- Tina (7/5): Very short stay staff were accomodating. Clean and large room. - Room was a good size. Big bed was super comfy. The single not so comfy. Nice view. Unfortunately there were kids running around until after 1am and I got limited sleep all night. Once they stopped it was lovely.
- Kerry (1/5): Overpriced with no service or facilities - The bed was comfortable and the unit was sparse but clean ! Overpriced . Nearby pubs are closed on Monday and Tuesday ( when we stayed!) There was a microwave in the room but no cookware no use it !
The BBQ didn’t work that well but eventually worked however there were no utensils!( I had to use a fork to turn the meat !) No service or humans seen during this stay ! BBQ was not cleaned for our second night ( birds and rodents had a great time!) I was extremely disappointed in this stay ! I messaged the management yesterday and received no response!I was disappointed that I had booked 2 nights!!
- Kelli (6/5): Good - Location and restaurant The beds absolutely terrible
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Tracey (10/5): Beautiful location, quiet and comfortable accommodation. - The location was amazing. It was great to have a pool close by. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was hard to check-in as we had to walk around the complex to find someone to talk to. The phone was engaged. There were a large amount of sandflies (although this is no fault of the place), so if you plan on visiting, take rid!
- Stanzee (9/5): - A very relaxed stay. Staff were very helpful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I woke up so refreshed. Very quiet and well maintained. Will definitely stay again.
- Melanie (9/5): Not my first stay and won’t be my last. - Beautiful location clean rooms Check in time could’ve been more flexible

- gayden (7/5): - Very happy.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Kelly (5/5): Loved the location and beds we’re comfy - Location Lack of maintenance, the Bbq didn’t but we can’t cook in the rooms. The bins and recycling were all
Over flowing and they were worse after Christmas Day. Should have been empty before hand. Pool was dirty
- Nicholas (10/5): -
- Sonya (6/5): Shouldn't be so expensive - The location, right on the water, was beautiful. Rooms very close and not soundproof at all. Upstairs got home late, it happens, but sounded like a herd of rhino stampeded the building.
- Gabrielle (7/5): - Nice large fridge in room. It's nice to sit and watch the boats come in. Great restaurant. Can't sit outside without insect repellent on. Midgees are terrible. Expensive for what it is.
- Alexander (7/5): Basic, suitable, but room for improvement. - Location and access to the boat ramp. The restaurant was pretty good too. Friendly staff. Difficult to check in “after hours” (7pm on a Saturday night). Nobody answered the after hours phone and I had to ask at the restaurant.
- Michael (5/5): it was ok - I thought the accommodation and food prices were overpriced for the quality prices
- Ethan (10/5): -
- Hugo (7/5): -
- Jason (10/5): - Location
- Carmon (10/5): -
- Kylie (10/5): -

- PAC64 (8/5): - Location Location Location Midges
- Lynette (8/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): Great atmosphere - Location Parking for units
- Angela (10/5): - Easy to park, beautiful comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, very clean and fresh interior, easy walk to the restaurant for dinner, nice and quiet, great aircon Nothing

- Danielle (5/5): - The views Broken door handles just needs updating
- Jodie (10/5): Comfortable quite and clean - Everything Nothing
- Wade (10/5): Pool was great staff was awesome fishing was good I’ll be back 👌🏻 - Close to the water and facilities It’s a shame the restaurant and bar isn’t open weekdays but it wasnt a deal breaker
- Emma (9/5): - Generous sized room, comfy bed, great water pressure, wonderful location, pool was amazing
- Muller (7/5): - The room was comfortable, and the view spectacular The room was comfortable, but not worth the $200 a night. The aircon was not adjustable
Reception was not opened when we checked in. No emails were sent advising of what to do for a late check in.
