• 20fcf8b3b22f712ca67f9c70eac84ded (10/5): Awesome location, cute space, a/c location helped clothes dry quickly! - Such a cute space and more room to move around than most places we stayed! We had 5 people so 3 slept on mats and two slept upstairs. No complaints! Friday night we could hear nearby music coming in, but it didn’t bother us enough to grab our earplugs.

• Laura (8/5): Great location in the heart of all the action - Amazing location in the heart of Dotonbori however that does also mean it’s quite noisy in the evening with people and music. Can get quite noisy in the evening and be mindful if you’re tall as ceiling and door frame heights aren’t high.

Puede ser poco accesible para personas con problemas de movilidad o subiendo equipaje muy pesado. Tiene solo un baño, bien si no sois muchos.

• Mohd (10/5): One of the highlights is enjoying daily breakfast with a beautiful river view, which makes the experience even more spec - AQUA CITE DOTONBORI is an amazing place to stay and truly deserves a 5-star rating. Located right in the heart of Dotonbori, it offers easy access to everything Osaka has to offer. The unit itself is warm and welcoming, the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. It features a cozy loft with two single beds, while the living area can comfortably accommodate up to five people with futons. One of the highlights is enjoying daily breakfast with a beautiful river view, which makes the experience even more special. Smokers will appreciate the thoughtful addition of a balcony. The area is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants and street food, and as the sun sets, it becomes even livelier, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. On top of all this, the owner is incredibly responsive, ensuring top-notch service throughout the stay. I highly recommend AQUA CITE DOTONBORI and will definitely choose it again for my future trips to Osaka.

And the amenities!!!! ❤️ love love love The stairs , since we had several luggage’s we had to carry it. It was just inconvenient but not a deal breaker. I loved the place and the amenities.

Theres also a washing machine with free laundry soap. The bed upstair is comfortable. No elevator. Need to carry all luggages to 3rd floor.

• Siu (2/5): Very disappointed - the location and the property is very clean. Security. They have a few guys came to knock the door between 9pm to midnight. And when I back to the property around 10pm, a guy followed me went up and asked me - are you looking for hotel? No Lift. Very hard to move all luggage to the property without lift.
• Ma (10/5): It was a very good experience because the property has a coffee maker, microwave, fridge, utensils, washing machine and - The Location is totally two thumbs up You need to carry your luggage in the stairs.
• Bradley (10/5): Great location with easy access to the night life of dotonbori - The size of the room was nice and the fact that it had a small balcony to overlook the canal was nice. The second level bed room was also fun to have just so everyone was not crammed into one large living space. All the facilities and amenities were clean and functioned great. Being directly off of the dotonbori street made it easy to get straight to the action at any time of the day. The only negative was that at times later in the night, the sound from some of the local karaoke places could be a bit louder than desired while inside of the upper bedroom, but it wasn't enough to cause any true problems with sleeping.

• Felicia (8/5): Small, well equipped place in the middle of outgoing area in Osaka. - Well equipped kitchen with windows looking out on the streets. Easy check-in. It is indeed in very noisy, busy and somewhat dingy area. Only 2 beds, rest futons. Having said all this, it was made clear beforehand in the description of the place.

• Logan (4/5): Worst managed apartment in 5 countries I've stayed in - The location is pretty much the only good thing about this place, as long as you don't mind a lot of noise and can drag your luggage up 3 flights of very narrow stairs. If you're handicapped, don't even bother looking at this listing. There's so many unmarked steps and fall hazards in the room, you might end up in a wheelchair anyway. There's signs all over the place to keep quiet and that this is a quiet residential neighborhood, but it's on Dotonbori in drunk town where people are shouting and blasting music all night. That was the first sign that this is remotely managed by a cheap, stingy company. This apartment is utterly covered in surprise rules that all have threats of fees attached to them. Used a dish and didn't wash it? 4000 yen. Left a mess? Extra fee. Use more than the one extremely thin, scratchy, small towel they provided per person for a four stay? Extra fee. Use an extra pillow from the closet? Extra fee. Check out late? 6000 yen per hour PLUS an additional mystery fee. The property even requested I empty the trash cans every day (yes, the sign said every day) and bring them down the three flights of stairs to a collection point, and threatened a fee for trash left in the trash can, where it belongs. There were so many rules sprung on us that weren't listed in the Booking listing and associated fees that I actually contacted customer service out of fear that I violated some rule I missed the sign for and would be charged. Booking agreed with me that these rules were not listed, the listed policy was inaccurate, and provided the material to challenge any charge if applied. On top of all of this cleaning nonsense and refusal to provide even two towels per person (no dryer, just washer, so can't wash and reuse quickly), the property messaged me with more requests (like emptying the trash cans) at 22:00 the night before check out and then did not respond to my request for clarification before we checked out. This place is definitely run by a distant, stingy company that is charging an absurd premium for the view yet still tries to wring more out of you in surprise rules and fees for violating them. I've stayed in bnbs and hotels in over a dozen states and countries and never seen such cheapness. The view is nice, but absolutely cannot recommend. Drop the price per night or be less stingy!

• Overton (10/5): Convenient, clean, comfortable - Beautiful property, located in an incredible spot within walking distance to Namba station. On the Main Street of Dotonbori with heaps to see and do. Few of the door ways are low and you can bump your head, but you get used to it.
• Anna (9/5): great view of dotonbori! - the location is really great of course, right in the middle of all the action of dotonbori. the unit was clean, beds were comfortable and great view from the kitchen! the staircase was a bit hard to manage with suitcases but we managed. be wary of the added cleaning charge onto the initial price

Check in information is easy to understand so can find hotel easily. location is perfect (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️), room conditions was good and kitchen view is amazing!!! I saw some reviews about loud but it was ok for us! not loud at night time. If I come to Osaka again , I will definitely stay here again. Unfortunately, No lift/elevator was there but it's ok you can exercise and getting healthy💪
• Britany (10/5): Exceptional - When it comes to location, you cannot beat this condo!!!Staying here puts you in the heart of Osaka’s iconic Dotonburi district. You are just a minute’s walk away from amazing bars, restaurants, clubs, and the famous running Gilco man! The unit itself is clean, well maintained and spacious. It has a large sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. The staff are very helpful and provided an easy contactless check in/check out process. My only regret was that we didn’t stay longer!
• Chong (5/5): just fine. Not ideal for big group (6pax above) - convenient many staircase up to the apartment, those who have big and heavy luggage is not ideal. Moldy smell on the towel. Toilet and bathroom setup non ideal for 6pax and above.
