• Julie (9/5): Would highly recommend for solo travellers and couples. - Good location in a gated quiet complex which was just a few minutes walk from the main strip and beach. Apartment was very clean and comfortable with a very good bed. Appreciated the Aircon! Nothing.
• Aine (7/5): The apartment was nice, but the host was rude and accused me of stealing the keys when in fact the next guests had check - We really enjoyed our stay,the apartment was in a lovely, quiet location while still being close to everything we needed. The apartment itself was lovely, quiet, convenient, and close to everything. However, checkout was a terrible experience. A few hours after we left, the host texted me accusing me of stealing the keys. I had returned them exactly as instructed, but she was extremely rude, even threatening to call the police and file a report against me. I told her several times that I hadn’t taken them, and the truth turned out to be that the next guests had checked in early and taken the keys. Despite this, I was unfairly accused and spoken to in a harsh and unacceptable way. Although she eventually apologized, being treated like that completely ruined the end of our stay!
• Gavin (9/5): Excellent stay in a clean and well equipped apartment in a brilliant location. - The apartment was well set up with all amenities and facilities required. The apartment was well stocked with towels and blankets as needed. The location was excellent. Air con was excellent. Pool area was lovely (although the water in the pool was freezing like an ice bath which was nice at times!). Not necessarily a dislike, however could be improved with a dishwasher. Also, the angle the shower head was fixed at meant the shower water was head/face height.

• Rachel (9/5): A great apartment - Wonderful apartment in a great location. Very comfortable with everything you need for a great vacation. We would definitely stay again. A few very minor points, a new fixture for the shower head as the water goes everywhere and a bath mat would help. Also, there was only one toilet roll. None of these issues were big enough problems for us not to stay again.
• Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - It was in a great location 5 minute walk to the beach. It had everything you needed, towels and beach towels provided as well as toiletries, clothes steamer, hairdryer, kettle. Pool area was great and gets the sun all afternoon. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. Yanira was very helpful and answered any questions. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!! 🙂
• Paul (10/5): Great little apartment in a perfect quiet location. - This is a lovely little apartment in a perfect location, 5 minutes walk from the main strip and Spar supermarket. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. The host Yanira responded quickly to any messages and was very helpful when we had any questions. The private apartment complex is very quiet and has a great pool area with sun beds and shaded areas. The apartment's rear terrace looks out onto this central area and was sunny throughout the afternoon. There's a large smart TV in the living room with apps like Netflix and YouTube if you want to spend some time relaxing in the apartment (also a TV in the bedroom). Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return again. Everything was great!

• Patricia (9/5): A fabulous apartment in a beautiful complex. - A fabulous apartment in a beautiful mostly residential complex.The apartment had everything that a holiday maker would need for a very relaxing stay.There were plenty of towels, oodles of hot water and the bed was very comfortable.The property also had air con/ heating which was very welcome as January can be quite chilly early morning and late evening.There is an opaque glass surround around the patio, which gives a bit of privacy.There is a a washing machine on the back patio, which was fabulous.Yanira had thought of everything to make your stay really perfect.There was everything from pegs, to toiletries, washing up liquid to bin bags.Salt, tea bags and a bottle of water in the fridge.A huge television mounted on the lounge wall. The property is in a gated complex, 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, shops and a brilliant supermarket.Buses to the rest of the island run regularly and there is a bus stop outside the San Antonio Hotel if you don’t have access to a car. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sun beds but it wasn’t that busy when we were there.It was a perfect sun trap and very quiet.Other guests were very respectful of other guests. There was a maintenance man who looked after the complex and kept everything spotlessly clean. I think the microwave is positioned too high on the wall.I also think that the bracket holding the shower head needs to be a multi directional bracket.
• Breda (9/5): Clean comfortable apartment in safe complex only 7 mins walk to main strip. - Very clean comfortable apartment in a complex I am very familiar with . It suits my needs and I like the location. Nice pool area albeit pool very cold, but refreshing. I would prefer a walk in shower rather than bath / shower. And some English/ Irish tv channels would be welcomed.

The shower was terrible not a proper shower it was as old fashioned off the tap and the head wouldn’t stay on really in need of updating

• Daniella (8/5): Beautiful, highly recommend, pool perfect - Beautifully clean and modernised 1 bedroom apartment. Good communication with owner, easy to access. Plenty of towels, beach towels were a lovely plus, and everything you needed. Air con a very welcome change on the island. A 5 minute walk to the Spa on the Main Street, ideal for us as we like a quieter location. Pool is beautiful and no fight for the sunbeds, always got one no matter what time of day. Would highly recommend and we’ll be back. The shower head structure needs replacing, a shower was challenging with only one position and that was too tall for one of us. Didn’t spoil the experience though.
• Gill (9/5): A very convenient location and pleasant apartment. - This is one of the best Airbnb / Booking.com properties we have stayed in at Puerto Del Carmen during the last 6 years. The pool area was very nice and always a sunbed available.
