- Ipek (5/5): Passable -
- Ruben (8/5): Very good -
- Barragan (8/5): We think it was overpriced for the quality of the room. - It’s a nice property.
Paco, the owner, was a gentleman and help us the very first hour giving us a ride to Seville.
Emilio, the assistant, was very nice and try his best yo make us comfortable, we really like him a lot. So far away from Seville.
We had to walk about 9 kilometers from the bus stop to the property. Not good.
The owners should own a transportation kind to get at least to the bus stop!!
- Cristina (7/5): Good -
- Ezra (10/5): I loved it. - The hosts they were great people The location
- Figueroa (7/5): Good -
- Marino (8/5): Nice - Nice bed and good shower. Nice building.
The location is fine, when you have you transport.
- Rabin (5/5): A good way out of city centre but location wise it’s not a good way to spend - The property itself is ok ,antique and lots of potential but it’s very far away from the centre . Only recommend if you have private transport. No restaurant and supermarkets around if someone wants to buy something!
- Carreño (7/5): Good -
- Ryšard (7/5): Good -
- Smik (8/5): Very good - Really nice owner, I think, he was owner. Nice, quite place in village near of Sevilla 👌♥️ I was missing more stuff in kitchen, like plates, glases etc, but generally, was ok
- Kirsty (8/5): Very good -
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jesus (9/5): Traditional Andalusian Cortijo (farmhouse) which made me feel the authentic Seville vibe - I loved the place and the history behind it. Not everybody can show off they have been sleeping in an old marquis house with an unsolved secret inside. Thank you host for being so kind with us!
- Abdifatah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve.mcd (9/5): Superb -
- Aitouch (1/5): Bad -
- Natalie (7/5): Good Cheap Hostel. - The kitchen, rooms and bathroom were clean. showers hot. dorm beds had curtains. Emilio spoke English and was helpful. laundry €3 and dry €3. It was quiet in the countryside and plenty of secure free parking inside the compound. there were signs on the road which were easy to follow (and dirt road was no problem). cheapest hostel in Spain and good value for money. unfortunately there is long term guests who were all workers needing a cheap place to live. mostly men. one man spoke English and was incredibly drunk at 6pm and would not leave me alone when I was in the kitchen and Emilio told him to stop bothering me. There was no lock on the female dorm room.
- Natalka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonatas (8/5): Very good -
- Nikos (1/5): Bad -
- Chennarong (9/5): Value for money - The staff was really helpful The kitchen should be more clean.
- Florencia (10/5): Exceptional - good location if you pass nearby Séville. we stayed there because we had to take our flight next day. the staff is very friendly. good value
- Max (4/5): Except for the one woman - Emiliano is a friendly host. Place is clean. One female room mate was working in the middle of the night, talking, texting, buzzing sounds from her phone. Totally insane. Despite being a nice place these (apparent longstay) guests shouldn't be there.
- Mondal (9/5): Superb -
- Howard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arn (3/5): Poor -
- Roman (7/5): Good - Price. Quiet place. Towels for extra payment. Far from city center, but if you have a car, it can be ok.
- Taras (5/5): Passable - Good that we have booked there only 1 night. Good that parking was available inside the houseyard. It was clean in room, in bathroom/toilet and in other shared spaces. There was a kitchen available for guests, but we did not use it. Strange place with strange people. Difficult to find, somewhere in the middle of nowhere close to industrial area (by the way where was awful smell from in the evening). No towels in the room, shared bathroom/toilet, thanks God there was almost nobody in other rooms. Definitely not for pairs, not for families, maybe suitable for company of students or I don't know for whom. It looks like house for extremely not-picky workers from the nearby factories.
- Vosylius (8/5): excelent value for money, very friendly staff. wishing all the best, with love. Darius -
- Craig (5/5): Passable - Beautiful old biulding Wow it was scary far out in a dark neighborhood.
- François (10/5): Exceptional - We had an amazing stays ! Our hosts made sure we felt welcome :) I Can only recommend
- Kimberly (7/5): Cheap and clean place to stay in the Sevillian countryside! - Friendly host making sure I was okay during my stay and always offered to take me to the supermarket to buy food as it was a very long walk away to the nearest town. There was an indoor conservatory style space by the back patio as well as some outdoor spaces that could be made better by adding some simple seating and plants to relax in.
