- Penny (10/5): Great stay - Lovely original cottage close to centre - very comfortable
- stacy (8/5): -
- Liz (9/5): Lovely cottage in convenient location. - Great location, just round the corner from the main part of Burra. Well furnished cottage with lots of character. Lovely garden which I wished we had more time to enjoy. The welcome basket of goodies was very much appreciated.
- Ross (9/5): Remarkable cottage in a quiet street. - The historical and beautifully decorated cottage. The garden setting was delightful. The location was perfect for accessing the town centre.
- sue (7/5): -
- Shivaun (10/5): Everything was so comfortable and convenient. We couldn’t have chosen better. Thank you - Great house great location. Loved the garden We could not find fault with anything
- Bradley (9/5): - Location, history, garden
- joanne (10/5): - Stunning little cottage, wish we could have stayed longer! Would recommend a stay for a few nights. Thank you😀 Nothing to add
- Jose (10/5): Hidden gem. - Even though we only stayed for one night, this is a beautiful hidden gem, the cottage is very well decorated with all sorts of antiques and old artifacts, the beds are big and comfortable. The kitchen is simply gorgeous. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The whole property is decorated in a way that it instantly takes you back to the mining days of the town.
The host even provided a comfortable foldable bed for us with clean linen and bedding. I definitely recommend checking out this property when visiting the region. Honestly, we liked everything.
- Sarah (10/5): - Great little cottage in a perfect location. We loved our stay. ❤️
- Donna (10/5): - The garden was the favourite spot. The back little paved area such a cute little weekend. The back street access no privacy.
- denise (8/5): - We have been there before its a lovely place to stay
- Maureen (9/5): Excellent cottage. Great location. - Fridge was leaking. We did not alter any settings.
- Julia (9/5): A fabulous family getaway. - Location.
Comfort. Lots of heating options.
Pet friendly. Fully fenced- lovely yard.
My son loved all the ‘old fashioned’ trinkets. Nothing really. But a very minor suggestion may be to possibly have another mat immediately inside the front door (or something similar) to put wet/muddy shoes as I was wary of walking straight in the front door onto carpet. (And I didn’t want to leave them outside.)
- Kym (10/5): A pretty and historical little cottage laden with many items of yesteryear. Such charm and warmth. - The location was good. Close to township amenities and quiet. Also, had the car in the driveway behind the gates. The entire yard was enclosed so doggos could not get out. Poop bags, pooper scooper etc provided. Pet bowls also, although we had our own.
Instructions via email were very clear as to what to do upon entry and exit and how to leave the property. Help was available and questions were answered promptly.
So much historical character in and around the cottage. The cottage was very cozy and unique. We would not hesitate to book here again. Just lovely. Thank you to the owners for all your support and letting us experience your lovely B&B. Leaving was the hardest. Did not feel long enough.
- David (8/5): Very pleasant stay, would recommend. - Location is perfect. Loved the quiet comfort and the pretty garden. And thanks for the good coffee. No hand towel in the bathroom, and a mirror in the main bedroom would have been handy, otherwise very well appointed.

- Karen (10/5): Warm and welcoming with everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. - The location was perfect for us. A short stroll to market square and the information centre. Beautiful garden, lots of interesting antiques inside the cottage, nice hot showers, streaming services like Netflix and comfortable furniture throughout. A great base to explore all the historical sites in and around Burra and the area was quiet. I would recommend Coppermine Cottage to those who appreciate history and comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! No negatives.

- Jennifer (9/5): Great location for exploring on foot and eating out - A cosy cottage with all you need to be comfortable. Thank you Trish and Kev for your clear communication, the welcome basket of goodies, and for turning the heating on for our arrival. The air fresheners were too much for my sensitivities.
- James (9/5): - Very cosy and comfortable. Walking distance to most shops and pubs. Trish was very accommodating.

- Jayne (8/5): Historic Cottage in Great Location - Lovely historic property in the centre of town. Easy walk to most tourist attractions and eateries.
- Jacquelyn (9/5): SA rural stay - Yard area was amazing and a little green paradise in a drought ridden area. The home was extremely comfortable. It’s not a don’t like but the home was quite chilly even though the days weren’t overly cool. Would be great in the heat of summer.

- Richard (8/5): Lovely historic cottage with period decor. - Good location. Lovely historic cottage with period decor.
- Trena (8/5): Very good - Lovely garden, pet friendly, comfortable bed, well equipped, good location, clean, welcome pack, Netflix. Nothing
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Good location nice rooms and everything worked. Nothing specific but a sixty dollar cleaning charge for one night seemed excessive.
- Kelsey (8/5): A great place to stay, but we wouldn’t recommend to families with small children. - The property was lovely, clean and comfortable and the location to the township was great. We particularly enjoyed the outside area. It wasn’t child-friendly. There were too many precious or valuable items that my toddler wanted to explore, which meant that we spent time stressing about him being able to break something. We would have thought that a home rented out to families would be more child friendly.
- Rebekha (10/5): Perfect stay, steeped in charm and history. - Quaint old cottage in an excellent spot to explore the town. Everything was lovely
- Melissa (10/5): Would stay here again, instructions for check in very clear, easy walk to shops, lovely garden and pets allowed. - Very clean and lots of interesting antiques. The garden was lovely and we were very grateful to be able to have our pupper with us. Nothing,
- Denys (8/5): Conveniently located, delightful historical cottage - Friendly attitude to pets.
Pleasant quite environment. Lack of fan or AC in second bedroom.
- Glenn (10/5): Exceptional -

- Louise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Lovely old stone cottage, very well maintained, lovely garden and also sheltered place to relax - No cereals provided Can’t think of anything we didn’t like
- Phillip (10/5): Fantastic property, lovely garden, just a very short walk to town centre. - Furnishings, decorations and equipment just great. Garden just lovely - great to sit outside. Great location close to town centre. Nothing really.
- Tracy (9/5): We would gladly rebook the Copper Mine Cottage if we were ever in Burra in the future. - The Copper Mine Cottage is located in a perfect location; quiet yet still within walking distance of the main market square and all facilities.
The cottage garden was in full bloom and complimented the era of the cottage.
The interior of the cottage was welcoming with everything that we needed. For me personally, I would have liked an underlay of some sort over the mattress (memory foam maybe) as I did find the innerspring mattress a little hard. Please don't take this as a criticism as I am aware that it is very hard to please everyone all of the time!
- Kathryn (7/5): Good -
