• Melanie (8/5): Overall a great place. - The location is excellent. Not only is it a short walk from the train station, but there are numerous places to eat (not even including the many convince stores). Check in was easy, although with 4 people it took a bit of time on the tablet. No staff on site to help, which worried us but ended up not mattering. The shared kitchen/lounge space was easy to use and great for light cooking or warming up food. Everything was clean. The room we were in was very narrow, just enough to pass by the beds to get to the washroom, if you have large luggage you wont have space.

• Oresr (10/5): A hidden gem for tourists - Location is great. Very close to the train station, a 7 11, and many small food places. As well as a 25 minute walk from Ikebukuro which is amazing. Basically no staff check in on tablet which is nice since no pressure of trying to understand each other and the price is great. With good facilities. I had a room with bunk beds. Which I knew so it was my mistake, being on top bunk was slightly challenging but once up it was great! Honestly no complaints aside me hurting my back due to being on top bunk which was my fault. WiFi could be a bit spoty sometimes tho however since all the travelling we did it was not a problem.

• Lin (8/5): Convenient and Great Value - The hotel’s location is super convenient, just a short walk from the subway station, making it easy to get around. There are lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so finding food is no problem. The self-check-in was quick and easy, and the room was fully equipped with everything I needed. For the price, it’s definitely great value. Overall, a nice and hassle-free stay!

• Zavala (5/5): Decent stay, great location - The hotel is very conveniently located near a major train station. There is a shopping area close by and lots of restaurants. There also was always some kind of event taking place during the weekend which was nice. The rooms were very small. No staff available for check in. However the manager was always available for questions which was great.

• Gábor (3/5): Definitely not 3 stars. It’s a dirty and uncomfortable hostel. - Not much, the location at most. The room was dirty. Full of dust, every time I went to bed, my eyes were itchi from all the dust. Our window looked at the back of the building to huge pile of trash. We saw cockroaches and rats so we couldnt keep the window open. None of the connections to the staff was available, not the number they put out, not the Line account they left there. Also very loud whenever somehody passed by. Definitely not recommended.

• Marinda (7/5): Good - Was a handy little dorm room for the family But we had a subway pass not a JR rail pass so not convenient location for subway. And husband may got bacterial pneumonia from their humidifier. Not 100 sure of infection location obviously
• Rebekka (10/5): A peaceful stay with the nicest staff on Koh Chang - The Resort is located at a beautiful spot, where we had lots of privacy and quiet. We stayed for 2 weeks and especially because of the very kind, helpful staff, we quickly felt at home. Breakfast was served at reasonable hours and was always delicious. Every day we were able to choose if we wanted our room to be cleaned or not and received some water. The whole place was very clean in general. Every time there was an issue or something we needed help with, the staff was at our side right away and solved any problem immediately. I'd definitely recommend the resort to anyone coming to Koh Chang

It said like a sofa bed for 2 instead only a thin futon on floor and a big mattress on the upper bed… They put is literally next to their smoke place outside, so during the evening it wasn’t silent at all because of talking people who also were smoking and making the room where we stayed stinky!! About cleaning: most of the things seemed to be clean, however the airco had stains of dirt all around it, which is half work cleaning and was gross..

It was a quiet area and close to the train and amenities. It also had laundry facilities and a communal area, but we didn't know these were there until 2 days into our stay. I wish the rooms were cleaner and better maintained. I also wish I had known about the communal area sooner. A leaflet with information for our stay would have been helpful.

• Celina (7/5): You get what you pay for! :) - Overall you get what you pay. There is no reception but the check-in was easy (you get the room number and the pin for it at 3 p). The location of the hotel is super comfortable and near Otsuka Station (JR Line). Every local we met told us we choose a good location to stay and travel easy through Tokyo. They’re right! - It wasn’t clean at all - Bed was kinda uncomfortable (but if you’re used to sleep on a hard mattress it’s okay and you get used to it) - very noise neighbours
