Guest Reviews
- Alex (7/5): -
- Misha (7/5): Basic but adequate - A basic but adequate option conveniently located in the heart of Camden Town Only one serious flaw: ventilation in the bathroom was nonexistent. So after a day or two everything was moist and damp
- Stuart (8/5): -
- Holly (8/5): Clean tidy and best location - Location Location
- Chiavaroli (7/5): -
- Walters (7/5): - The way the shower was in bathroom
- Sreenivasulu (3/5): Average - Good heating and hot water Mainly bed. It’s not comfortable to sleep
- Joe (8/5): My stay was absolutely fantastic - It was ideal it was clean and in great condition also a very good location near to everything It was perfect for one person but for two it would be a bit small
- Wilf M (7/5): - Great location
- Gamble (7/5): Very small room but very clean, private and secure in a great location. - Having to go to Kings Cross first with all my luggage to pick up the keys is a pain.
- Michele (10/5): Camden apartment/room - Location excellent. The TV didn't have very good signal. Handle to shower tap broken.
Room very small
- Ayesha (4/5): -
- E (10/5): - Perfect location. Perfect price. The room layout and especially the shower/wet room was just right for me, being a solo disabled traveller
I definitely recommend I liked everything. I was surprised by it all!
- Roel (7/5): - Ligging dichtbij winkels en metro openbaar vervoer Bed. Douche
- Sean (8/5): - Good deal for the price.
Micro lavandino in bagno.
- Brendan (9/5): - Good central location for my needs and easy to get around for my days out for work Nothing
- Priscillia (2/5): -
- Tainty (1/5): Information is KEY! to running any business - Why isn't this studio flat like every other studio flat i've rented in as far as the keys are at the flat to collect in a secure box. The lack of information. ultimately i didn't even use the flat.
- Manuel (6/5): Sconsigliato - La posizione e l'insonorizzazione.
- Judith (7/5): - Location security cheap price Part of the shower tap fitting kept falling off.

- Appleyard (9/5): - The room was in the centre of Camden Town, and was newly decorated. I felt safe there as a sing traveller.
- melanie (8/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): Great location.clean. Good value - Small and convenient
- Robert (5/5): pricy for what it offers - The Best thing about this place is its location.
2 mn from the Subway, and at the very heart of Camden Street Didn't like to have to get the keys at the reception of a hotel in another subway station.
Not sound proof, I could hear snoring from the rooms next door.
- sara (10/5): - I Loved everything! Perfect place in a perfect location, right on Camden High St. ( My favourite place ever) . The place is very clean and it has everything you need. Having a microwave and a kettle was definitely a bonus.
Easy check in .
- DI (8/5): Basically satisfying - The location is convenient It’s in the camden high street so I worried about the safety when I come back late.
- Maxime (3/5): Given an expected, cumbersome and exhaustive run around just to key to a coffin tight room..! - The location, close to the tube station I had to go all the way to a tucked out hotel in Kings Cross whilst with 3 sets of luggage and back to room location again as I did not thought that this would require.
- Eon (1/5): Very bad I will not recommend - The location is great The need to be direct of the property I won’t recommend to no one wen I enter the toilet was durity urine was on the floor I fell like a prison I was so angry I haven’t take out my insurance on it I leave the next day could have not stay there
- Sepehr (6/5): - Locatie.
- LAWRENCE (3/5): - Location of the place It's absolutely unheard to go and pick keys from a different place that took 44mins ftom the airport. After that, youll do another ride for 26mins to get to the location. Never a right choice for an international visitor. Besides, you'll have to use the same beddings for as long as you stay there, nobody to change them or even do clean up. Bed size is so small and half of it useless as it's under a curved barrier. Apart from the choice location at Camden, everything is out of points. First and last time for me to lodge there based on my sad experience, particularly, the issues of key collection from different location!
- byrne (8/5): - Clean and tidy All good
- Eitan (4/5): The room was very small and cramped. not suitable for a couple. No separate kitchen space. - No cleaner came for 4 or 5 days
- Denis (1/5): -
- Ahmed (5/5): After I had got the keys from other hotel, I was satisfied after entering the room, I was very tired. - Bathroom is good and clean, WiFi is good No staff to ask him about some touristic issues.
Room key which was at other place, is a very bad idea.
- DONAL (9/5): - A nice clean comfortable studio. Great location
- Sian Emily (10/5): - Loved how close this place was to the station! It was clean and there were speciality tea upon arrival.
- Kevin (7/5): - Great location, easy check-in, very quiet despite the bussle of Camden just outside. Had to travel to another part of town (Kings Cross) to collect keys from another hotel which probably just needs clearly mentioning at the top of the advert.

