• Oleksii (6/5): Suitable only if you need somewhere to sleep and keep things. You don't want to spend too much time - The location is a pretty nice, quiet calm area. Near the apartments, there is a beautiful promenade, where a lot of different incredible birds live. There is a good chance you can park your car near the apartment. The premises - in the past, a shop or cafe on the 0th floor, converted into apartments. Inside is not very clean, there are a lot of ants and other insects running around. For the first time in my life, I don't want to use the shower at all for several days. The shower has a bad smell, is not clean, and very small space. There is also a rabid draft from all the cracks. Even when I go to bed, it blows from the wall into the back of my head. While it's warm outside, it's cold inside. While we were here, we got sick.
• Mihaly (6/5): Short break in Madrid - Good location, underground nearby, bus route in front of the "apartment". There are shops around, playgrounds and a walkway on the riverbank, so really family friendly area. Internet connection is good enough, kitchen equipped with everything you should need. The place used to be a basement or a shop that got converted to a small apartment. The main door opens directly to the street and there is a pub like place next door open until late. People drinking and eating there sit just in front of your door/windows and they are loud. There is not a single see-through window on the apartment, because the pedestrian traffic and the guests of the pub would look directly into your kitchen/living room area. So once you are inside, cannot look out as all the windows have obscured/textured glass installed. Ants. Loads. Smell of drain in the bathroom, you have to keep the bathroom window open all day. Noise all night. From the pub, from the traffic entering the building through the main door right next to the loft, drains, etc. No heating, the aircon installed was broken so during the cold nights of April it can be chilly. The shower installed is extremely small. I could not bend over or move my hands properly inside, even my wife complained about the space in it. And we are sporty, not obese. Check in 13:00 and check out 10:00 am, not negotiable.
