Guest Reviews
- Tina (8/5): Great - Location was great for rail trail access. Lovely to be right be the creek with clean running water. Great there was a massage chair as a bonus
- Edward (9/5): Secluded and quite. Fire pit is a great inclusion -
- Alex (10/5): - Awesome stay. Waterhole is a must. Just lay in a hammock and chill Nothing
- Alyce (3/5): Beautiful backdrop connecting you to nature but definitely not the cleanest - The unit backs on to a beautiful nature strip and creek which is beautiful and peaceful however this section has no fenced area and children next door are very noisy very early which disrupts that serenity. The sheets were dirty from the person before me, not washed or fresh sheets. I was astonished. So gross. There were so many spiders in the bed, red backs and huntsman spiders and the crawl over you during the night in bed swell even though I removed them and checked the bed thoroughly after first discovering them and the soiled sheets. The unit was very dirty in general and smelt poorly. Honestly very disappointing cleanliness, comfort and valu wise. Such a shame because ot looked so nice in the photos and backing on to the creek as such holds such great potential but absolutely disguisting cleanliness, especially for rhe price you pay. I wish I could say better things because the host was lovely.
- Kaley (6/5): Beautiful location, quaint accomodation but not enough attention to detail. - The location was perfect- right by a beautiful flowing creek. It was dusty, especially outdoor furniture. It was advertised as having barbecue facilities and bikes to ride - both not working. The owner did go and purchase a new barbecue that evening but he couldn’t get it working! We had to ask - is toilet paper provided.
- Andrea (10/5): An Oasis for us and our dogs while cycling the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Our stay was perfection. - We chose this place because it sits along the Northern Rivers Rail Trail which we were cycling with our dogs over 2 days. We chose this place for our first night because it accommodated our dogs. The hosts were lovely and love dogs as much as we do. The place was so clean and comfortable and we felt right at home straight away. It was stocked with luxurious amenities we didn't expect. The place backs onto public land so the dogs could have fun on the forest trail and swimming holes right in our backyard. We will definately be back!
- peter (9/5): Had a great time away - Very quite an private. The perfect place to relax an recharge
- AK8759684 (8/5): Beautiful, quiet and relaxing - Lovely location. It's great for a bush walk in the morning with the dogs. Quiet and private. Loved the massage chair too. Internet was a little patchy, which made it hard to watch anything on the TV.
- Hynes (10/5): Awesome little place - Loved it. Its a beautiful little place Can't say anything bad about it
- Bruce (10/5): -

