• Isa (10/5): Un lugar maravilloso - Una experiencia maravillosa de principio a fin. El servicio destaca por su calidez y profesionalismo, mientras que las instalaciones reflejan un cuidado excepcional en cada detalle. La habitación, cómoda y cálida , invitaba al descanso absoluto. Sin duda, un lugar que supera expectativas y al que se desea volver.

• Pedro (4/5): MUY POCO SERIOS CON LAS TARIFAS - 1)Realice un pago por $69.020 y me entregaron una factura por $65.450, lo que no corresponde. 2)La tarifa publicada en cartel en la entrada indicaba $58.000.- La recepcionista indica que el precio a pagar es mas caro por la comisión de booking.com que no es culpa de ellos. Respuesta que no responde al porque tampoco no entregan la factura cumpliendo con el valor realmente pagado. Situación de extrema falta de cumplimiento con la normativa SII y poco seria (tres valores distintos para el mismo servicio)

Nos cobraron el 19% de IVA , que en otros hoteles de Chile presentando el papel que nos dan en aduana para ingresar y por ser extranjeros nos lo descontaban. Y le echaron la culpa a booking... que por contratar por booking se sumaba el impuesto. Y en otros hoteles a pesar de contratar por booking nos hicieron el descuento.

• Karin (8/5): - Elegí este hotel por la cercanía al terminal de buses y estación de trenes y está muy céntrico además, cerca del supermercado Lider y el Portal. Es un hotel muy lindo, se ve bastante nuevo, el comedor es grande y la habitación es grande también, la cama muy cómoda, las sábanas de hilo egipcio muy suaves al tacto. Quedé muy conforme. En la ducha había muy poca presión de agua por lo cual salía poca agua caliente lo cual hace que el cuerpo se enfríe rápidamente mientras uno se ducha. Había un olor extraño en el baño que salía de la zona donde está el sifón del lavamanos (habitación 207) para que lo revisen por favor. Tal vez hay acumulación de desperdicios que expelen el olor. En el desayuno no vi mermelada.

• Andrew (8/5): Very Clean Place with Great Staff - Close to Bus Station - I’ll start by saying the whole place is really clean! Public spaces, restaurant, hallway, room…all very clean! The staff are incredibly nice and attentive. When I arrived too early for check in, they happily stored all my bags. No english when I arrived -- translate apps worked -- but at check in time, Ignacio was there and spoke English…very nice and accommodating. When I first arrived — before I officially checked in — I asked if there was a nearby coffee shop. They directed me to their own, very clean, very empty, restaurant where Sergio took excellent care of me. He brought me a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, a piece of cake — excellent piece of cake — and refilled the coffee often. When I asked for the bill he said there was no charge…a little something for the guest between meals. Our first morning, breakfast was bowls of muesli and containers of yogurt, along with more cake. Sergio brought over coffee and tea and individual pans of scrambled eggs. He then smiled and brought out another plate. “Cake.” All was tasty and filling; I’m sure if we wanted more we would have gotten it. The second morning, a sandwich was added to all the other food. (There was no cake but they gave us flan instead ... just perfect.) The coffee was good, the food was fresh, and Sergio is a great host. Just to stress: the restaurant, the hallways, the lobby, and our room, were all very clean and our bed was very comfortable. We stayed in this hotel primarily because of the proximity to the bus station; it was an easy, 6-minute, walk there. It’s not the greatest neighborhood — we would not walk around, as tourists, at night — but at noon on a Saturday, we felt safe enough to walk to the bus station with all our bags. Tons of discounted shopping around . . . there’s a mall about a block and a half away, with a large supermarket downstairs, and the Plaza de Armas is only about a 10 minute walk. It’s a very clean place, though, and the staff are wonderful and attentive. We stayed in room 207, a large king bed room overlooking the street. The first night, it was pretty noisy from trucks collecting garbage or something like that. Ignacio, a wonderful concierge, told us that if was too noisy, he would happily move us to another room. We thought about it but, since we were only there one more night, and our stuff was all over the place, we decided to just live with it. That night, however, it was very quiet . . . it wasn’t an issue that second night. Still, if you’re sensitive to noise, you might take an ‘inside” room. Note: there are only three rooms with windows, that overlook that same street. All the others, all on the second floor, do not have windows but — I peaked at one of them — still look nice. In our room, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner was great and very quiet. Cons: There was no deadbolt on the door — a serious issue when traveling — and no do-not-disturb sign. There was a desk but no chair, no mini fridge or microwave, which is not that uncommon. It took a LONG time for hot water to reach the shower ... like 10 minutes ... almost as long to reach the sink! Once it arrived, it was hot and stayed hot. The only other issue was the smell in the bathroom…not what you’re thinking! It was like an old standing water smell coming from the tub and sink drains. We left the bathroom door ajar, when we went out, and when we came back, the whole room smelled terrible. The exhaust fan wasn’t working, that might have contributed to the problem. We told Ignacio at the front desk about it and he wrote it into the repair log and asked if he could send someone up that minute to fix it. (We were heading out so we asked him not to BUT his response to the issue was exactly what you want.) My Personal Pet Peeve Count: PRO: Light switch INSIDE bathroom so you don’t flood the room with light when you go at night; no translucent panels either; CON: No deadbolt on inside of door NEUTRAL: No “do not disturb” option
