Inget varmvatten.

• Edward (10/5): Perfectly located budget guesthouse, secure with good facilities and luggage storage - Not the original room I booked, but I was moved downstairs to another guesthouse, which didn't matter because it was just the same. Small, but great value, very secure. good facilities (fridge, microwave, drinking water, etc.). Perfect location in the heart of Kowloon. It was a hassle queuing up for the lifts (I mostly walked up), but that's Chungking Mansions for you!

Dwa łóżka i 50 cm przejscia. Łóżko z płyty i rzucony materac .Siedząc na toalecie możesz brać prysznic jednocześnie . Bardziej pasowało to na kwatery pracownicze niż na apartament. Wyglądało to przytłaczająco. Cena za noc 65Euro. By wjechać windą do apartamentu trzeba przejść przez szemrane centrum handlowe gdzie jesteś zaczepiany. Pozytywne komentarze poprzedników zupełnie niezrozumiałe ! Nie pozwólmy by coś takiego w przyszłości Nam wciskano !!! Zdjęcia niezgodne z rzeczywistością !

• Luke (6/5): Polarizing - The location is literally perfect. Right in the mix of everything in downtown Hong Kong. There were previous reviews about how difficult it is to find this property. I couldn’t agree more. It was SO frustrating locating the correct entrance/elevator/floor etc. I would NOT book with this property until the have clear instructions within the booking apps. I hardly ever leave reviews but this was memorably a nuisance trying to locate the entrance. Specifically late at night. Negative experience was offset by the great location

The location is good as well Again, there is nothing wrong with the room itself, but everything that surrounds it is ugly. The building is ugly and super dirty. I will never visit Hong Kong again. If you are thinking of visiting Hong Kong, you should rather visit mainland China instead

The host was incredibly kind and considerate, always accommodating our requests with a smile. One of the little things we truly appreciated was how they regularly refilled the candy jar for the kids—it was such a thoughtful touch! The room was cleaned every day, and the towels were replaced daily. Pinay po yung nag aasikaso don, and she was very attentive! Thanks to you ate. ❤️

• Don (10/5): Highly recommended for tourist on a budget! - I love the location! It was very accessible—just one bus ride from the airport and within walking distance to tourist areas, and our fave resto- cafe de coral was only 1 floor away. We are a family of 10 and rented three rooms: two triple rooms and one family room, with one of the triple rooms being upgraded to a family room free of charge. Though the rooms are small, we managed to fit because the kids are small. We appreciated the free amenities provided, such as drinking water, a hairdryer, a microwave, extension cords, a refrigerator, and complimentary coffee and candies. Ms. May was very accommodating and kind. I especially appreciated her gesture of fixing my mom's eyeglasses. She even went out late in the evening to buy a strong glue to mend them, and they are still holding up well. The lift was slow during busy hours, so we just needed to wake up early to avoid this

• Peter (7/5): Mixed feeling - Location: it is a positive and a negative aspect. Close to metro. Room was sort of clean. My luggage could be left at the place for the afternoon after checking out. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can use machine for hot and cold (room temperature) water. Coffee is available for free. It is hard to get up to the room, as only one elevator can be used, which might be busy. The area where you enter to the building is very busy with stange faces and with many cockroaches (I did not see cockroach in the room). Staircase is awful :( When I opened the window, stange smell was coming in.

It is really low budget stay, you'll get not so clean and comfortable bed, very small room without windows and bathroom which is, to be honest, extremely bad. It is cheap, but value-for-money is not applicable to this stay. I recommed finding another options.

• Harrison (10/5): A really good value place to explore Hong Kong from - The host is very kind, friendly and welcoming, and the place itself is perfect for a simple stay for a couple of nights. The location is superb, with proximity to airport connection by train, 25 minutes walk... and to the metro and the ferries, 10 minutes walk. Found it easily enough, after wrongly going upstairs into the mall next door first, but the entrance is literally at the pedestrian crossing... Then 50 metres inside on the left you will find the B block elevators... Two of them... The left one stops on floor 8, the other one stops at 7 and 9, and you then walk up or down the stairs to 8. Never waited more than a minute or two for being in the lift. Anyway, a really good value place to explore Hong Kong from.

