The location is excellent, with a large shopping mall directly connected to the hotel. Overall it was well worth the money. Although some staff members could not speak English, they were still very willing to assist.

- Benjamin (10/5): Almost perfect. - The service staff from the door to the counter desk to be room service to the breakfast table are all impeccable and knowledgeable. Love the details inside of the hotel room. The room is spacious and with a very comfortable bed. But if you intend to add another bed, it might be quite challenging. It does come with a day bed near the window. Just request an extra pillow and blanket. This hotel is next to a big shopping mall with all the high-end shops. There's no bidet 😅 in the toilet. It was not a deal breaker, but it would be a perfect score for our family.

Inclusive um dia solicitei um prato que não estava no cardápio, simples, e eles fizeram para min. Localização ótima, com um shopping ao lado e rua muito tranquila e arborizada. Tive uma excelente estadia, recomendo !

- Florence (10/5): Good and Bad - Grand Hyatt has a distinctive design to its architecture. Service from Suzanna was excellent. However, when we booked the guestroom, we used the AI Chat to enquire about a rollaway bed and was informed that it’d be inclusive in the room rate. It was not!! When we brought this up, front desk disclaimed it without even checking. Such miscommunications would not have happened if we were talking to a human and not a chatbot. It wasn’t a good experience. I think Hotels.com should take responsibility for such miscommunications. I have thoughts of not booking via Hotels.com once I’ve made full use of my rewards points.

- Sabrina (10/5): Amazing hotel in very good location - This was our first stop in Yunnan and I have to say the hotel was amazing! It must be quite new, as everything still looks very sparkly! Rooms are super functional, nice size and very pretty. Every restaurant we went was great! The breakfast buffet is amazing! We had a buffet dinner there for New Year's Eve and it was super good too. Once we had a small snack in the lobby lounge on the ground level and the food was also fantastic and so was the staff! Bonus points for the next door shopping mall which is very cool too. Would definitely recommend when in Kunming. NA
