• Sofie (10/5): Prachtig hotel op een fijne locatie - Super mooi hotel, lieve medewerkers en het ligt in een hele fijne wijk dichtbij alles maar toch rustig. Ik kan niks bedenken.

• Ignacia (10/5): Love, love and loved! - Loved everything about it! We got a free room upgrade, to the velvet suite so have no complaints. The staff were lovely and friendly. Rooms were super clean. The interior was stunning inside and out loved the little details in the rooms. Location was also perfect close to everything. Only extra note would be a request for body lotion as all other toiletries were provided.

The amenities were amazing. I was looking for a place to pamper myself on my last night in Australia and I couldn't have picked a better hotel. There was no lift/elevator. That wasn't a bad thing, really. I worked it out to leave my largest suitcase downstairs in their storage because I really didn't need anything in it and I didn't want to drag it up the stairs.

The location is excellent, bars, cafes, train all nearby, walk to the harbour through the botanic gardens 30 mins, would recommend to anyone.

Loved the decor, the shower, the bed, the seating area, the fridge and the birthday rosé. Staff super friendly. Our room was ground floor so we did have some noise from Reception behind our bed head, the courtyard and footsteps upstairs. Would be fine if you’re good with earplugs in the morning or an early riser yourself.

• Magdalena (9/5): Peaceful , airy , classy respite - We absolutely loved our stay here. From the initial booking, to all our questions and changes, the hotel staff were extremely professional and kind. We would love to stay here again. Our spacious room, with a queen-sized bed, was clean and tidy, and the mattress on the bed itself was firm and all too comfortable. It was very convenient to have a sink and a mini fridge in the room, with a separate sink in the bathroom. Very high design, which, as it goes, can often be inconvenient for actual use. Like any hotel room, it needs more places to hang clothing and bags, both in the bathroom, and in the room itself. Lighting, however, thankfully, was ample. We loved the Aēsop bath products, and they Dyson hairdryer, and the cushy robes… The courtyard outside proved and pleasant sitting area. Though Darlinghurst is known to be a bit lively, at night it’s quite calm and peaceful here. Like any hotel room, it needs more places to hang clothing and bags, both in the bathroom, and in the room itself.

Gemütliche Umgebung in einem tollen toleranten und offenen Stadtteil! Das kleine und feine Hotel wurde von den neuen Eigentümern wenige Monate zuvor saniert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail hochwertig ausgestattet!

Gute Anbindung mit U-Bahn oder auch zu Fuss um in die Stadt zu kommen. Die Staff vom Hotel war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haben uns gute Tips gegeben. Immer gerne wieder.

• Michael (1/5): A complete and total disappointment. Very misleading. - Nothing. The description of this facility was extremely misleading. Our room was extremely small. The room description was “a deluxe queen “ and there was nothing deluxe about this room. The closet was too small to be usable. There was only room for a single suitcase to be opened but nowhere to unpack it. The description describes “a well fitted kitchenette and meals can be prepared there” but there is nothing like that. A very small countertop with a small microwave, coffee maker and a very small refrigerator. Over the years I have stayed at many places and chose this because of the description and high ratings. This was the worse I have ever experienced and they were unwilling to give even a partial refund. We moved to another hotel because this was so small. Buyer beware of this property.

Nothing to dislike we would definitely stay again. Good location lots of bars & eateries near by & within walking distance to the botanical gardens 30 mins Not a dislike as it didn’t apply to us but there is no lift. That said if you needed one just say & they would probably sort you out with a ground floor room

Amazing staff, lovely clean room and excellent position to local transport to explore the city. - From the minute we pulled up in the taxi and they immediately took care of our heavy luggage to the moment we left, the staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was really interesting and quirky and the room was lovely and so clean. Facilities were excellent with all the usual things but dressing gowns, microwave, ironing board all thrown in. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. 🤗 Maybe a larger surface around the bathroom sink for wash bags etc. 🤷🏻‍♀️

• Hazel (10/5): Love it! - The location is perfect - close to everything but still nice and quiet. The room was beautiful and so well appointed. The air con was awesome on the 32° days! The Aesop bathroom products smelt so good. The staff were so helpful and accommodating when we needed to slightly change plans. The only teeny tiny eeeny weeny issue was that there was a used coffee pod in the coffee/tea dish when we arrived. And personally, I didn't trust the seal on the water bottles provided so we just didn't use them - but it was a nice gesture.
