• Cesar (3/5): - About 25 minutes walking to the city center. According to the information, I thought we were going to be 4 people, but when I was there there were 4 bunks, which means, we were 8 people. I think it was intentionally confusing. Just marketing to get you. How sad. No security, the doors are always open, anyone could come inside. There is a sign of the accommodation, saying they are not responsible for any lost. Someone was cleaning the room by 11.30 pm!!!!!! People will smoke outside, but all the smell will go directly into the room. There was not toilet paper in the bathroom. You are allowed to use the kitchen till midnight, the room is next to the kitchen, so no chance to sleep. If you use the kitchen after midnight you must pay a fine of 50 US-Dollar.. Lol.. Lol.. As there are some Muslims guests, after they use the toilet, they leave the floor completely wet, it should be a bit of consideration not other people.

• Julian Manuel (8/5): Good budget accommodation - Comfy beds, good size and good bathroom. The stuff speaks good English The room didn't have a window so there's no sunlight. There's a fan running the whole time as the window situation, so it can be annoying while sleeping as it is a bit noisy. Location isn't great, there's nothing around.
• Ragu (9/5): Great Stay in Yerevan - The hostel room and kitchen are spacious and always clean. Staff at the property were very friendly. Mohammed was kind and always helpful. The young lady, I believe the owner of the hostel was courteous and hospitable. I had a great stay at the hostel. The hostel is lacking bathrooms/toilets; however, this did not impact my stay there negatively. The location of the hostel is a little away from the city center, took about 25-30 minutes to walk. However, this did put me off as I enjoyed my daily walks to the Republic Square at the city center.

• Ani (9/5): Hostel vibe with private rooms & outdoor seating area - I can recommend this place and I'd like to be back here in warm season to enjoy the garden. Clean, fresh, neat. No loud noises. It's in the center, 30 min walk from the Republic Square but in a green, quiet & safe neighborhood. I enjoyed apricot blossom all around. My room didn't have windows.. and very loud in-built air ventilation but I booked late at night at a very short notice so no time to double check.

• abdul (10/5): Sparkling clean and value for money! - Sparkling clean I knew it was a 20 minute walk to the heart of the city center, I wanted to get some exercise, so for me it was not a negative but for some it might be a consideration.

• Shahin (9/5): A short good stay at this hostel - I like that they provided a tea with some biscuits. The bed was quite nice, and they gave me a towel. The price was decent. The other hostel members were quiet, and fortunately, no one snoored at night. The water was cold for a shower. The location is a little far from the centre and on a steep hill, and there are too many stairs. I had a large suitcase, and carrying it was a hassle.

• Lana (10/5): - This was one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent. Everything was very, very clean, which is extremely important to me. The atmosphere was great, the kitchen was spotless, the household appliances were new, and the bed linens were fresh and clean. I truly recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. If I come back to Armenia, to Yerevan, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for the coffee and the delicious treat 🤍

From the moment I arrived, everything felt very, very well cared for — immaculately clean, thoughtfully arranged, and genuinely welcoming. The location is fantastic: it’s a pleasant 15‑minute walk to the Cascade and just 15 minutes on foot to the Opera House, which makes it an ideal base for sightseeing and enjoying the heart of the city. The courtyard is a real highlight. There are several comfortable spots to sit and relax in the evenings — perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, enjoying a quiet cup of tea, or chatting with other guests. The outdoor space creates a peaceful, friendly atmosphere that makes the whole place feel like a little home away from home. My room was exceptionally cozy and spotless. Everything was clean and fresh, with comfortable bedding and tasteful touches that made the space warm and inviting. It felt private and calm, so I slept very well. The attention to cleanliness and small comforts really stood out — the room felt cared for down to the smallest detail. The kitchen is extremely large and kept in pristine condition. It’s fully equipped with everything you could need for preparing meals — plenty of cookware, utensils, plates, and appliances — and the layout makes it effortless to cook and eat. The kitchen area was always kept tidy, which made meal times pleasant and hassle-free. Communal areas are welcoming and well maintained, encouraging a relaxed, social vibe without ever feeling noisy. Everything is organised so guests can enjoy both privacy and friendly communal time. The overall atmosphere is calm, safe, and very comfortable. All in all, this hostel offers outstanding value — a spotless, cozy room, a very well‑equipped kitchen, a lovely courtyard for evening relaxation, and an unbeatable location within walking distance of major sights.

El dormitorio de mujeres es en el subsuelo, así que no tiene ventana, pero si solo vas a dormir es genial porque es súper tranquilo y está bien ventilado por lo que no te enteras que no hay ventanas. Si vas a estar más tiempo puedes sentirte encerrado.

