• Sari (7/5): - Location was amazing! Very nice to have two beds and two bathrooms. Facility overall was nice We saw several cockroaches throughout our three days there. They come in from the street since it’s a basement unit and crawl around the apartment. Gross.
• William (6/5): Bad communication - Wifi didn’t work for two days despite numerous communication. You had to leave a very noisy fan on or you would smell a horrible sewer smell. Even with the fan you could get a small odor. Nothing was mentioned about that either. The host told me someone would come to help with the wifi in 30 minutes. I waited an hour and nobody came. The next day regarding the wifi, the host told me to go outside to speak to someone regarding the wifi. No name or details. I went outside and asked all around turns out the guy wasn’t even there. Gone. Very disappointed . On top no mention the unit is in the basement.
• Marcela Silvina (8/5): Excelente ubicación - La ubicacion es excelente, cerca de todo y se puede recorrer caminando todos los puntos importantes de la ciudad, además es muy moderno y si bien no tiene ventanas o luz natural, está perfectamente iluminado, lo que hace que no se note. La falta respuesta del anfitrión ante el inconveniente con internet que no funciona y se cortaba. Cuando consulté por el Lavarropas que figuraba en los servicios que tenía el departamento y no estaba cuando llegamos, la respuesta fue que era un error.

• Jane (10/5): Cute basement apartment, perfect location - Cute, comfortable and well appointed little basement apartment right in the middle of Plaka. Just a short walk from the Acropolis. Amazing location right in the action. We loved our stay! No issues. Recommended.

• Feeser (1/5): Had Roaches and bugs, owner refused to return money for the days we had to pay to stay elsewhere. - Despite being in a basement, the location is excellent if you want a room in the Plaka and don't mind not having a view. The room seems well updated and the tile and lights are new. The WiFi was fast, the hot water was quick and long lasting and the kitchenette was well stocked with coffee, creamer and sugar. The refrigerator had complimentary waters in it which was nice as well. The lockbox was directly outside and easy to spot. The owner messaged the code to the lockbox ahead of time and it was easy to open. I'd recommend a slightly more complex code as the one provided would be easy to guess. There were many roaches in the apartment and the owner became increasingly difficult to work with as more roaches and bugs appeared. On the second day we saw a roach run across the bed and the owner sent his cleaning lady and said this had never happened before. We initially decided to continue our stay and take him for his word. However, over the next few days there were increasingly more roaches and bugs, and he stopped responding to our communications. Due to the infestation we found other accommodations and asked for a refund for the 5 remaining nights. At first he offered cash for 4 of the nights, but when I requested a credit card refund to avoid cash exchange fees, he wrote that Booking did not allow him to return our money. After calling Booking, they refuted his assertion. When pressed, he stopped responding, so we're now working with Booking and our Credit Card to get our money back. Very disappointed. The shower is unwieldy and it’s hard not to get water all over the bathroom. I think that’s a design choice with a lot of Greek baths. The water pressure is a bit low in the toilets.
• Orielle (10/5): The location was excellent for a short stay in Athens. Within walking distance to the Acropolis. Communication with hos - Great location! Clean and quiet.
• Elizabeth (9/5): Best part of town in beautiful Plaka. Situated in tourist area and is walking distance from most attractions. Surrounde - Location location!! Very stylish and neat accommodation. The 2 separate toilets with basins made the stay more comfortable especially when you are 4 people travelling. Lack of privacy between the 2 double beds and lack of fresh air as you can’t open a window.
• Hege (10/5): Nice apartment with great location - A modern and chic apartment with great location - "everything" is within walking distance. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There was water in the fridge, tea, instant coffee and even honey available when we arrived. Highly recommended! The hand held shower head is a bit bothersome.
• Joseph (9/5): Excellent location, comfortable, clean facility and excellent value for your money. I recommend - The location in touristy Plaka neighborhood was excellent and all major attractions are within walking distance. Uber pickup spot was less than 5 feet away. The facility was clean and beds were comfortable. There are two bathrooms, one with shower, sink and toilet and another with a sink and toilet - this was great time saver when multiple were getting ready to go out. Excellent value for the money. I would stay here again. Had to call couple of days before check-in to get the code for the lock box. Would have preferred to receive this information as part of arrival information along with the picture of the front door or location pin drop. Small European hand held shower pod.
