• Lee L (9/5): Refreshing stay - Nana is a fantastic host. She tried hard to make guest felt welcome by providing relevant information. Although, I haven’t used the kitchen but the laundromat was welcome to do laundry for travellers that packed light. It is like located in a safe snd quiet neighbourhood. It is in a residential location but cost little to catch a Grab to JB Sentral.

• Moira (10/5): Great place in Jahur Bahru - Nana's hospitality is genuine and sincere. Lovely lady. The accommodation itself was excellent. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lots of thought has obviously gone into making the guests stay perfect. Even down to a recommended walk. Loved the breakfast in the morning delivered to the door. I had the use of a kitchen downstairs and a washing machine which I was very grateful for. Outside clothes line soon had everything dry. Found a brilliant Indian restaurant a 15 minute walk away, Ashoka curry house, highly recommended.
• dermorneay (10/5): Beautiful stay & a wonderful host - This homestay was absolutely amazing! Nana, the host, is the sweetest person ever and truly the best host I’ve had since I started travelling. She is such a warm and welcoming host. Her homestay is beautiful and very cosy, with everything I needed; it was perfect for me. Nana’s communication was excellent, and she gave me loads of great recommendations for things to do in the area. I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing about my stay. The only thing I would say is that I wish Nana had more homestays in other locations because I would love to stay at them too haha. I can’t wait to visit JB again because this will definitely be my number one choice of place to stay. Everything was perfect

• Hunter (10/5): - Nana is an excellent host and provided fantastic service. she communicates well, makes you a personalized breakfast, and is very helpful with whatever you might need the accommodation is well equipped and comfortable the location is a outside of the main areas but it's only a short ride away. the ceiling is low but is clearly marked in the photos.

• SHANWEILIN (10/5): - 非常感谢娜娜姐的热情招待，房间很温馨很干净。房主的手艺非常棒，早餐很好吃。非常热情用心。提醒一下后续预定的朋友吧，避免和你们期望的不一样而不开心，房子位置是在居民区，去吃饭（附近有一家马来餐厅可以步行六分钟走过去）购物需要打车。旁边不远有一个穆斯林教堂，对于睡眠质量要求高的朋友来讲他们早上五点到六点之间的祷告会很影响睡眠（喇叭声非常近），房间在阁楼，身高高于170cm的人需要小心屋顶。除去上面所说的那些以外没有人优缺点，房主人特别好特别温柔和用心，非常值得预定

• Catalin Eugen (10/5): - Tiny and peaceful, far away from the noise of the town, but close to the center, easy reacheable by Grab, Sweet Loft Homestay is like the room of the childhood, small but lovely. Nana gave us a warm welcome and gratulate us with a wonderful breakfast next morning! Everything was nice!

• DI (10/5): 满意 - 很好很喜欢！本来只定了一晚，办好入住就直接又加了一天，早饭很丰盛，屋子很干净，一个人住超舒服 因为是阁楼所以不太适合高个子的人，然后楼梯比较陡比较窄，有行李箱的话会有点艰难
• GoH (9/5): 整体来说还是不错的 - -很特別又温馨的一間民宿 -屋主也很親切 -停车方便 -早餐不错吃 -冷气下方有一堆灰尘（我拿湿纸巾处理掉了😂） -楼梯间有点窄（东西太多的话可能就不是很方便） -房间的空气流通不是很理想（可能是闷着一整个下午的关系吧，冷气开了几个小时还是感觉有点热） -洗脸盆的水龙头会跑位 -因为附近有回教堂的关系，早上5，6点左右可能会影响睡眠一阵子

I have recommended this place with my friends who are frequent travelers to JB. Good job! Staircase is slightly steep.

• Joanna (10/5): Sweet Loft Homestay is highly-recommended! - Place is squeaky clean, specially the toilet. The bed sheets and pillows are fresh, and has fan and AC to cool the room. It also has it's own entrance so you don't need to worry about privacy. Nana also prepares delicious breakfast. And you have access to the kitchen plus waching machine if you want to do your laundry (which we did). It's also near the old street where they sell good banana cake. I think we only paid Grab 7RM to get to this old street. Nothing. We like everything about this hostel. We will def come back.

• Brendan (9/5): Nice affordable stay. - Compact room up tight stairs. Excellent communication with the lovely and helpful host. Shower temperature and water was great. Bed was cozy and comfortable. I didn't eat the full breakfast but had a very nice orange juice and crunchy apple. My bag was heavy, so the stairs were a challenge for my room.

• Janet (10/5): Perfect homestay and lovely host - The homestay room had everything one needed, with a lot of extra thought by owner Nana. Nana was always available for anything one wanted to ask her, and always very friendly and considerate.

