• katrien (9/5): Voldeed aan de verwachtingen en meer. - Alhoewel het een modern huis betrof, voelde het heel warm aan omwille van de houten bekledingspanelen. Ook aan geluidsisolatie was gedacht, door de dikke deuren had je weinig last van gezinsleden die nog op waren. Ook de infraroodcabine konden we appreciëren. Het was vriesweer buiten dus na lange wandelingen een welkom tussendoortje. Ik kan niets verzinnen dat tegenviel. Er was wel telkens wat tijd nodig om de juiste lichtknop te vinden, wat voor enige hilariteit zorgde bij de rest van het gezin. De hoge waarborg was misschien wel een struikelpuntje. Ik begrijp dat je een zekere doelgroep selecteert op deze manier, maar 1500 lijkt me wel een groot bedrag om dit een hele week ergens te parkeren als borg.
• Stefanie (9/5): Perfect getaway - Well decorated cozy home. Well equipped kitchen, great beds and good views around. We really loved our stay, forest walks is a small drive away.
• David (10/5): Excellent house with great amenities! - I was here for a retreat for a week, just me and my flutes to play music and to relax and unwind. The kitchen is the most complete one I have seen in years, with everything you could possibly need. All facilities like washing machine and dryer are high quality. Parking was a breeze. The lighting and ambience are terrific! The view is outstanding, with lots of nature around. The nearby town of La Roche offers multiple possibilities to do shopping and many restaurants. This is a place that you would need a car, possibly an E-Bike, because it is quite hilly, but no cycle-paths. For musicians: the acoustics are great! Ok, so the steps to the second floor, which was well equipped for children with toys and the like, is outright dangerous. Carrying a child upstairs will be nearly impossible, or if you are older with strength or balance issues I also foresee difficulties. Please keep this in mind. Some sort of protective barrier will be needed, and I think it would be quite possible. The blinds are another issue, these are quite fragile, and it was not possible to access the terrace through the sliding doors. Leaving windows open in summer will invite a lot of insects. I see no need to take points off my valuation because of these issues, but maybe the owners could do something about the stairs.
