Guest Reviews
- anna (8/5): - El lugar es muy bonito, con una antigua iglesia al lado, con espacios verdes y cerca del pueblo, con caminos para hacer muy chulos. Las personas responsables muy atentas.

- Overholser (1/5): Hell! - Nothing. It was a nightmare. The location of this property in relation to the city of Granon is completely misleading; it is much farther away than indicated. Google Maps will lead you astray while searching for this unpleasant place.
Upon arrival, I encountered an arrogant owner who clearly holds a disdain for pilgrims. He didn’t even bother to acknowledge my presence. Instead, he sat smoking a cigarette, eyeing me like I was a criminal. He demanded to see my confirmation number and passport. Additionally, the noise from his friends partying in the front yard was intolerable, and the prices for beer were three times higher than what you'd pay elsewhere. I ended up walking two miles back into town just to find dinner.
I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs; it feels like a living hell. The only reason I chose it was the lack of available options in nearby towns. It seems as if the owner is intentionally repelling pilgrims, ensuring that no one wants to return. This experience was nothing short of awful.
- Carol (3/5): Disappointing - I was grateful I could have a drink after my long walk that day on the Camino.
The surroundings outside was pleasant.
2 other pilgrims stayed there so I didn't feel alone. I think it is VERY important that the owner takes the name Albergue off the description of this property. I felt deceived. I have stayed in many albergues on the Camino and this one is not one.
The owner seemed easily bothered by any questions I or the other pilgrims asked. If the other 2 pilgrims hadn't shown up I would not have felt safe staying there
5th by myself.
It was dirty. The food was below standard. Very disappointing.

- Aurea A. (9/5): Maravillosa estancia - Albergue rodeado de naturaleza. El personal muy amable y la comida del bar deliciosa!
¡Sin duda nos volveremos a alojar! Por la noche hacía calor y no había ventilador
- Neil Bainbridge (10/5): - Great place to stay. The staff were amazing, and the food was superb. The friendliest chef helped me with my language barriers and completed this with a smile all day. Excellent value for money and great beer and wine selections.
- Matias Pedro (8/5): - TODO EL LUGAR MUY AGRADABLE Y MUY TRANQUILO . UNA ATENCION MAGNIFICA
- Irene (10/5): - El entorno es una maravilla, la comida, y el trato, super buenos.
- Christopher (7/5): Some way off the Camino route - Good size room. Very nice evening meal. Room cold till central heating warmed radiators some hours after we arrived. Hot water tap had to be run for a long time before hot water came through. Location is about a mile off the Camino route.
- Ronel (9/5): Superb -
- Kim (2/5): A terrible experience I hope to never happen again. - The property in google maps took us to an abandoned warehouse in Granon. The ad was misleading. It said it was only 50 m from centre of town. It turned out to be another 1.5 km outside of town. We called the property 3x. The line was out of order.
After an hour we tried calling again as we had no where else to go. We had just finished walking 29 k that day. The owners phone worked and he picked us up. The room smelt like old smoke. We had no light bulbs in the lamps in the room. That was corrected when we asked. We asked for a ride back to town in the am as we were doing another 29 k. We wern’t expecting to be so far out of town. We agreed on 8:00am. We were ready at 7:50 am. The owner didn’t get up till 9:00 am. He said we had to wait till 9:30 ish. We decided to walk as he was not reliable. Terrible experience. We weren’t comfortable at this facility.
I would not recommend this place for Camino Pilgrams. Too far away from Camino Trail
Old Smokey smell in room
Very disorganized
- Barry (6/5): Pleasant -
- Munson (1/5): Bad - The building looked nice from outside. Avoid at all costs!!! The address on booking.com is incorrect. It's actually 1+ miles outside of town (not cool when you walk 12 miles). The bathroom had bad sewer gas.
- Wadlow (1/5): Disappointed from the get go - We never made it.The address was a complete lie.So we gave up cause we couldn't find it.And then we found out it was over 1.2 miles away from the location. We ended up at a tractor garage. The map was totally incorrect. The description was totally incorrect. Please.
Read the above was tremendously unhappy
- Pat (2/5): Very poor - x location. not very clean. food.
- Vickie (8/5): It was a nice place. Food next door made fine pizza - It was on the Camino trail Rooms were cramped. Bunk beds
- Ray (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Sebastian and Amid were wonderful. Location was 1.7 kms out of the town. A long way for pilgrims who have already walked a long way.
- James (4/5): Disappointing -
- Laurelle (9/5): Superb -
- Tania (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff and amazing food. The chef takes great pride in his meals and they were fantastic. Jose, the bartender was so lovely and friendly and made the stay! The location was so tranquil, just out of town but much better than the town centre.
- Lisa (4/5): 1.5 km from center of town, not 350 as advertised. - The bartender was nice Location. Price
