Guest Reviews
- Jax07 (6/5): - The location Too small inside place, it is set up so it can sleep 5 but not enough seats to cater in lounge or dining
Too pricey for what you get
- Mauster (7/5): Nice 2 bed accommodation - The location was 2 minute walk from the beach. There were a few things missing such as a proper mirror, a hairdryer, some milk for coffee.
- Debra. (7/5): Over priced for the standard of accommodation. - Comfortable Price exceeded the accommodation.
- Emma (8/5): - Cute beach shack, clean and comfortable beds. No dishwasher or coffee machine. The one split system air con only just coped with the heat.
- Haitzinger (9/5): Short stay whilst attending a sporting event - Great location & had all the amenities we.were after. Nothing that comes to mind.
- Suzanne (6/5): Tired but comfortable property in nice area close to beach. - Location just a few minutes walk from beach and a local eatery. Parking spaces at front of property. Sofa was comfortable. New washing machine and drier and washing line in yard. Decent crockery and cutlery with detergent etc supplied for bowl washing up. A couple of chairs at the front for outside chilling. The window blinds all need changing in the property. The light streams into the main bedroom (from 5am during our stay). The shower room functions ok but needs some investment. The yard is a wasted space with just a picnic bench

- Val (6/5): Ok for summer, don't recommend for winter. - Location is walking distance to a beach that allows dogs. Surf was quite rough so not sure if calmer in Summer.
Parking right out the front, room for two car easily.
Enclosed grassy garden, safe for dog.
Comfy bed. Visited in June and place is cold. Being an old house it is draughty and the one air-conditioner in lounge is not sufficient.
The stove is under the chimney which is not fully sealed so need to be careful when cooking otherwise dirt and parts of the chimney end up in the pan.
- Roley (9/5): Superb - Loved the location and comfortable bed. Poor interior lighting, especially lounge room
Loo paper was about 5 sheets left. I thought there might be a spare roll somewhere. Luckily, we brought tissues.
- Charles (7/5): A good stay overall, but Bunbury is booked-out at the moment and rates are elevated. - The house is comfortable fitted out with all necessary amenities and offered space for cooking and relaxing in the lounge. The bedroom and living spaces are adequate for our needs and the house is a short walk from the beach. The neighbour is busy with a roof renovation project that created substantial noise through the shared roof structure being part of the semi (replacing gutters, angle grinding etc.) all throughout the weekend, for example until 6pm on the Sunday. There was a party on the outside balcony of the apartment building diagonally across that was very noisy on the Saturday night with party goers shouting outside on the balcony. The antenna to the tv was disconnected from power and the signal on certain channels was weak as a result (eg SBS), until we figured out to plug the antenna back in.
- Sara (9/5): Quiet Spot - A fabulous characterful home very close to the beach. Good pub within walking distance with an amazing sunset view.
The house had everything we needed apart from a little shade in the back garden.
We loved the neighborhood - it was quiet at night. We also had a chat with the neighbour who was very welcoming.
The main bedroom could do with blackout curtains as it was very bright very early in the morning.
We loved to sit out on the front verandah having a cuppa.
It was a little tired in places (the shower) but that sometimes comes with an older property.
I would definitely return if I travelled this way again.. Lack of shade in back garden.
- Marie (6/5): Pleasant - Location Very outdated, cracks in the ceiling and walls, just needs a big renovation and could be perfect. Very high rent for the standard it is at.
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Big backyard but no shade. Close to the beach and pub. Central location which was great The blinds in the bedroom don't keep out any light and there was no shade in the yard
- Nicole (10/5): Would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect for exploring Bunbury and surrounding areas. Great facilities - Such a cute property. Fabulous location, so close to the beach and very comfortable beds
- Cervelli (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Position, facilities, comfort, access to other venues, cafes, restaurants and close to wineries and breweries etc.
It was also very handy having a washer and dryer there although the clothes horse got used mostly.
I felt really safe there, being a 70yr old female, that was important. I was more than happy with everything.
- Jai (9/5): Superb -
- Sandrea (8/5): Comfortable beach shack to relax in for a couple of days - Well equipped, easy to find, close to the beach Leak in the roof, peeling paint on some ceilings
- Tarleia (10/5): An excellent stay and one I will be doing again - The coziness and comfort of the holiday home Nothing
- Lawson (6/5): Pleasant - Good position TV didn't work well, poor reception, also only 1 channel available. Leaking taps in barhroom and gas leaking 9 from old connection in living. Generally very run down.
- Kimberley (7/5): Good -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Keir (9/5): Perfect beach property for exploring the south West - We liked the proximity to the beach and it was absolutely perfect location and provision wise for exploring the area. Comfy beds and the shower and other utilities were excellent. Lovely space around the property and sunsets from the back window. N/A
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (10/5): Great location, close to everything - Property is lovely old style cottage feel to it. it’s in a great location, walking distance to the beach and close to the town. We would def come back and stay again.
- Huiskes (9/5): Superb - Just like a home away from home beautiful Lil noise with the win comes with age
- Zak (8/5): Very good -
- Amy (10/5): Lovely place to access the beach and town. - Cosy, clean, welcoming.
- Imogen (10/5): picturesque stay very easy going and definitely worth a trip back! - close to everything but still out of the way of the hustle and bustle 10/10 nothing was absolutely perfect
- Jean (8/5): Lovely but not enough bedding - Didn’t have one Sleeping was cold. There are no electric blankets and no extra blankets anywhere. We had to leave the reverse cycle AC on all night as it was so cold. This was a serious for me.
- Sarah (7/5): Great location - Great location and the property was as described. It had all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. The doonas are very light weight so some extra blankets would have been appreciated in winter.
Note to owners (doesn’t need to be included on the online review) - there was a leak with the very heavy rain and the laundry/toilet floor was very slippery. We think the leak was coming down the walls.
There was shattered glass in the front door curtain. I left it there so you could see it.
- Izak (10/5): Exceptional -