• Sahbi (10/5): - I had a great stay at this hostel. Everything was extremely clean and well looked after. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the place feels very well organized. The rooms and common areas are tidy, and you can immediately see that cleanliness is a priority here. It’s also a peaceful place, perfect for resting after a long day. Overall, it’s a very pleasant and well-maintained hostel, and I would gladly stay here again.

• Steph (8/5): Great hostel! - The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The beds are comfy and the shower is great. There is a well-stocked kitchen and a washing machine for use. It’s a 15-20 min walk to the centre, but this means it’s in a quiet area. In the girls dorm, there is a fan next to the bathroom which has to stay on to prevent a drain smell and it’s pretty noisy at night (earplugs required if you’re a light sleeper).
• Katherine (2/5): No water and stray cat in bed at 4 am - The beds were comfortable and the room was big. The general cleanliness (ignoring how disgusting the bathroom (and guests) got after having no water for 24 hours) was good. The worst: For 24 hours there was no hot water at all, with no warning or explanation. The day after, there was no water whatsoever for 24 hours, again with no warning or explanation. You can imagine how disgusting the toilet got, and it was very uncomfortable not being able to wash your hands, shower, or drink any water unless you walked 15 minutes to the nearest fountain to fill a water bottle. It was on this night that I woke up, parched and already feeling gross, with a stray cat on my pillow at 4 am. (!!!) I am very experienced with staying in hostels, and with that am quite lenient regarding standards for comfort and hygiene in hostels, but this was just unacceptable. I very rarely write reviews for anywhere I stay, but this has got to be the worst place I've ever stayed. To the owner - I'm not sure if the water outages were known to you in advance or not, but if they were, you really should at least give a heads up to your guests so they can plan around the outage. The bad: The atmosphere is uncomfortable, it is mainly older men living in the hostel and they are always around in the common areas. Fair enough, but not so comfortable for a young, solo female traveller. Luckily I was in the female dorm, but there were still some long term guests there who took up a lot of space and weren't friendly. The owner was rude, demanding, and difficult to get a hold of. The security is very poor, all the doors from the street to the room were often left fully open, which is how the stray cat got in. Aside from that, anyone could walk off the street and come into the room (where there are no lockers), and do whatever they like. I know levels of security in this region are much more relaxed than most places, but even keeping that in mind, this was especially bad security.
• Abduselam (10/5): Highly recommendable ! - I have been to over 100 hostels in all my travels, and this is truly one of the best. I was greeted with a cup of tea when I arrived, and I paid on my last night—a sign of the high hospitality and trust they offer. The hostel is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and it has a great location. The owners, Hanny and Karin, are truly exceptional and kind. They give all their clients a family vibe! Room light is highly illuminating , needs some lower illuminating lights!

Owners were very nice and when there was a problem with the bed I booked they were happy to go above and beyond and fix it. A little bit out of the way from the touristy centre but still lots of restaurants and grocery stores around. It's an easy walk to get to the centre.

Все пространство — от общих зон до номеров — ухожено и всегда поддерживается в идеальном состоянии. Чувствуется забота. В ванной комнате всегда была горячая вода, а кухню можно использовать для готовки — всё необходимое есть. Расположение тоже отличное — недалеко от центра, так что легко можно добраться до всех основных достопримечательностей. Если вы ищете место для комфортного и недорогого проживания в Ереване с замечательной атмосферой, этот хостел — идеальный выбор!
• Baron (8/5): - Great place run by a mother-daughter team. Mum, in particular, was amazing. Every time I got up (once very late after a night on the town), she has coffee and a biscuit waiting! Also laid on on other treats, such as almonds and snacks. Does washing, including hanging out to dry for just 1000 dram (US$2.6). Large facility with spacious kitchen/common area and nice little garden and balcony/patio overlooking it. Water was off for a few hours one day and electricity for a short period on another. A bit out of the way (fine for me, as I like to walk/explore and don't care about being further afield) and not always easy for cabs to find -- couldn't get the exact address in Yandex. Minor complaints given the incredibly low price and kindness of host. x

• KATSIARYNA (1/5): - Специально 2 раза предварительно набирала хотселу, чтобы удостовериться, что бронь видели и номер будет. По факту приехали и девушка сказала, что в нашем номере был "инцидент", другого у них нет. Ни разу не извинилась, реагировала так, будто отсутствие жилья - только наша проблема, ей без разницы. Сказала пойти спросить номер в соседнем хостеле, нам самим, сама просто ушла.
