• Ilja Repin (10/5): Schitterende locatie, uitzicht en comfort in de kamer. - Zeer attente eigenaar Stefano zorgde ervoor dat we ons hartelijk welkom voelden. We hebben hem niet gezien in de 3 dagen dat we er waren, maar hij was altijd via app te bereiken. De kamer is ontzettend schoon en ruim, met zelfs 2 balkons en geweldige view van Napoli. We kregen een chocolade bonbon op bed als welkom en genoeg handdoeken en badkamer spullen voor ons verblijf. De kamer heeft een koffieapparaat, tv, heerlijke bedden, alles nieuw en zeer schoon. Het gebouw is oud maar als je komt bij de 1e verdieping waar de kamers zijn, betreed je een gerenoveerde gang en voelt het meteen alsof je in een luxe hotel zit en niet in dat oude gebouw. De buurt en de straat is rustig met locale bevolking die zeer vriendelijk zijn. De locatie is dichtbij de kabelbaan, maar ook makkelijk vanuit haven te voet te bereiken (als je naar beneden gaat). We hebben veel gewandeld en alles was goed lopend te doen (maar de kabelbaan zit er bijna overal vlakbij). Niets! Het verblijf verliep echt schitterend.

• Sorina (10/5): - Everything was great, we had a very warm welcoming from Stefano and his partners. They provided us with a lot of useful information right away. The room was very clean and new and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Napoli is just beautiful! Also, Stefano helped us with a late check-out and booking a taxi for the airport trying to find the best option for us. You live in the heart of Naples so you will hear the locals talking loud sometimes but it's part of the charm :).

• Frank (10/5): Perfect place to stay in the middle, half way between Castel Sant Elmo and the harbo. - The room and amenities were very good, but what made the venue so wonderful was the balcony with two chairs and a table and a spectacular view of the harbor and the island of Capri.

Walk in power shower bathroom was beautiful. , long mirrors coffee machine kettle all amenities needed. Fully stocked mini fridge. Even took advantage of the umbrellas they have to use. The hosts were amazing waiting on us outside as we arrived in taxi was raining carried our luggage also held umbrellas for us so we didn’t get wet. They explained everything in the room how it all worked ect. Then give us recommendations of restaurants coffee shops ect. Even booked for us every thing they recommended was so good. Organised transport to airport for us. Franz stayed in touch via what app helped with so many things I needed. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels never had such good service. The area is lovely as it’s were all locals stay so nice and quiet and safe everywhere is walkable form the apartment. Shops supermarkets coffee shops all within 2 minutes walk and beautiful little church. This apartment is great value for the money and service you get blew us away. Anyone thinking of booking I highly recommend 10/10 Only staying 2 nights , we need to come back.

• Philip (10/5): Great modern furnishings with a super host. - The host Franz was super helpful and made sure we were looked after by checking in and providing us with recommendations and an affordable lift to the airport. The air conditioning was the best I’ve ever had in Italy. The complimentary coffee, waters, and tote bags were appreciated too. Just that it was up a hill, but we found one street in particular that was less steep to walk so all sorted.

The managers were unbelievably friendly — they even came to pick us up, which made us feel so welcomed from the very start. They went above and beyond to make our Napoli experience truly unforgettable. The accommodation itself was perfect — located just a bit outside the city, which made it calm, peaceful, and a lovely break from the chaos, yet still close enough for an easy walk into town. Every detail was so thoughtfully considered — from the beautiful room setup to the welcome tote bags, local products, and great coffee. You can tell so much love and attention has gone into making guests feel at home. We honestly didn’t want to leave. It’s rare to find a place that’s both stylish and soulful — but this was it. 100000% recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Napoli! absolutely nothing
• Liam (10/5): A fantastic city stay! - One of the best hosts we've ever had! We were given such a warm welcome both on the day via text, offering to provide us with directions to the property and to check with us that everything was ok and then secondly in person. You couldn't ask for a much better host! The room was spacious, extremely clean and modern. It had some complimentary water, coffee and teas, it also had a well stocked mini bar if we needed. It was a lovely room. The best part was the location, right by the funicular, a short walk to multiple metro stops and bus stops to get you to the port, airport, main train station etc. so it made getting about very easy. Within 20-30 minutes you could be surrounded by great bars and restaurants to spend the evening in and only a short walk from the maradona mural or Spaccanapoli. Brilliant room, brilliant location, brilliant price and an even better host! Next time we stay in Naples, we'll book here again.

• Mads (10/5): Great place, great owners - Great place and very good location. The rooms are charming, especially the ones with seaview and a balcony. We spent 3 nights there, and I am not sure how often the rooms are cleaned, but it didn't happen while we were there. It was no problem for us, because the owner made sure to refill water, coffee etc when we requested. The best thing about the place is the owners- They are super friendly and are ready to help with anything, such as restaurant recommendations and reservations. I can highly recommend this place.