- Daniel (3/5): Poor -
- Gang (10/5): very good - This is my second stay. It was a great experience! I will come again. The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom were cleaned very well. The caretaker was very welcoming to me. He provided me with a lot of help and I am very grateful to him. nothing
- Cristian (8/5): Very good -

- Yosafi (9/5): Superb -
- Adrian (2/5): Very poor -
- Dmytro (4/5): Disappointing -
- Antonio (5/5): / - Cleaned Location
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (3/5): Poor - As for the utter basics, it was fine. The pillow was nice, mattress was okay. Basically, the "sleeping" part of the hostel met expectations. PLEASE spend an extra Euro and stay somewhere else. When I say this place is far, I mean it's FAR. You will absolutely do some walking or driving... more than 20 minutes (driving from town or walking from the nearest station). The staff is surprisingly inflexible... despite having customers travel so far. If you have ANY unusual situation, they do NOT want to deal with it. This includes the 10pm deadline for check-in. I showed up at midnight (Because, y'know, it's FAR), and was literally scolded for it. And when they say "check out at noon," they mean "get off the property," not simply out of the bed. I teach online, and had to beg them to let me hang out, so I could teach a 2pm class. This became a huge request, and it was like they were doing me a big favor. Finally, the Wi-Fi is spotty. Sometimes it's good, sometimes bad, and weaker in some parts of the property. No one or nothing gives you the password, either. I had to ask around for it (which is harder than it sounds). Casa Cortijo Olivar gives you only the basics, and so many reasons to go somewhere else.
- Piotr (8/5): Quiet and relaxing - Excellent manager on site.
Friendly and competent
- Daniel (6/5): Overpriced by opportunistic hosts - It's not awful, but they charged us almost 200 euros for two of us for one night because of a concert that was happening. With this in mind, of course it will reflect on this review.
It's okay for a hostel, though not as clean as we'd expect, and in terms of value for money, it was not good at all. This is what happens when you are opportunists and overcharge - you get lower reviews because people will want your service and accommodation to reflect what they pay. We did not get a 200-euro-a-night service.
- Luka (9/5): Superb -
- Danuta (6/5): Pleasant - Cheap. 1 night to stay, it was fine. Person who showed me around was kind and explained everything. Bathroom was clean and hot water in the shower. Clean kitchen and space in the fridge. Bed was ok. Temp was ok in the room too. Smell of chemicals when in bed, probably from spraying mattress for hygene etc. But it was clean. I am fairly sensitive to these things, maybe for someone else it wouldn't be an issue. Also the general atmosphere somehow wasn't particularly cosy or uplifting, big spaces, industrial like looking kitchen, some areas under construction. I mean for 12 eur, for one night... it was fine. Just saying, don't expect much apart from most basic necesites and you will be ok.
- Chaudhari (8/5): Very good - Very cool place, good way to experience outside of Sevilla - Dos Hermanas. NO DRINKING WATER
- Luka (7/5): Good -
- Nastasja (7/5): escape the city center but stay close to sevilla - this accommodation is located about 40 minutes from seville. it is in the countryside and you can escape the hustle and bustle of seville and at the same time be in the city quite quickly.
there is the possibility to stay in a women's room for the same price, everything is very spacious, there are enough toilets and bathrooms, everything is quite ok clean. the courtyard is beautiful, there is a pool and laundry costs 3€.
i was very lucky with the current staff, thank you marco for being so welcoming and making me feel at home! he helped everyone with everything! there is no supermarket nearby and the train station is half an hour walk away (no lighted pleasant way at night), kitchen has little equipment, if you are rather anxious and traveling alone as a woman it may not be accommodation for you, I have always felt comfortable, but I have also met other hostels where you are offered more security as an anxious person.
- Szymon (10/5): Just good - Monastry.... N/A
- Reinante (5/5): Don’t no -
- Saeid (1/5): Bad - Distance and don't finding the address
- Eleanor (5/5): Has great potential but a little pricy for what we got - It has great potential … Run down, kitchen dirty and not organised with so many backpackers staying there. Not enough fridges etc.
we had a lovely private room with ensuite, but unfortunately the smell from drains was really bad.
Groups were very loud with no rules and regulations around? Very easygoing all up, just maybe a little too much of that?
Iff you don’t have a car, don’t bother coming here, it’s very hard to get around and took us 40min by car to get into Sevilla. Train took 20min but you have to drive to metro station.
Road in and out shocking and for all of this I think price is a little too high
- Collin (8/5): It was nice not great - Not far from shops Showers
- Eirini (10/5): Exceptional - Great people. Comfortable rooms and kitchen. Beautiful backyard for chilling and meeting new people.!! I don't see something that I didn't like they are doing a good job, as kind of a new place. I am sure that if I go back, they will be even better.!!
- Ivan (3/5): Poor -
- Grega (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gladys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (5/5): In the middle of nowhere, close to nothing. It is great if want to escape a city and busy life -
- Shane (7/5): Good -
- Mgmal (8/5): Great value so close to Seville with clean room and private bathroom. - Convenient location close to Seville and in a semi rural/residential quiet area. Lovely old cotijo which was dated, but had modern bathroom, plenty of parking, wi-fi and a comfortable bed. It was good value for 50 euros nightly so close in a major city like Sevilla. A lot of the common areas were old and unclean, but the private areas like room were clean and nice. A very friendly and welcoming host.