- Joan (10/5): - Lovely place to stay
- Paul (10/5): Awesome location, staff, rooms, view, food, parking, pool - Plenty os secure parking, Front desk, I was early, they worked hard to get me in the room, could not have done more to help and the cleaner was great. The room was clean, cool with a good view, the location was perfect as I just complete the Thorsborne Hiking trail, the pool temp was great and a nice pool, the beer was cold at the bar\resturant, the dinner was awsome, There was nothing about this place I didnt like, this location was perfect for my needs, the staff were great - all good
- Kayeng (8/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): A piece of paradise - Room was clean comfortable and adequate for what it is. Great views right on the waterfront. Very quiet and restful even though they where all booked out. Room needed a bit of love. Flyscreens need replacing as mossies are a problem being so close to water and mangroves. PowerPoint for microwave not working had to move every time we needed to use it also could replace it with a more modern user friendly one and closest bbq not working either. Bit frustrating when you plan meals around this equipment, the restaurant is very nice but too expensive and choice limited to eat there every night.
- julie (9/5): - I loved the location, the Staff were super friendly and helpful, the Meals were superb
- Raimo (9/5): Nice Room - The room itself was clean and quite comfortable, the view from the balcony is great at high tide. All up, we enjoyed the stay.. We would have liked to be able to get breakfast onsite before checking out.
We didn't see a staff member at all, checking in or out.
- Meagan (10/5): - Close to everything Nothing
- Robert (10/5): -
- Paul (8/5): -
- Fullerton (9/5): -
- Alyssa (8/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): - Close to restaurants Too short of stay. Ha ha
- Sara (9/5): - The rooms and convenience to the boat ramp
- Vicki (10/5): Great overnight stay - Location Nothing
- jeff (9/5): -
- Patricia (6/5): Overnight stay at Lucinda. - Location. Dinner at Slipway on site restaurant. Easy parking/access to ground floor room. Pleasant view from room & terrace. Looked like a nice pool. Poor communication. Indifferent attitude of reception staff. Noisy appliances in room - fridge, aircon & toilet cistern. Only one bedside table .If staying for more than one night we would have requested a different room.
- Andrew (5/5): Adequate fir overnight stay - Quiet location, comfortable room & beds Ground floor room at end of complex had limited water view. Restaurant and bar closed.
- Peter (5/5): A nightmare from beginning to end - Nothing much Room nothing to rave about, Restaurant and Bar despite advertised when bookings open 10am to 10pm 7days a week, was not open on the Tuesday day of arrival only opened on Wednesday to Sunday 11 to 2pm, then 5pm to 9pm.
Closest pub closed, BBQ on site did not work, ended up having sandwiches for dinner, no Breakfast as advertised. Wednesday the Restaurant was full with locals, were lucky they found us a seat and only under pressure. Left early in the morning and will not be back.
- vanessa (10/5): - Beautiful location
- Andrew (8/5): Great, quiet location but minimal facilities. Will stay again. - Water and mountain views from balcony, very quiet and peaceful, comfortable beds and god-size room Only one bedside table in room, no place in the room to eat meals, mozzies & sandflies outside, restaurant & bar was closed
- Okan (10/5): Exceptional - Reception close and they didn't sent any message
- Ros (10/5): Not too far from town or the jetty, great spot for the fisherman. - The bed was the best I have ever slept in; it was like floating on a cloud, loved it. Staff were amazing, I had been booked for an upstairs room, but being my age and find stairs unachievable they were only too happy to give me another ground floor room, and this was after hours. The whole place is bright and clean looking, the cabins look new and lovely. Close to the water with views. More simple numbering to follow would make rooms easier to find.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Jaimylee (8/5): Very good - Was a good stay and convenient with the restaurant right there. Ants throughout the room and the TV didn't work.
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (8/5): Very good -
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (7/5): Good - Was very nice looking out over the water.
- Wayne (7/5): Good - Nice simple and comfy room Front gauze doors couldn't lock.
Like they had been broken into previously and not fixed. We like to sleep with window or door open and was not possible.