• Pamela (10/5): A brilliant place to stay 🌟 - The apartment was decorated and furnished to a really high standard. It was really clean. The owner, Stefano, clearly cares about the guests having a good experience as there are a lot of thoughts about the extras, such as a carefully considered stocked fridge and nice product choices in the bathroom, and considerations that aren’t essential, but are very welcome touches such as a pen and paper, coffee machine, etc. We were offered an upgrade to a sea view terrace room as the room became available and happily accepted and were not disappointed. Stefano went above and beyond to help us out, providing really clear video instructions of how to find the property and recommendations for food in the area. We were unsure about which tour to take and he happily provided advice which was imperative to our itinerary: Vesuvius was sadly experiencing fires at the time so as a result was closed. We had no knowledge of this until Stefano informed us. We also had a really bad experience one night with ordering food to the apartment via an app, along with poor service from the vendor. Not able to speak much Italian at all we were at a loss of what to do. Stefano was amazing and stepped in to get us a full refund and ensure we got good food from another delivery, all of this being late at night. Such things happen from time to time and especially when a fish out of familiar water, but how they are dealt with is what matters. Stefano was able to take our negative experience and make it a positive one. That’s a really special talent. He’s really someone that is in the right job. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Palazzo Santa Maria again. It’s in a great location to the city - which is a fantastically vibrant and historic - and a beautiful place to stay at Palazzo Santa Maria, with a star of an owner. 10/10 👍

Les quartiers Vomero, Chiaia, quartiers spagnoli sont très proches. À faire à pieds ou en feniculaire. Il y a des Bar, boulangerie, supérette, restaurant à proximité. Merci à Franz et Stefania pour leurs accueil et conseil. L’accès peut être problématique pour les personnes à mobilité réduite (portions avec des escaliers).

Even more impressive is the hospitality of the owners, who were very willing and readily offered information to help you around the city, very consistent communication and very clear guidelines on how to locate the apartment when first arriving. Franz was exceptionally helpful with dinner recommendations and transfer options. We were in town for a concert and he arranged a dinner reservation before and transfer to the arena from the restaurant. He was available to assist us through our stay, and answered super quickly. We would highly recommend staying here!

He offered restaurant suggestions, gave us detailed directions for entry and also multiple locations, and secured a taxi service for us to the airport on the morning we left. We felt very safe and the room was clean. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we had plenty of towels. It wasn’t super close to a Metro station, however, there were bus stops nearby.

The location is excellent – it's close to the Quartieri Spagnoli and just a short walk from the cable car, which is perfect if you don’t feel like walking back uphill to the room. He let us know about the soccer match being played that evening and what to expect in the City. • Malcolm (10/5): Meraviglioso! - Breakfast not supplied but facilities were great for sorting out your own. Location is very convenient for the historic centre. Lots of different routes on foot, once you get to know some of the vicoli. The Metro at Amedeo is only 10/15 minutes or so walk away, and is a very useful line. The rather dilapidated appearance of the immediate outdoor surroundings on the approach to the Palazzo is rather typical of Napoli, and is starkly contrasted by the pristine cleanliness and the light, bright modern style within the apartments. Here nothing is lacking, and the proprietors keep in touch on WhatsApp to make sure every need continues to be met. They arranged the taxi for me from the airport, and then met me at the main road to show me in. For my return home, the Alibus service from Molo Beverello at only 5 euro was excellent, having found my way around by then. This is a superb base from which to explore an extraordinary city. It was all very good. Everything was supplied just as promised on the booking.

• Jennifer (9/5): Very helpful host - The host is super helpful. He proactively reached out before our arrival. Very close communication on directions, arrival instructions etc. He also helped us with our departure needs/questions including finding us an affordable ride to the central train station. It was a bit difficult to walk with our luggage. There are some stairs to get to the building and to the flat.
• Maya (8/5): lovely authentic location to enjoy Napoli, with a great host. Totally recommended. - Our host Franz was amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give us advice and recommendations. we also liked the location that felt very local and authentic. It is a bit noisy.

Location was close to the funicular station (best to avoid the steep hill walking back!), the castle and lots of restaurants in the spanish quarter/toledo. Franz was a great host, very fast to communicate and gave helpful instructions to get to the accommodation. Nothing
• Larisa-elena (10/5): Autentic Stay in Napoli - Everything ❤️ First of all the location, it’a very close to the city center, secondly the design, which is very beautiful and stylish and the person with which I intercat which was very kind and polite. The bonus is the view which is lovely in the morning, as you can see the golf and the coffee shop nearby, Sansone, which has amazing coffee and pantry. We had a really great time in Napoli. Thank you for having us! ❤️

• Keenjal (10/5): Loved it! - Location is perfect, the room is neat and clean. Balcony has really nice sea facing view. Stefano and Franz are wonderful hosts, they made our stay extremely comfortable and made us feel welcomed in Napels with presco and christmas treats at the time of check in! Tried the most delicious pizza on this trip thanks to Stefano’s reference. They even helped us with our luggage and dropped us off to the station.. sweetest hosts!

We are definitely repeating this visit. Thank you! There was nothing not to like. The location was perfect! Having the train nearby was a bonus!

• Van (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, modern, clean apartment. The big comfortable bed and shower is exactly what you need after a long day of traveling. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly with everything we needed. He helped to find amazing spot for dinner and helped us to easily get to the apartment, which is very well located to enjoy Naples. We highly recommend this place! -
• Aymen (8/5): Great location and very clean and comfortable - Very clean room with a smart TV, minibar, and air conditioning. The city center was within walking distance of the accommodation. Around the corner, there was a café with excellent coffee and breakfast called Sansone. The room was not really soundproof, and you could clearly hear the neighbors' music and passing motorcycles, even with the windows closed.
