E-bike tocht met gids. Voor 2 pers. 170€ Maar die moet je er niet bij nemen.
- Marion (9/5): Prachtig duurzaam hotel met erg vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten - Erg mooi hotel, ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, prachtige locatie aan de zee. Ongeveer 10 min lopen naar het publieke strand van tarrafal. Alles erg netjes en mooie tuin. Beduidend lekkerder eten dan andere restaurants die vaak dezelfde dingen aanboden. Schoonmaaksters maakten ons al om 8:30 wakker voor de schoonmaak. We waren wel vergeten de ‘do not disturb’ kaart aan de buitenkant te hangen maar voor alsnog aan de vroege kant voor ons. Daarnaast hebben we ook ontzettend genoten van een goede massage. De massage ruimte was wel vrij simpel en luidruchtig (je hoorde andere gasten buiten praten en lachen) wat opzich niet erg is maar het is natuurlijk het fijnst als het gewoon lekker stil is tijdens zo’n moment van ontspanning.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. Our room was absolutely perfect, with a lovely little balcony overlooking the sea. Waking up to that view every morning was unforgettable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay on Santiago! 🌴

- Marcia (9/5): Um lugar perfeito para relaxar - A simpatia e profissionalismo de todos os colaboradores sem exceção. A comida e a localização. A limpeza, a beleza dos quartos e da paisagem. O telhado do do edifício onde ficamos tem painéis solares (existe o compromisso louvável por parte do eco resort de serem 100% livres de emissões até 2027, creio) no entanto acho que deveriam informar os hóspedes de que existe um sistema de refrigeração dos painéis solares que se activa às 3am. No nosso caso a essa hora acordámos em sobressalto porque começamos a ouvir um barulho enorme como se estivesse a cair um temporal por cima das nossas cabeças. E demorámos algum tempo até percebermos o que era e a voltar a adormecer. Portanto, creio que seria importa gerir as expectativas dos hóspedes e explicar que isso pode acontecer. (Demos este feedback ao colaborar que fez o nosso check out) Outra coisa é o barulho incessante de portas a bater. Não sei se eram os outros hóspedes ou a porta de acesso à cozinha. Mas até por volta das 23h e depois a partir das 7am há um bater de portas e todo o quarto treme. Ou seja se são pessoas a quem o barulho incomoda não recomendo a ficarem neste hotel ou pelo menos na parte onde ficámos.

La taille (humaine) de l'hôtel, loin du tourisme de masse. La localisation permettant des activités variées( plages et randonnées) Le prix des repas un peu élevé. L'accès a la mer depuis le ponton et l'échelle pourrait être amélioré. Remarques ne concernant pas l'hôtel: La plage n'est pas aussi "paradisiaque" qu'indiqué (eaux turquoises et sable blanc) mais c'est une jolie plage mêlant bateaux de pêche et baigneurs (locaux et touristes), dont les accès mériteraient un nouvel aménagement. La ville n'est pas très belle.

A cama faz bastante barulho, a madeira é antiga e precisa de reparações Muitos bichinhos (aranhas) dentro do quarto. Num hotel localizado numa zona onde a língua materna é o português, o menu do restaurante é inglês, não havendo outras opções.

Le petit-déjeuner était excellent avec des produits frais et du pain frais fait maison par le boulanger de l'hôtel. La cuisine du restaurant était aussi vraiment excellente, les produits assurément frais et cuisinés avec goût, bravo au personnel de cuisine. Personnel de service très sympathique et attentif. En bref, un hôtel où l'on se sent vraiment bien. Les prix du restaurant étaient un peu chers, la bouteille de vin Cha de Fogo, plus du double du prix que dans les autres restaurants que nous avons fréquentés. Un sèche cheveux dans la salle de bain aurait été le bienvenu.