- Petra (7/5): We were satisfied. - Good location - the accommodation is near the underground. The room was clean. Double bed could be bigger. Key collection is far from the accommodation. You can hear the underground.
- Swann (7/5): -
- Alicia (7/5): Awesome - Right in the heart of Camden There was confusion with picking up the key, and what room we were staying.
- Dione (1/5): Bad -
- Chioma (8/5): Camden Secret - Close to the tube. It is located in central London so it is very accessible. Good location. Lots of vibe and youthful energy in the area. Daily pop-up markets with great pricing. The rooms made maximum.um us of spacre The crowd in the area during the day and picking the keys from a different location.
- Heilman (1/5): Terrible. Do NOT stay at this accommodation. - I am very disappointed in the Camden Town Studios. The property was not as presented at all. There was black mold where you stand in the shower, the curtain rod and pipes for the sink were totally rusty, the walls were so thin I couldn’t go to sleep for hours and then was woken up very early as well because of hearing the neighbors and the subway underneath. Also, the neighborhood was scary. I did not feel comfortable staying there at all. I did not go out after I arrived, so my dinner was a granola bar that was in my backpack. I turned the keys back in this morning and found another place to stay because I couldn’t stay there the rest of my time in London. It was rated 7.8 when I booked it, but there’s no way it should receive a 7.8 rating. I definitely would not have booked with them if I knew what it was going to be like.
- Erica (10/5): Comfortable bed!! - The bed is so comfortable! You are provided with 3 comfortable pillows. It was a shoe box but it definitely did it's part. I would totally book there again. Keep I mind that you need to go to another place in order to get the keys. The place was tricky to find. Look for the start bucks . The fact that you have to go to another location to pick up the key.
- Indu (8/5): Nice room., small but comfortable. Not great staff. - Location great. Room air-conditioned and everything working perfectly. Fridge in room. Shower very clean. Bed very comfortable. The staff answering the phone are the worse I have ever dealt with. Rude. Unprofessional. Offers no advise. Talks over you when you are trying to explain something. Never listens to what you are saying. The man actually told me while I was on the phone trying to get information that I was wasting his time because he had people in front of him to deal with as if I were not also a customer who paid and required the same service as the ones who walked in.
Lots of confusion about getting in. Not easy navigating 5 entry doors. While I was entering another man were there and he also was not getting any of the keys to work on the 2nd door and only the unprofessionalism of the staff you try to get help from. They're not nice staff to deal with but the room is nice. It's small but very comfortable.
- Maria (7/5): Good - Good location in the centre of Camden town. Surprisingly quiet place. Very nice and helpful staff, I was able to leave my luggage before check-in. Thank you! :) Very small apartment and even smaller bathroom.
- Mohammad (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Antonia (8/5): Very small but ok for a short stay - Great location and quiet, although it is right in the middle of Camden. It was smaller than I thought
- Edward (7/5): Good -
- Stuart (7/5): Good -
- Keaurein (9/5): Worth it - Location was excellent and very cozy N/A
- Mwakina, (7/5): N/A - It was quiet It was tiny
- Misha (8/5): Recommended (but bring earplugs) - A perfectly located room/appartment when you seek a central place in Camden Town. Set a bit away from the main street, although you still might want to bring earplugs (see above).
The room may be a little cramped for two persons, but if you travel alone it's perfectly manageable. Hygienic standards were adequate all around. All things considered, a good choice if you visit Camden Town. The room is set back from the street and you won't be bothered by crowd noise. However, you WILL hear the tube going by under the building. So it's advisable to bring ear plugs
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Igor (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Mc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (10/5): The perfect stay - The room was perfect size for a single person. I had everything I needed to be comfortable in the evenings when I got back to my place after a whole day of sightseeing. It was so quiet that I never heard any of the street sounds even when I came back in the middle of the day one day. It was absolutely perfect
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Jason (6/5): Pleasant -
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, it was comfortable and clean , no complaints here Bit small but apart from that was great
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Ingólfur (8/5): Very good - The location was phenomenal and the room was tidy and cozy. The small bathroom didn't separate the shower and toilet/sink very well so it was quite wet in there after we took showers, but it wasn't too bad
- Dennis (8/5): Very good - Great location, very clean Very small, but good enough for a base for what we needed
- Ruslan (8/5): Good for a short stay in Camden - The property did meet my expectations and it was good for a short stay in Camden. Yes, the room is small and it is not the best accommodation in my life, but it simply fit to my plans and expectations. It is located in the heart of Camden and you always will be in the center of action, but the property has isolated from the chaos of the streets and you can actually rest there. I would say it is good place for 2-3 nights stay if you plan to visit some events in Camden. The ventilation in the bathroom doesn't work properly and the towels are always wet. Also, it would be nice to have some shower gel (yes, it costs only one pound in the closest store, but the absence of it surprised me after a long trip on arrival).
