Guest Reviews

- Andrejka Cunjac (9/5): Lep in miren kotiček v centru Rima - Enostavna in jasna navodila za vstop v apartma. Odlična komunikacija z lastnikom. Zelo udobna postelja. Funkcionalno stanovanje in dobro izkoriščen prostor. Zelo dobra lokacija (10 min peš do Koloseja, do Foro Romano), v bližini razni bari, trgovine, pekarne, restavracije.

- Ali Nesil (10/5): Price / performance 👍 - The espressos waiting for us each morning and the umbrellas left for us in case of rain in Rome were truly thoughtful touches. A faint smell of humidity and the dripping water from the air conditioners.

- Mandrovich (9/5): Superb - The apartment was really nice, good space and great location. The only bad thing was some nights the bar next to us puts music a bit loud, so it's hard to sleep.
- Mazza4322 (10/5): Best location, great hosts! 💙🇮🇹💙 - We could not fault any part of our stay! The location is superb, right in the heart of things with shops, snacks, restaurants and bars. Colesseum 12min walk away Trevi and others within 30min walk and Cabour subway just around the corner for links to Vatican. Honestly, we could not ask for a better place to stay. Marcus and Hassan were great with communication and the secure door link for access was super simple. A great spot for a couple. The sofa was super comfy and the bed too, really helped after a day of exploring! Just as a note but I personally didn't mind. Only pillows were memory foam but plenty available and if you're over 6" (which i am, just) do mind your head in the bedroom! You'll spend most of the time in there horizontal lol but just be mindful 😊

- Nicole (4/5): Great location but horrible sewage smell - The location was amazing and it was a cool apartment. I liked the Vikey key, it was very easy to get in and out. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was an intense sewage smell. We contacted the host and they did not respond for a while, when they finally responded they were unable to come take a look to see what was causing the small. We think it was coming from the sink but it made the stay truly very uncomfortable.
- Jinsu (5/5): Passable - Sofabad was not good. It was very uncomfortable.
Kitchen was not good. There was not pots.
- Sammy (10/5): We recommend Monti Holiday House to anyone coming to Rome! - Absolutely amazing property in an amazing location. We enjoyed every second of our stay in Monti Holiday House! Nothing. We loved absolutely everything about the property!
- Rosy (7/5): Excellent location would recommend - Excellent location! Really nice lounge and mezzanine area. Good shower No windows, kitchen is functional but in a cupboard, not the best experience using, but not an issue for a couple of nights. Stove top and a fridge etc
- S (7/5): A good central location but a noisy stay. - Accommodation was in a good central location and the bed was comfy with good air conditioning. We were kept awake multiple times during the night by what we believe was people upstairs getting 'amorous', it was a repetitive creaking noise that was very loud overhead. The accommodation is basement level and the noise from the above bar next door was so loud also. The digital lock entry wasn't super convenient to use, would've preferred a simple key entry.
- Lohrman (7/5): Small apartment at a good location. - Great location! It's within walking distance of many of the sights in Rome. There are lots of options for food in the neighborhood. I never could get the app to open the apartment door. I ended up typing in the code every single time we went into the apartment. The app worked fine for the building door. We would hang a towel on the bathroom door for some privacy because the "curtain" on the door is transparent.
- Christine (7/5): Good - Location to Metro and Giro Little to any natural light or airflow. Cocktail bar next door Fri, Sat, Sunday night with noise til 12-1am. We were so tired, that it didn't really bother us, but may some if you'd like an early night
- Naidoo (7/5): Amazing location close to all major attractions - Great location. Close to all the major attractions and restaurants. The apartment was well equipped. Self check in was a little bit complicated, but instructions were easy to follow. The apartment is on the ground floor, so no need to use the stairs or lift. The couch gave me a rash, I think it just needs a deep cleaning.

- Damira (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (8/5): Absolutely fabulous. - The massive bonus to this property is its location. Is it so perfectly central that with a teenager in tow we could access all the ancient attractions on foot. Loads of character in the locality and plenty of places to eat and drink well. Very close to the metro too. The noise from the bar beside us bothered us at the weekend, we bought earplugs from a local pharmacy which helped a lot but it is worth considering if you’re travelling with children, it went on quite late but this is the only singular downside to this wonderful place.
- Wing (8/5): Very good - Clean and cozy room.
Able to drop our luggage in advance. The heater air conditioning in the living room didn't work well.
Have to bear with the cold during the winter.
- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maciej (6/5): Great location, but with a few inconveniences - The location is phenomenal. The Colosseum is just around the corner and there are lots of nice breakfast places and restaurants nearby. Very picturesque area.
The contact with the owner was flawless, very nice, it is clear that he cares about the guests' comfort.
The apartment has new appliances and is tastefully decorated. The disadvantage is the inability to let fresh air into the apartment other than by using air conditioning. Windows cannot be opened.
The sewage smell from the kitchen sink was also problematic. The toilet was a bit unstable and the bathroom handle fell off every now and then.
Upon arrival, we also had a problem with water leaking from the toilet bowl, but it was quickly repaired by the owner.
Most of these flaws are things that can be improved, and it's understandable that a new place might have such inconveniences. I definitely wouldn't write this place off on this basis, because it has a lot of potential - the owner's approach was very positive.
- Tatevik (8/5): Good place to stay for short holiday - Overall was good, there were many amenities we could use, the location was perfect: 5 min walk to the Cavour station. Streets were calm and nice. The heating was done by a conditioner and the first floor was very cold, hard to make warm. Meanwhile the roof bedroom was very hot. There were no windows (only small ones in the kitchen and toilet).
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Rodgers (10/5): Fantastic stay in an excellent location - Lovely location in Rome, in a vibrant area - just a 5-10 minute walk to both the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Online check-in was super easy and convenient, the instructions form the host were very clear and concise. The apartment is tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable.
