- FURUTA (7/5): - ホテルからのぞむナイル川の景色が良かったです。カフェ兼ホテルの店内はかつてのエジプトの王家の肖像画や現代アートの絵で彩られ趣ある空間になっていました。

- Angel (3/5): Poor - This hostel is closed!!! The location is good and the coffee 😅 This hostel is closed. When I arrived there the bartender told me that the hostel is closed for good but because I have already pay the room he will speak with the owner to "open" just for me. So, in the end it was ok, i guess but I will not recommend.
- Oksana (1/5): The worst hotel stay ever. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to book there. - Absolutely nothing. It is not fit for purpose, as on the ground floor there is a shop, on the first floor a cafe and on the top floor there are two rooms. There is no bathroom for people staying in the room, so they have to use communal toilet in the cafe. The floor of the bathroom is filled with water not draining properly, so I almost killed myself, when I stepped inside the bathroom and slipped on the slippery floor without realising it was covered with water. It is not fit for purpose and should not be on booking.com.
I booked two rooms for myself and my friend, but upon arrival it turned out there was only one room available. The owner didn’t want to return the money and promised to prepare the second room by the time we returned in the evening. Stupidly I believed him, as I was really tired carrying my heavy backpack and just wanted to leave it there and go sightseeing. However, when we returned in the evening my friend had to share the room with the owner who slept on the premises. The people in the cafe were very noisy. The bed was uncomfortable, the door was difficult to lock.
In the morning we woke up early to go sightseeing, the owner saw us getting ready to leave, but when we were ready to leave the reception guy was sleeping on the floor near reception, the owner was gone, and the entrance door was locked from outside, so we couldn’t go anywhere. We woke up the receptionist, who also tried to open the door without any success, then he called the owner who had gone to the mosque to pray. So we had to wait for half an hour approximately till he returned and opened the door. I felt trapped inside and unsafe. If there had been a fire, we would have burned alive. I wanted to report the owner to the police, but I was in a hurry to go sightseeing and not aware where the police station was.
This was the most terrifying experience of a hotel stay in my life. Worse conditions would be only spending the night outside.
- Sara (8/5): Very good - The location was great. I spent a night there so i can go around for the sightseeing.. The staff was friendly and they helped me to get some directions for places I don't know about. Thanks I didn't like that the bathroom is not in the room it's downstairs which is not good for old people.. But for young people it's okay to go downstairs.. If you don't face any sickness it will be okay to stay there. And the beds are comfortable but not good for couples it's good for two people as they have small beds like a couch. Overall it's a good stay for easygoing - backpackers. Not for people who are looking for high expectations. .
- Josh (1/5): Please avoid! - I booked a private room here on booking.com (non-refundable) and when I arrived the owner told me he would be sharing the room with me. Afterwards he continued to lie to me, and say that I booked a private room but this is in fact a shared room. Scam
- Guillermo (5/5): Passable - Muhammad, the lad who is in charge of the Caffè, is quite nice, though he doesn't speak a word of English, but he manages to communicate with the customers The only toilet in the establishment must be shared with every single customer of the Caffè. The bathroom is in the 1st floor and the rooms are in the 2nd, and the shower is not a shower but a pipe in the bathroom. And it is not higienic at all..
- Pietro (5/5): OK for one night for the price but would pay the extra and stay elsewhere next time. - Good size TV in café.
Good view of the Nile. I was not aware I had to share the room with the owner.
Bed was not comfortable.
Bathroom not too inviting.
- Dariusz (10/5): Exceptional - Good experience
- Tanja (6/5): Pleasant -