• Mark (6/5): Space to lay your weary head… - Located right across Nathan Rd from the main shopping action in Kowloon, within easy walking distance of the MTR and Star Ferry piers. HK Museum of Art at the end of the street. There’s only one lift and it gets very busy ! So leave plenty of time when it’s check-out time and be prepared to use the stairs down at other times

• Sriram (10/5): Exceptional - Ideal location with lovely and helpful staff. Safe and secure place to stay with family. Clean facilities and does have a small communal kitchen for very basics (sink+tap, microwave and kettle, cutlery). The rooms were a bit small, but as expected for Hong Kong. Lifts were slow (only 1 lift servicing to the specific floor) and small. If travelling with large or many pieces of luggage it may take multiple trips and a while to get to the right floor.

• Jernymhel (10/5): It feels just like home! - What I like about the property is that it is very accessible and clean. They made sure to clean your room on a daily basis. The property also offered free coffee which is a plus for me as I love to sip a hot coffee in the morning. I also love the staff. Both Ms. May and Lily are very attentive to our needs and polite. They made sure that you’re comfortable and at is while you’re staying in Li Cheng Guesthouse. To he honest, this is my second stay in the property and I really enjoyed it here. If I have to be nit-picky, I would say the lift going to the property is a bit of a hassle as it is quite small.

• Zandri (4/5): Avoid ALL chungking mansion hotels - Check in was simple and the woman working was very nice. My window didn’t open. The shower head is right above the toilet. The room was extremely noisy. I could perfectly hear all the conversations going on around my room and in the hotel rooms adjacent to me. There are so many nooses coming from the building that I slept with my phone’s flashlight on the whole night. To get to the right floor, you need to stand in line for the ONE elevator that goes to that floor found in the first floor which located in what seems like a bustling shopping center run by needy people who will stare you down to make a purchase. This place is terrible. I was supposed to stay there for two nights but I didn’t. I slept at the airport my second night. There’s a Holiday Inn down the round. Take your monkey there if they have any availability.

• Kristelle (10/5): Great stay! Great value for money. - Very near to anywhere in Tsim Sha Tsui especially the MTR stations (2 stations of Nathan Road) and Bus stops. I love how accessible the place is. The property itself is secured and quiet - which we loved. We felt like it's home for the past 4 days we stayed here compared to the last one we stayed in. The managers are very helpful and accommodating. They always made sure that our room has brand new towels and the bathroom cleaned everyday. We don't have problems staying here so far. Highly recommended! A bit confusing if you will not read the directions inside the building (elevators were divided into blocks).

We enjoyed our stay. - Me and my family are very grateful for the warm welcome here in hongkong especially with the help of Miss Lili who were very kind and assisted us through our stay there. We appreciate the kindness and all the help. For 6 days spent here in this accomodation was indeed wonderful. The room is just right for 3 adults and 2 children. It is clean and always has a fresh beddings and towels. We had a smooth and great experience here. We hope to come back here soon. And sure would recommend to my friends.

• Anna (5/5): If your budget allows, take something else. - The ladies running this guesthouse were kind and helpful. Great location, just on the main street, close to metro and bus stops. The place is not something I enjoyed coming back to - super small (the toilet, shower and sink are all located at 1 square meter in the room and 2 people in 3 people room are a crowd), used, dirty, smelly and just a bit gross. Probably the worst value for money out of all my stays throughout the world.

• Erling (6/5): Mostly fine, great location, good value for money - Location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the Star Ferry/Avenue of Stars. Owner very cooperative - could check in early, keep my luggage etc. Room was very clean. The room was very small - guess that should be expected. Wifi was rather weak. Also note the exact address: there are at least a dozen guesthouses in the (otherwise also very busy) building, and finding the right one the first time may be a challenge. Often had to wait a long time (like 10 minutes, I think) for the elevator to arrive, and since the guesthouse is on the 8th floor walking isn't a very good alternative.