- Arron (9/5): - Amazing property with amazing surroundings. Creek right outside the property with a trail to walk along. We were also greeted by a friendly, fun dog that went on a walk with us. Also there's a massage chair. Peace and quiet. Flowers and skin products. Tea, coffee, etc. We were also given fresh fruit from their trees.
- Ronald (4/5): - Trowels were smelly and felt wet.
Body wash was empty.
Dog sleeping on daybed. But I’m not allowed to take my dog!
Shower fan was filthy.
Log walk in the dark to unload the car.
Make sure you bring a good torch.
Definitely NOT worth the money.
- Timothy (9/5): You will leave a lot more relaxed than when you arrived. - The location is so perfect, with a beautiful creek on the back doorstep. The hosts dog is also very cute and friendly. A more comfortable bed is the only thing lacking.
- Ally (10/5): Oasis is the perfect name for this heart-nourishing space - Ok I’m officially in love with this space!
I was greeted at the car by a lovely Frenchman baring a pot of freshly ground coffee for me to use in the perfect little manual machine, the massage chair was soul-nourishing for this little broken body, but the magic of land and water even more so. Not to mention the joy we all felt watching my 2 yr old doggo play unendingly with their beautiful 1.5 yr old Leon. And endless size along the free-running full creek for ball games/pinecone throwing etc, ha! I can’t remember her name sorry, but Mama of the house called a couple of times just to check in on everything, and I couldn’t have been more blissed - spices, oils, vinegars, a plethora of body products, delicious privacy, and lovely soulful touches everywhere. I live locally and will definitely be back and am already sharing this beautiful space with all the lovely people in my world who I know will love it! I don’t even like tiles as a flooring, and it was raining most of the time, but none of it mattered, I was just so grateful and nourished. The only thing I’d mention is that the bed’s incredibly soft, to the point of almost falling into it - but that’s some that’s usually a deal breaker for me as I have a back injury, and not even that could keep me away 🥰
- Tayla Ruby (10/5): Great weekend escape! - Property is beautiful and backs onto the water hole super relaxing and scenic. They have the cutest puppy super friendly and gentle. Hosts were nice. Nothing really except no signal but not their fault
- Lisa (8/5): Host was welcoming , creek was lovely, cottage well presented - Great facilities, lovely little cottage on the edge of Burringbar Creek It’s in a suburb, behind the house which is ok but not what I expected. Front and back yard, apart from patio, are raked dirt- not ‘grass’ as in photo- it’s messy with dogs.
- Melissa (10/5): We will be back. Thank you - The sound of the water flowing while listening to the birds and sitting by the fire was so relaxing. The accommodation was very cosy and clean. The short break that we needed and our puppies were welcome and made a friend, who came to say hello. Nothing
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Leah (9/5): Superb -
- Robin (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (7/5): Lovely tropical environment. Comfortable. - Lovely tropical environment. Comfortable.
- Claire (9/5): Oasis all right... For us and our two XL dogs! - We spent 5 nights here with our two 50kg dogs. Caring and accommodating host, beautiful serene location, private accommodation including a comfortable bed, exclusive access to a running creek and swimming hole, space for our two XL dogs to explore and run. Appreciated the day bed under the patio to chill and read. General store, butcher, bottle shop only a couple of minutes away, and the town is 15mins to beaches or within an hour of Evans Head. Wonderful! Feel so relaxed now.
Thanks for the lovely touches you left too Shaked! 🌸 Washing machine but nowhere to hang out towels/clothes to dry, BBQ was covered in lots of tree debris and gas bottle empty.
- Tracey (10/5): TRANQUILLITY, Peace, serenity. Take a step, and BREATHE - Private walk to residence, private water hole, massage chair, lovely bed, washing machine, essential.oils, crystals etc!! LOVED THIS PLACE No number on the road entrance to indicate it was the right driveway
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Sophia (9/5): If you want peaceful relaxation in basic facilities, this is absolutely superb - The serenity, the location, the creek, the privacy. Basic facilities but very welcoming and wonderfully secure for furbabies. Owners are friendly and respectful of privacy. Desperately need screens on both front and back doors to allow fresh air and breezes but keep the insects out.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful relaxing beautiful
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Gill (9/5): A little piece of paradise, we will be back - The location was perfect, clean & very comfortable. So peaceful, loved the bush outlook & swimming in the creek. Close to all the local amenities. A wonderful stay
- Brent (9/5): Superb - Very well stocked with all the basic essentials and a clean, peaceful, relaxing accommodation in a beautiful location. The neighbours had an all night party on Friday. Which was very annoying hearing awful trance music until nearly sunrise.
- Laura (10/5): Oasis suited us perfectly for our short stay. It was very clean and has a lovely outdoor area. Hosts are friendly. We ha - The property was secluded and peaceful.

- Michael (10/5): Shake and Liron are wonderful hosts who have thought of everything to make guests feel welcome. - Everything! Shaked and Liron really created a little oasis here with lots of lovely details and little surprises :) We are very glad we found this accommodation. Excellent location, the apartment is central to the local Burringbar shops, the Rail Trail with excellent eating at the Burringbar Sports Club. The place is so quiet waking up to the beautiful sounds of the birds, with trees rustling in the breeze and the gentle running of water in the creek near by. A place just to unwind.
- Katalin (8/5): Very good - Gem of a property in fabulous relaxed location. All of the little touches - fresh flowers, toiletries etc were great. Only downfall and no fault of the owners was the noisy neighbour who did DIY (using nail guns) till 11pm - ruined the peace sadly.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -
- Kylie (9/5): Quiet and restful - The location is so quiet, close to Burrigbar and rail trail. Great for the dogs.

- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing hosts. So helpful, kind and caring. Location was peaceful and beautiful and healing
- Tanya (8/5): Great house, wonderful setting, very calming and relaxing - Clean, beautiful setting, quiet and serene Not easy to find the property, narrow alley war to get to the house. Need lighting at night

- Graham (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Location and ambience. Was such a good stay and was exactly what we needed. The massage chair was absolutely amazing as well. To the point where we are actually looking at getting the exact same one! It was perfectly charming.
- Shannan (10/5): Exceptional - A perfect little getaway to unwind and relax. A beautiful and cosy spot that had all the comfort features with a running creek out the back. Definitely will be back. The hosts were amazing and accommodating.
The photos don’t do it justice.😊
Thank you N/A
- Sharon (9/5): Quiet and peaceful - Everything about our stay was great. The cottage was clean, comfortable and attention to detail beautiful with fresh flowers, array of teas and toiletries such as mask and face scrub to use. The massage chair was awesome. The view out the back onto the forest and creek was beautiful and quiet. It was so relaxing to sit outside and be able to take in the sounds of nature. The kitchen was well equipped but I didn't feel like cooking so there are places close by where you can grab a bite. Definitely a weekend well worth the money spent. It was perfect!

