Bit pricey but this is normal for this area. We knew what we were getting when we paid! Worth it for the views if you've never stayed near the Piazza.

• Baccoli (8/5): Overall, it was a good hotel but a couple of tweaks would make it even better. - The gelato was excellent, the staff was exceptional, and the location was perfect. The bed itself was very comfortable. Having 24 hour access to the breakfast area with coffee available was outstanding. The room was very small, the sink and faucet in the bathroom regardless of how slow you put on the water splashed all over the place. There was just no space to maneuver in that room.

The hotel is older but has been maintained very well--the rooms have a beautiful charm. The staff were warm and extremely helpful. I hope to return to Florence, and when I do, I won't hesitate to stay here again.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Auto haben wir in der Garage Michelangelo geparkt und es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Das Auto haben wir unbeschadet zurückbekommen. Die Autos werden unter Tags auf einen Parkplatz außerhalb von Florenz gebracht. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Florenz und können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Oh and the breakfast buffet is one of the BEST I’ve seen in Italy! You can make your own pancakes on a pancake machine?! There was an entire side of prosciutto that you carve! And a huge honeycomb that was designed to drizzle honey right out not your plate! As a chef and a foodie, I was quite impressed. We loved everything about it

I would also commend the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. The noise within the hotel lobby carried down the hallway to our room often. But since you are right next the Duomo this won't be a quiet stay anyway!

Noise outside on the weekend lasted until 5am. The hotel has almost no control over it since it is a popular socializing district. In my younger years without a family it would have been perfect. With young children, not so much.

Perfect location. Friendly staff and free gelato,coffee,pastries. I had the perfect comfy bed and best sleep. For the price I paid,I feel free breakfast should have been included in my booking.

Se escuchaba el ruido de las habitaciones de al lado de la ducha como si estuvieran en la tuya. La ventana era minúscula y no ventilaba. El servicio de habitaciones no hizo la cama completa. El precio de más de 200€ por noche es exageradamente caro para lo que es el hotel, por muy cerca que esté de la basílica.

• Annett (9/5): Italienische Freundlichkeit ganz ehrlich und ursprünglich…. - Sehr italienisches Flair und sehr sehr bemühte Mitarbeiter besonders am Empfang mit guten Tipps für die Stadt. Ein Hotel, dass mich mit seinem italienischen Charme für sich eingenommen hat. Die Lage ist absolut zentral. Ich hatte eine kleine Terrasse zur Kathedrale. Das war sehr schön. Alles war gut.

• ALBERT (10/5): - The hotel room was very clean and felt luxurious, with everything neat and well organized. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was spotless. The location is perfect—right next to the Duomo—which made our stay even more special. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. We also really appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, and ice cream. We loved this hotel and will definitely be coming back again. nothing to fault

Right across the street from the Duomo, perfect location for accessing all the sights. Staff was extremely helpful and polite, breakfast was very lovely and the cappucino was so yummy with the most amazing view of the Duomo! Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Florence! nothing at this time.