Pas de draps dans le lit, mais une sort de housse de couette individuelle en coton. Pas de sèche cheveux. Et une seule petite bouteille d'eau par personne pour 3 nuits. Le restaurant pour le dîner est un peu cher également.
- Ainars V. (4/5): I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Verde and Tarrafal. - There are actually only two very positive things. First, the view from the hotel. And also the view from our room. Spacious balcony (we had such a room), great view of the ocean. Second, the location in Tarrafal. Very close to the center, the beach, and the place where fishermen arrive in the morning. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the hotel service and everything else that such a hotel could or can offer. Unfortunately, I have a lot to say here. First, the price-service ratio is zero. For 280 euros a day in Cape Verde... If diplomatically, then everything is bad. Second, the breakfast was very, very minimalist. And the food we ordered was also not of high quality. We ordered egg dishes twice for one breakfast, waited half an hour, then simply left. When, as we were leaving, I scolded the guy who served the guests, he just said - "oh, I forgot, but we will make it right away". I guess this is not really normal. But, it would still be a trifle. After all, who doesn't. But not "sorry", or anything else. In general, the attitude was quite harsh. Knowing many hotels around the world (I have been to 108 countries around the world), I have never encountered such indifference anywhere. Third, the quality of the hotel's dinners could also be (and this is also diplomatically speaking) better. Burnt food, disinterested attitude and not even a greeting from the staff... But I guess that would be asking a lot. Moreover, it is possible to compare - the restaurant in the hotel directly across the street has excellent cuisine, excellent service and for half the price. Fourthly, we also have an opinion about the general attitude. I do not demand that we be treated in any special way. However, basic courtesy, minus the greeting in the morning or evening, would still be required. Fifth, the room decor, furniture, and everything in the rooms definitely doesn't match the price. Not even close to being worth it. In other words, I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Verde and Tarrafal. Especially since we really enjoyed other hotels and services in Cape Verde. So this is not the norm.

- Mariana (8/5): Óptima experiência focada nos pormenores, a melhorar as condições de redes mosquiteiras dos quartos. - A vista do quarto é incrível. A decoração dos espaços e os pequenos pormenores dos quartos, tornam-na numa óptima experiência. Adorei ouvir os passarinhos quando estava no quarto de banho. Os funcionários foram muito prestáveis. Era o aniversário do meu marido e no pequeno almoço surpreenderam-nos com um bolo e com os parabéns! É dada muita importância a estes pequenos pormenores que fazem da estadia uma experiência inesquecível. Deveriam melhorar as condições das redes mosquiteiras dos quartos. Para o preço cobrado por quarto, não me parece admissível que apareçam imensos mosquitos no quarto de banho por falta de manutenção das redes mosquiteiras ou de limpeza. Também nos apareceu uma aranha enorme na cortina do quarto, mas temos a agradecer aos óptimos funcionários que rapidamente a retiraram do quarto.

Je suis très déçue au prix de la nuit c'est dommage.

Le restaurant était également incroyable, les plats étaient délicieux. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! Le seul point négatif : le sol n’est pas très pratique pour tirer les valises, et il n’y avait pas de personnel pour nous aider. Après la longue route depuis Praia, nous étions très fatigués, et devoir porter nos valises jusqu’à la chambre a été un vrai calvaire.

- Christian (5/5): Relaxing stay at a rocky beach - King Fisher Village is nicely located about 1km outside of Tarrafal city, at an atmospheric beach section. The hotel offers spacious rooms, partly combined with a separate kitchen which can be reached over the balcony. The rooms and the kitchen are generally well equipped, and the location is suitable to relax for a while. There is also a small pool next to the beach and the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast seved at the restaurant is decent. Since there is only a rocky beach next to the hotel, access to the sea is only possible over a rather uncomfortable ladder. So you hardly get to see people swimming there. To get to Tarrafal's main (sandy) beach, it is either necessary to take a car/taxi or to walk which takes approx. 20 minutes. The hotel's pool area is also a bit narrow. The room's facilities seemed partially a bit outdated, and Wifi was very weak and sometimes not working in my room.

- Nicola (9/5): Schön gelegene, sehr gepflegte Unterkunft - Das Village liegt etwas abseits vom Strand, ist dadurch aber sehr ruhig und an einem wunderschönen Ort auf Felsen gebaut. Den Strand erreicht man in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Zimmer sind groß und bieten alles, was man braucht, auch unser Balkon war sehr groß mit Meerblick. Das Frühstück ist super. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Auch das Personal ist sehr nett und man bekommt jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Wir haben auch einen Schnorchelausflug über das Hotel gebucht, waren alleine auf dem Fischerboot und hatten einen tollen Vormittag. Auch Fahrradtouren können vor Ort gebucht werden. Wir haben auch einmal im Restaurant gegessen, das Essen war sehr gut, wenn man europäisch essen möchte, die Bedienung top. Der Preis ist für die Kapverden sehr hoch, dafür bekommt man europäischen Standard auf sehr gutem Niveau.

Nous avons eu une chambre vue mer mais au-dessus du restaurant... Le bruit est très très très gênant y compris le matin au démarrage du service. Grasse matinée à proscrire et coucher tôt aussi même avec les fenêtres fermées. Le prix reste élevé pour le cap vert mais on paie l emplacement et le confort !!!!

Tip om de rekening bij uitchecken te controleren (twee factuurregels verkeerd bij ons) Hadden wat meer zonbedjes bij het zwembad/strand mogen liggen.
