• Elizabeth (10/5): Little oasis in Dahab - Great location, like a little oasis just behind the busy promenade in Dahab. The courtyard is lovely, and the whole place feels chilled and friendly. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Ahmed was very welcoming and genuinely cared about making sure guests were having a good time. I really appreciated the warm hospitality and really enjoyed my stay here.

Beliggenheten er perfekt, 3 min til stranda, men likevel skjermet for støy Det er et veldig enkelt sted, med enkle fasilteter, men vi ble vant til det etter hvert, så egentlig ikke noe stort minus.

• Mahmoud (10/5): - The camp is absolutely wonderful and beautiful, full of trees and wildlife; you feel like you're in a natural forest. The staff there are amazing, clean, and friendly. They organized a Bedouin-themed evening for us at the hotel, with food cooked over charcoal, sweet potatoes with Nutella, and Bedouin tea. The experience was truly beautiful, and Saeed, Abdullah, and Mohammed were all fantastic.
• Karin (9/5): - De gastvrijheid is echt geweldig. Je voelt je meteen thuis en welkom. De locatie heeft 'maar' acht kamers en is daardoor heel intiem. Je kunt 's avonds kiezen om te socializen bij het kampvuur of lekker je eigen plan te trekken. Het is heel basic en daardoor geweldig om de originele en community sfeer van Dahab te ervaren.

• Amelie (10/5): - Schöner, entspannter Ort in sehr guter Lage. Das Zimmer war für 3 Personen nicht besonders groß, aber wir kamen gut klar. Inhaber und Personal sehr nett. Sie kümmern sich und organisieren bei Bedarf Touren oder einen Flughafentransfer. Trotzdem nicht aufdringlich. , Unser Zimmer war mit einem Schrank und drei Betten recht voll, aber für uns war der Platz ausreichend.
• Tomasz (5/5): Great if you're feeling social. - The proximity to the central drag and sea, super-kind and humble staff, and 'vibe'. Staff are quick to respond to any request, will clean your room impeccably at any time, and were more than happy to organise taxis and excursions. Genuine, communal living. There is a peaceful, charming, and calming seating area on the second floor, and they have hopes of turning it into an event venue in the future. If I felt social, I'm sure it would be great fun, but if you're just a random guest looking for a standard place to sleep I would not recommend. It feels more like you're the new roommate at a Bedouin frat house. The evening campfires seem wonderful, but are heavy on smoking/drinking so not great if you're introverted. On top of what I've described thus far, heavy next-door construction has been a consistent lovely day-time feature, followed by loudspeaker-blasted exclamations from a neighbouring event venue. To be specific, from 9pm or so, be prepared to be serenaded by terrible, terrible karaoke renditions of "Creep" and "Uptown Funk Gon Give it to Ya" (whether you like it or not). The communal kitchen is far from a dream, and the stench of the bathroom was truly Uptown Funk that gave it to me.

• celia (5/5): Très déçus… - L’emplacement est idéal et le personnel du Sunrise est sympathique. Le lieu que je note n’est pas le Sunrise mais l’hôtel adossé à celui ci où l’on nous a installé sans nous en informer…apparemment il y a des travaux qui commencent à 7h donc pour ne pas nous déranger on nous a mis ailleurs … alors qu’on est levé à 7h tous les jours… j’aurais aimé être informée avant de ce changement au lieu de subir. On aurait pu nous avertir et dans ce cas j’aurais changé d’endroit et demandé un remboursement !!!J’avais soigneusement sélectionné un lieu qui nous ressemble,j’avais longtemps hésité sur plusieurs logements et j’aurais dû en choisir un autre si j’avais su… 5 nuits à passer dans un hôtel affreux sans aucun charme avec des touristes irrespectueux, faisants du bruit toute la nuit , criants et claquants les portes ! Une horreur! L’endroit est le parfait opposé de tout ce que nous aimons et la personne qui tient l’hôtel est atrocement désagréable ! Les toilettes fuyaient, nous devions récurer à chaque fois ! Nous avons étés très déçus de ne pas nous avoir demandé notre avis, c’est le minimum lorsque l’on paye une prestation….renseignez vous bien avant de réserver que l’on vous mette dans le lieu choisi et non ailleurs….

• Titania (9/5): Quiet and cozy next to the Lighthouse - Very close to the Lighthouse, the staff was amazingly kind and helpful and helped me whenever I had a doubt or needed a suggestion, really the best people I’ve ever met in a hotel. It’s really quiet, there is karaoke sometimes from the closest restaurant until midnight but it didn’t bother me with earplugs. A bit spartan but it had everything I needed. A nightstand or some tables for remote working would have been useful!

Il est à deux pas de la promenade du bord de mer et donc des soirées musicales qui ont lieu plusieurs fois dans la semaine. L'accueil est adorable et très réactif. • Nicolas (6/5): We did expect a bit more cleanliness and comfort - To be fair, it's a very low price so don't expect miracles :). We needed a place to stay because our usual hotel was fully booked, so we gave it a try. Staff is really nice. The room was very small, not clean, out of towels and very humid with a bad smell from the toilet. So being a middle aged couple in need for a bit more comfort, we found another hotel after one night.

Value for money Quite a few mosquitoes around the property and in the room, but this does seem to be a problem in Dahab in general. • YAN (10/5): wonderful vibe near the sea - We absolutely loved our stay here. The vibe is exactly what we are looking for. Host Orabi and all the staff are nice. Orabi is always there to help with any request, and the staff are so talented musicians, created a relaxing atmosphere for the camp with their live music. I love the courtyard. Could spend a whole day reading in the hammocks. The snorkeling spots is only 1 minute walk from the camp. Everything from dining and shopping to diving was very convenient. There is an open mic event nearby on Fridays that goes on until a bit past midnight, which can be a little noisy. However, for those who love a social life, it's a chance to join the fun and not a problem at all. Also, a small refrigerator in the room would be a perfect addition.

The vibe is warm and relaxing. It’s not like the typical commercial camps in Dahab that cram in too many rooms and leave barely any shared space. The staff here are genuinely friendly and respectful. It is in the centre where you find everything around.

A special thanks to Mr. Ahmet, who was especially supportive—he helped us with everything and his guidance made our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. Overall, the hotel staff were very attentive. We never experienced any issues; on the contrary, every request was handled quickly and efficiently. With their warm hospitality, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely a place we’d love to stay again. Highly recommended to anyone!