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elle (1/5): Do not book - BEWARE, DISGUSTING, MOULDY MIGRANT HOTEL. YOU WILL GET HIVES CAUSING SCARS THAT WILL NOT EVER GO AWAY. YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED!!!! I never got chance to stay here. I complained to booking.com, they sent complaint to owner who rejected the complaint and booking.com took their side. Therefore I never got to stay here, never got my money back, got traumatised by a disgusting replacement hotel and no doubt they will delete this review. Booking.com sent my complaint to the owners of this hotel, they REJECTED my complaint and therefore will not refund me. Do not book, not even for your enemies. You can not pay me any money to stay here ever again. Booked this but when we got to the hotel near King’s Cross to pick up the keys, the man at reception told us the apartment we booked had been flooded as previous guests left a tap running, so he said he’d send us to a different hotel. We were sent to European Hotel. The room was small and filthy. The mattress was stained, the sheets smelled musty, and mould on the window frames. Bathroom was small with mouldy grout, slime around the shower, hairs stuck to the tiles. The tap wouldn’t stop dripping, which made it hard to sleep. The door to the room felt insecure, there was an old half a bottle of wine in the drawer, which proved the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Furniture was falling apart, and the walls were so thin we could hear rhe banging and shouting from the next room. Not one off the guests staying here spoke English, except for 1 man who told us he left prison for raping 2 women. We were stared at by the men during our stay, the guests seemed to all be foreign men unable to speak English, we believe it was a hotel hosting migrants/asylum seekers. confirmed by our friends in London who knew the hotel. I broke out in hives and had to take antihistamines resulting in scarring that ispermanent. The first night we didn’t sleep at all but fire alarm going off at 6:30 AM on the second morning. Room was so hot and stuffy, but we couldn’t open the window for fresh air. Bugs were flying around as we tried to sleep, and noise from construction outside made it impossible to relax. Shower ran out of hot water after just a couple of minutes, and the TV was so small, pixelated, and had loose wires, making it unusable.
- Keith (7/5): Good - Comfortable
Good location
- Alexander (7/5): Good place for 1-2 nights only - Location is well, it is in few mins of Camden Market, grocery and Camden metro station, on the first floor is Starbucks, for the geeks there is will be comics shop and CeX with console games.
Property itself is clean, it is equipped with private bathroom, desk, microwave, tv, wifi and little fridge. Room is tiny, so it will be more suitable for single person only.
Checkin and property are located in different locations, first you get the keys from one address on kings cross, then you coming to your room on camden town, both places near the metro. Soundproofing or its absence. I even heard neighbours snoring at night. Loud neighbours.
Stuff never comes to my room at all for the whole stay to change the bed linen or make room cleaning.
For the winter period there is no heater, only a/c, which is enough but its usage over night was uncomfortable, so I slept in quite cold room time to time.
- Enisa (8/5): Very good - Good location, the room was clean safe and warm Noises coming from other room
- Joelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Károly (7/5): Basic accommodation in a great location - Located in the heart of Camden Town, one of London's most exciting areas, the studio apartment is close to pubs, shops, the market and the metro station. The public transport is excellent, you can reach other parts of the city easily. Good for a few days stay, it has all the essentials. The key must be picked up at another address (two metro stops from the accommodation). I was staying in the basement, with a window overlooking the communal courtyard. The apartment is very small, the bathroom is not ventilated, really only recommended for short stays.
- Helena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rory (1/5): Good place just not for any longer than a week. - Good location No hot water, bed felt like it was on a slant, staff kept trying to come in at unknown hours to “install an o ring for the shower”, another time a staff member just opened the door without knocking, pretty rude. Other than that it was a good little joint, great location just probably not the best place to stay for extended periods of time given there’s no where to wash clothes.
- Barry (8/5): Great location and perfect for my needs. -
- Bobbi (7/5): Great location, clean & comfortable, but too small. - The location in Camden town was amazing - & the main reason I chose this place.
Also, I wanted a fridge, & a place to work, which I had.
Happy with the aircon/heating too. The room was too small. I had to put my suitcase (heavy) on the bed during the day & back on the floor when I went to bed.
I wasn't fond of the thin walls, or that I had to be careful about people seeing in.
- Zara (10/5): Exceptional -
