A swim hat was required to use the pool - but then they allowed people to spit in the pool - so we were unable to use it. I think they need a sign saying no spitting, and then they can enforce it. Plus the Jacuzzi was broken - but the gym was nice!

Rene (8/5): Top ausgestattet in zentraler Lage - Zentrale Lage, tolles europäisches und lokales Frühstücken im 50 Stock. Personal außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Fenster dichten nicht ab und es ist entweder laut von der Straße oder von oben durch die Klimaanlage. Aber: Das Hotel war sehr bemüht und hat mich in die oberen Stockwerke verlegt und mir ein Upgrade gegeben.

Vittorio (7/5): Topolino topoletto zumpampà - La camera è molto bella aveva una bellissima affacciata. Anche la colazione ottima. La posizione è comodissima, si arriverà ai punti migliori a piedi. Nessuno parla inglese, è stato quasi impossibile comunicare con tutto lo staff. Quando siamo arrivati, non c’era nessuno ad accoglierci in albergo ed è stato complicato capire che la reception si trova un altro piano. Ascensori super lenti, a volte è caduto dovrei aspettare anche 5 o 10 minuti. Servizio lavanderia molto caro, spropositato direi.
OLEG (1/5): Не рекомендую - Месторасположение хорошее, удобно добраться до разных интересных локаций. Уборка по выбору персонала. Могут убрать, а могут и нет. Берут депозит за все, причем выше нормы.

Josephine (9/5): Was a short but comfortable stay, would def stay here again. - The location of the property was great, walking distance to main shopping street and some attractions. As we were still not totally familiar with the Chinese apps, we found the staff particularly helpful. Concierge manager, Curry, helped us with bookings and even followed up on WeChat if we needed help throughout the day. The lighting in the room could have been brighter.

James (10/5): Modern hotel in the heart of ChongQing - Beautiful hotel with the lobby above the 50th floor. Great location (walkable distance to a lot of attractions - by walkable I mean within a 30 minute walk). Excellent buffet breakfast. Nothing! Hotel was great!

Bonnie (10/5): Another Wonderful Stay at The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square - This was my second stay at The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square, and I’m so glad I decided to return. Although our visit was very short (we arrived at 2:00 a.m. and checked out at 7:00 a.m.), the experience was wonderful. One of our rooms was upgraded to a suite upon arrival, which was a lovely surprise. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the breakfast offered a nice variety of options along with a stunning view. I don’t think I’ll ever stay anywhere else when visiting Chongqing, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the city. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
Rebecca (8/5): Good location. - Location and the view. As part of the Marriot Bonvoy 5 star hotel, you’d expect the staff to speak a bit of English. Checking in and checking out took long due to lack of English spoken which led to miscommunication and misunderstanding.

Nikolaos (10/5): - It was my first time travelling to Chongqing, and I do not speak any Chinese. The property exceeded my expectations... From spotless rooms, to amazing breakfast and a very convenient location at a walking distance from the city center. Staff try their best to communicate, even though some of them do not speak very good English. Overall, it was the best choice I could do for my stay in Chongqing. At the end of my stay, I left some stuff that I received as gifts from the conference that I attended. They sent me an e-mail if I needed them shipped to my home country. Excelent stay, Thank you for everything!

YS (1/5): - I would like to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at The Westin. Prior to arrival, I had requested for connecting rooms located near the lift lobby. While I understand that such requests are subject to availability, I was informed at check-in that my request had not been captured at all. Instead of being accommodated with connecting rooms — or at the very least rooms on the same floor — we were placed on separate floors. And rather than being near the lift as requested, I was assigned a room right at the corner, which felt like the exact opposite of what I had asked for. Additionally, the front desk kindly offered to send a bottle of wine and fruits to our rooms as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, this also never materialised, further adding to the disappointment. While I appreciate the courtesy of your staff, the lapses in both communication and follow-through left me with an experience that fell far short of the standards I have come to expect from The Westin brand. I trust this feedback will be taken constructively to prevent such oversights for future guests.

Linda (9/5): Superb - Spacious room. Good breakfast. Room temperature is set 22C/23C during summer, cant go lower than this. I was sweating after took shower and couldnt sleep. Engineer came to check, but he said its normal. Then, they offer me to move to a different room. Temperature is still 22C, but at least i dont sweat.

Daniel (10/5): Overall, still an awesome stay - Birthday cake was arranged knowing my wife birthday is just in the next few days. The room decoration bring extra special feel! The only thing I could comment is that the room lighting is a little dim, some traveler may love it but i think it work better if it able to adjust the brightness to fit everyone preference.

Blue (10/5): Excellence stay because of exceptional staff - The staff definitely made the experience exceptional. The facility has amazing views. The rooms are spacious, beds are super comfortable. And the location is prime. Phyllis Gong, guest service manager, was genuinely friendly, resourceful and helpful. Everyone from front office manager to all the staff made the experience one to remember. Referred my friends and colleagues, definitely visit Chongqing and Westin again. Location is pretty prime. Near shopping district and financial district but not directly on the path. Lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. The views are exceptional. The facility has many hidden gems. Thanks for the amazing experience.
Fong (8/5): Very good - Great location. Wonderful rooms which were luxuriously large, clean and comfy. Staff were competent, and supported by very capable management, from arranging rooms for our group of 4 friends, to extending late checkout (when it became available). Jack Zhou went above and beyond by helping us out of a predicament we found ourselves in at the last minute - he was tactful, resourceful, and knowledgeable. Thanks and kudos to the Westin team! Will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Chongqing!