- Vanessa (9/5): A rare little gem and would stay again. - Beautiful and peaceful grounds right on the river. Lovely sitting outside in nature listening to the birds sing and the water running. Very friendly host. Place was clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Everything you need is supplied with some beautiful little touches like fresh flowers everywhere, massage chair and lot's of bathroom products. Nothing.
- Connie (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Fantastic stay and lovely host - The ambience of the place near the water and very secluded. Provided a great fire pit to sit outside in the evening.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - Beautiful spot, lovely and helpful host.
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - I had the most magical experience at Oasis Burringbar. The moment I stepped inside, I was enchanted by the fresh flowers and the comforts of home living plus more. Outside was a breathtaking beautiful creek that runs right through the property. It was like stepping into a fairytale!
Not only was the setting magical, but the accommodation was also top-notch. One of my favorite features was the fire pit, which was perfect for cozying up around in the evenings. It added an extra layer of warmth and charm to the already magical atmosphere. I felt completely at ease during my stay. The attention to detail was impressive, and every inch of the property was immaculately clean.
I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a peaceful, private and rejuvenating retreat, look no further than Oasis Burringbar. It truly is a hidden gem!"
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful location. My son really enjoyed the creek and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. Great place to go for a ride along the Rail Trail as well.
- Kylie (9/5): Superb - So quiet and relaxing. nice to listen to the birdsong instead of traffic noise.
- Dawn (9/5): fantastic!!! - loved the feeling of being private with a little river at the back . great for us and our dog
- Grant (9/5): Great spot, unique hut - Great location , lovely host All good
- Warren (7/5): Private clean well equipped - Stylishly decorated unit with view of a creek. Great kitchen, lounge area, free Netflix. Very private Access to the unit is quite far from the car and because it is a loose gravel path means you can't easily wheel luggage especially in the rain. Bedroom would do better with a smaller bed and less clutter as it was hard to manouvre around at night with our bags on the floor
- Irene (9/5): amazing peaceful place, gorgeous surroundings, super friendly and helpful hosts and a swimming creek to boot! - loved the location and the hosts. beautiful serene place. became our little home for the week. the bed is a little big for the space but that’s a minor detail.
- Phil (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect 👌
- Ann-marie (10/5): didnt want to leave! - The whole place!! it was private, overlooked a running creek. The little things like the fresh flowers everywhere, coffee machine, good quality bath products made it so welcoming. the massage chair was the best!! the fact that we only booked one night - will be back to stay for longer next time.
- Mel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allsop (8/5): Oasis cottage is beautifully situated and well provisioned for a delightfully quiet break. - n/a Too much furniture. The bed needs to be replaced with a modern base and small headboard with no foot board. There is no purpose in the armchair nor the chest of drawers in the small bedroom. They take up much of the limited space. The elaborate light arrangement in the living room takes up space unnecessarily. The bulky massage chair, likewise, is out of place and does not fit in to the vibe of Oasis cottage. A translucent screen separating the toilet from the rest of the bathroom would make it more serviceable. Shampoos etc should be situated on the same wall as the shower taps to create more room in the shower recess. The spa (apparently a work in progress) needs covering.
- Nicole (10/5): A relaxing and quiet place which was dog friendly - A amazing hideaway which was modern, clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Javier (10/5): fantastic relaxing place - absolutely comfortable and stunning everything
- Crystal (7/5): Good -
- Amanda (10/5): perfect oasis 🌸 - everything, walked into a beautiful oasis
- Andrew (7/5): Good - well equipped, lovely quiet location and very clean and cute.
- Markus (10/5): It was a beautiful little cabin tucked away in the forest with a nearby swimming hole 🤌🏻 -
- Melanie (10/5): A home away from home - A beautiful tranquil location, looking onto a stream and natural swimming hole. Our pets could come with us on our holiday. The bed was super comfy, a real home away from home.
- Ron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ron (9/5): The stay was excellent, the setting was beautiful, and the hosts were lovely. - The location was excellent for us as the property was very tranquil in a bush/garden setting with a lovely brook. It it was pet friendly and conveniently close to where our friends live. Burringbar is also quite cute and conveniently located close to beaches, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. The hosts were really lovely and made sure our stay was comfortable. The studio was extremely well set out with everything you needed. We would definitely stay there again. All was good. The only suggestion I have is a gate on the side of the studio unit to the side fence which would make front yard/garden fully contained for the dog
- Edy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (8/5): Very good - Beautiful property and in nature. Nice unusual pieces of art work. Nice comfy bed.
- Vicki (9/5): lovely tranquil setting for a hideaway retreat -