- Franziska (7/5): Nice family-weekend away! - The location is nice - right across Hinchinbrook Island with stunning views! The grounds and gardens are well-kept, and the pool looked inviting (didn't use it as it was too cold). The bungalow was cute, and the layout was perfect for a family of 3. The boat ramp is located right next to the resort, and a couple of fishing spots are also within walking distance. The restaurant, although pricey, has fabulous food and drinks and super-friendly staff! There were lots of families, so great for our son to play with other kids! A couple of things: The family-bungalow was advertised to have a full kitchen (with full-sized stove and oven in the photos) and BBQ listed, but only had a small 2-hot plate oven combo. If you plan to cook your own meals for more than 2 people, it gets tricky. So we ate at the restaurant instead, which is quite expensive, but really good. The BBQ is communal, was dirty and later occupied. There were also only minimal utensils in the kitchen, no sharp knives or peeler, etc. The listing also stated "heating", so we expected a reverse cycle air-con, which it did not have (cooling and fan only). You won't need it often here (only winter months), but we are from Cairns and did feel cold. A small bedside light would also not go astray - lights are either super bright or off, which meant the whole family went to bed at the same time.
- Jonathan (7/5): Overall fine. - Great views. Good location for hiking Hinchinbrook the next day. Felt a bit soulless but maybe the weather didn’t help. Possibly a bit overpriced.
- Mcdermott (8/5): Was a chilled out first night of holidays - thank you - It was clean comfortable relaxing and the facilities were well thought out plus the restaurants in walking distance were fabulous. Considering it had jug microwave cutlery and crockery it’s a shame there wasn’t a little sink - the bathroom handbasin is a bit underwhelming.
I’d still come back in a heartbeat though.
- Hawkins (10/5): Exceptional - Go fishing, wash and park your boat, eat some exceptional food then rest all in the one place. I will definitely be back. Thankyou
- Jarrod (9/5): Superb -
- Amy (10/5): Great for fisho's - Perfect spot to stay if you are fishing in the Hinchinbrook - Right next to the boat ramp. Would stay with family or with friends for a getaway in future. Restaurant is good to have there too as there isn't much around in eating.
- Nicola (7/5): Good - Food was terrible at the restaurant
- Rhonda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (2/5): Poor value for money paid - The position by the water A basic motel room rather than a resort. We had a room for three but only 2 mugs, 2 glasses etc. Shower had no soap rack, toilet cleaner was very rusty. Worst of all, all bar and restaurant facilities were close for a wedding which dominated the place
- Kerryn (5/5): not the best - no hot water to unit meal at restaurant over cook steak went down road to the other pub matter meal and service
- Helenr (8/5): Very good - The restaurant was very enjoyable, recommended. Free drink first those staying and reasonable prices. Open Wednesday to Sunday, I'd go back again happily.
Nice garden area.
Lucinda is a favourite of fishermen so was well regarded by the anglers. For almost 250 a night, I'd expect a bedside table and more than just one chair! Ample room for a small table and chairs. There were some outside though.
Pool was empty too, I had been looking forward to a swim.
- Fiona (2/5): Did not feel like I received value for money. Room was old and dated. No hot water - Location. A fun Playground was close Rooms were very dated. No hot water for showering. Facilities need upgrading. Staff were not very friendly
- Frisby (9/5): Superb - Very well set up for what we were using it for. Highly recommend. The air con in the main bedroom needs fixing, but otherwise, a great stay.
- Katrina (8/5): Hidden gem - The location was excellent and the restaurant was the cherry on top. Sandflies lol
- Caitlyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rosendahl (8/5): Very good -
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - April was amazing throughout the stay aswell as suiting our booking needs ❤️ It would of been nice to have some washing up detergent and more toilet paper in the room.
- Altia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hill (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Perfect for our road trip up north
- Breitenstein (8/5): Nice place to stay - The unit was nice, but the pool was empty so no swimming was dissapointing plus bar was closed due to private function, but you could have had a section open to guests, seeing as bar was closed and pool was empty maybe a discounted rate should have been offerd Vent in toilet was was a bit fluffy, more coffee maybe and milk, even a few bottle,s of curtesy water could have been good for the price, maybe even munchies and alcohol in fridge would have been good, if used could have been charged to room
- Jermanus (7/5): Good - The staff were friendly, and the location was amazing. The boat ramp is easily accessible. The pool was unfortunately cloudy and unsuitable at the time of our stay.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