• Aigoo (6/5): 15-20mins prayer broadcast around 4am from 2 places nearby was a shock - Great communication from the owner on what will be provided for breakfast, when she will be around and not, and what to do for check in and checkout. Explanation of the amenities during check in was informative and the loft was as expectedly low for headspace. Breakfast was heartening and arrived promptly at the requested time. 15-20mins prayer broadcast around 4am from 2 places nearby was a shock, soundproofing of the loft left a lot to be desired. Not recommended to arrive after dark as the area is quite off and eerie, nothing much in the area at all, our Grab driver was also worried for us and stayed on to make sure we entered the right property before leaving.
• Evangeline (10/5): Wonderful stay. - The place is comfortable and clean, plus has other amenities to use like fridge and washing machine. Great location too since it’s nearby city centre however there are 2 mosques that you will hear prayers towards end of the day. But overall, everything is good! Nana is a wonderful host, she’s hands-on with taking care of the guests. Nothing.
• Øivind (10/5): Exceptional - I am a writer and filmmaker, and this place was everything I needed: serene vibes, true tranquility, lightning-fast internet, exceptional gourmet breakfasts, and, above all, the most accommodating and thoughtful host one could imagine.
• Companion (9/5): Wonderful Convenient Stay - The host was really wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yummy and she makes sure you get it at a time that suits you. It's really breakfast in bed. She was very helpful to us when we encountered some problems. The room was everything exactly as stated. It was very clean and comfortable. It has toiletries. hair dryer and drink-making facilities like a hotel. We can even use the kitchen downstairs and do washing but we did not need to. It was quiet and there is privacy. The stairway is steep and part of the room is really low but we have been warned and we found it did not bother us so much. Therefore there's no bed so the mattress is low and is a bit difficult for me with knee and stiff joint problem.

Toilet so clean, bed also make me feel like at home. steep stairs and not suitable for elderly. and those who carry luggage not encouraged, but Nana (owner) always there to help you.

• Wen (10/5): Best host in the world! - First day, NANA share the information about traveling in JB and Singapore also. The most impressive thing is telling me that taking train from JB Central to Woodlands CIQ, which is quite easy to reach, in a low cost, much more comfortable than bus, taking only 5mins to arrive at Singapore, and the most important of which is not so crowded at all. Besides, when it comes to stay experience, NANA prepare the breakfast by herself and check when to put in front of the door every day. Also, because the weather in Malaysia is hot, I ask for more bottles of water several times, NANA gave it right after she read the message. Appreciate!! NONE

• Jake (8/5): Awesome spot for a solo traveller. - Host is exceptional, laundry facilities are awesome. Room is great shower, AC, everything is awesome. So many extra little things like nice shampoo, water and snacks. The roof pitch is steep but it wasn't unmanageable. About 1.8m at the head of the bed and 600mm at the foot of the bed. The masjid is up the street. If you set the aircon to 3 fan, pitched to the roof and set it to your desired temp you won't wake up. 2 out of the 3 nights I slept through Fajr without a wake up with this method.

Staff were super friendly and detailed in their check in and check out information, my friend and I loved that the place is kept clean and tidy. I like the simplicity of the space. Nil.

• Calypsinchen (9/5): Superb - Very clean room with good AC, delicious breakfast, nice toiletries and comfy bed. Near to JB Sentral. Nana is very helpful, quick in response and doing everything for a feeling like home. Highly recommended. We knew before arrival that hight of the room is not as usual. That made the room really very small, as 1/3 of the room is too low to walk on your knees. For 2 nights absolute okay, but if you stay longer you should have a very healthy back.
• Tan (9/5): Good stay - Located in the attic of a home, generally was comfortable with really fast wifi. Rooms were cleaned and the owner of the home was really nice. There was even breakfast provided and delivered to the room. Parking is provided at the place as I was able to get my motorcycle parked in the landed house. Would recommend if you have your own transport. If you do not have your own transport, it would be a good choice if you are only there to sleep and shower. Not so assesible via public transport or walk.

• Wernnie (9/5): Warm room for a night stay before entering SGP - The owner Nana was very welcoming. It's a loft room but very warm design, with clean environment. Our stay includes a simple breakfast which is worth the price! Nana will let you choose the beverage for the breakfast 😍 Nothing much to mention but just to let others know the stairs to the loft room was quite narrow. If you are handling a L/XL size luggage might be hard for you to carry up.
• Paul (10/5): An absolute gem! - Everything about this homestay was perfect. The host was welcoming, gave loads of help and information and the room was spotless, cozy and extremely well equipped. Breakfast was huge and imaginative. We would rate it 11 out of 10 if possible!

• Oon (10/5): Enjoyable stay - Very affordable cost for the location and facilities that was offered. Breakfast is delicious with very friendly staff who offers help to bring luggage to the room. Clean room with amenities provided and parking provided within homestay compound for security. Adequate power sockets with extension plugs provided. Fast wifi. Totally exceeded my expectation for the stay and would highly recommend to others. Stairs to the room is a bit steep. As the room is located in the attic, the room is smaller on one side and may knock your head on the ceiling if not careful. Other than that this is an extremely good offering.
• Chris (10/5): ☺️☺️ - Perfect little cosy place to stay. Quiet location away from the noise of the main city, but still fairly convenient with a good view of the skyline. Had everything you need, good water system, laundry, kitchen facilities and a VERY effective aircon. Complementary breakfast is very good and made with lots of care. Possibly one of the cleanest accommodations I’ve stayed at anywhere in Malaysia. Not close to any public transport, but you can easily get a Grab or Taxi to the location easily enough.
• Otilia (9/5): Little gem - Nana is a very kind, flexible and responsive host. The loft is a little gem, fits comfortably 2 people, has a separate entrance and you can park your car inside the gated yard. Even toiletries are included in the price, as well as breakfast. The house is set in a quiet housing neighbourhood, but a few min drive to downtown.
• Lily (10/5): Very nice and helpful host, very clean and comftorable and yummy resturant nearby. - I loved how helpful our host was, she gave us all the information about the busses and places to eat and things to do in town and she brought us towels and breakfast. Overall a perfect experience!! It was a little out of town so it was harder to walk but the location was still pretty perfect with a good restaurant very close and like 5 min drive from town

The room was super cozy, with a private bathroom. Very clean place, with a great host! Just to note that the stairs are a bit steep for anyone who has weak knees.