- Jeremy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Leo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (6/5): It was ok. There were no stores around to buy water or food. - Marco was helpful. Chemical air freshners.
- Antony (1/5): Did not stay - I am still waiting for my money to be refunded by booking. Com and for derails of a tourist license for this place. We did not stay, no one was there when arrived.
- Vinnie (1/5): Bad - If I was a rich developer it has potential, other than that, nothing Dorm was dark, no obvious window, smelly. Weird person howling at the sky in a see-through night shirt. Very, very, isolated, you need transport, one hour walk to get food. Any food left in the cupboards/fridge was on a hippy commune basis - once in there anyone can help themselves. Looks glossy and bright with pictures, not quite that in reality. One dorm appears to be in the old stable block, just wooden bunks slotted in there.
- Yezid (10/5): Great experience in a quiet semi-rural neighbourhood - Paco is a great host, this historic place is getting put together nicely by him and his staff.
Beds are comfortable and the area is quiet and semi rural.
Mercadona is within a walking distance
Train is better from Hercules station (local) and not Bellavista (intercity) as there is more trains and ticket is cheaper to and from Sevilla.
Paco is happy to provide shuttle service if needed. I saw cool people staying here and wish to come back!
- Zakwan (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (1/5): Bad - Nobody speaks english and the location is far away from everything. The place is filled with homeless people. I booked 2 nights, left early in the first morning
- Arnaud (4/5): Do you smoke? - Staff was nice. The mattress was good. Very cheap yes, but it seemed that it was a Smoker retreat. Everything was about smoking and it was smelling inside the room. No water at night nor in the morning so I couldn't shower. A roommate left his phone beeping, then when I asked him to stop it I realized he has put in on vibrations so I heard it vibrate at night 😅
- Mumtaz (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect Everything was perfect
- Bianca (9/5): Superb - The owner is ready to help, assist and direct you in whatever you need help with. Big kitchen, good showers, nice garden and very quiet surroundings
- John (7/5): Good - Great location, very local The geography, it was hard to reach
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Comfortable and clean very helpful and friendly staff. Location was bit far from the city
- Tristram (7/5): Good in ways - The owner, Franco, was very nice and really cared for his guests. Good value for money as well. No one there speaks English, so if you don't speak Spanish to an okay level, then it can be hard-going communicating, as I definitely found it at times.
Apart from that: if you want to have easy access to the city center of Seville via public transport, then this is not the hostel for you.
- Anne (9/5): Superb - The owners were very friendly and personally showed us the place and told us about the rules. Everything was well thought through. There was much space to chill and connect with others. Also there was a gender neutral bathroom. The beds were bigger than usual and they had curtains. Every bed had an own reading light It was very difficult to reach by public transport and there were no towels, but that's all
- Mariyam (9/5): Overall it was awesome except the location as it was hard to get to the city and back - Place and staff Location
- Claudia (5/5): Passable -
- Yvan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Amelia (8/5): Very good - Nice staff and good atmosphere
- Morad (9/5): Superb -
- Angy (5/5): Passable - For one night I see it well. It's very long from Seville, the person who received us, did it as if reluctantly.
- Lina (5/5): Passable -
- Anwer (2/5): Very poor -
- Mohammed (4/5): Disappointing -
- Irene (4/5): Aldrig igen. - Pricey stay, bed ok. Appreciated with parking. We hardly got there. Incredibly bad road and a bridge we thought would brake... Never again even though it was cheap.
- Matías (8/5): Very good - The rooms are comfy and big.
There are a lot of bathrooms, i can shower easily It was cold in the room because the air was very high.
- Ladxidua (7/5): Good - Clean and calm It is far away from the city. You have to wait for the bus for a long time and then walk for 15 min. Once there, the wifi was not working.
- Sandesh (9/5): Good - Beds were clean Distance from the city . No public commute to the property
- Maria (1/5): TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! - I am a world traveler, a Booking customer for years, have never had such a terrible experience in every aspect of this place! Re-reading all reviews I cannot understand all the nice reviews, not only about cleanliness but about the guests that were there, the “receptionist “, the filthy kitchen , the terrible back entrance from the parking. Still surprised that Booking publishes this horrible property. Before getting there I asked about public transportation to Seville and the response was misguided because to get a bus you have to walk 5 kms through a very unpleasant and unsafe neighborhood!! We left right away, fortunately finding a great place in Seville that cost $20 more!! Terrible in every each way!
- Jovan (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Kopy (9/5): Superb -
- Justine (7/5): Good priced oasis on a hot Seville summer's day - Air-conitioner for the over35°C summer heat. The location - there was nothing around the area (restaurant or convenience store).
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Quiet place to stay and very nice staff and manager.
- Maria (7/5): Good -
- Mustafa (5/5): It was so so - It is in a quiet place and nice atmosphere. But it is far away from the city center
