Guest Reviews
- Sergey (10/5): - An apartment was very clean and nice. The location is great, close to bus station and metro. The owner is very helpful. Thank you for your hospitality!
- Lee (10/5): - On the heart of Sisli area, close to all amenities and local hot-spot. The owner lives in the same building so great attention available if anything is needed. Very friendly host and area. Super clean and comfortable. I'll be returning many times. Nothing.
- Lawries (10/5): It was a very comfortable and happy stay. This property is very successful. - The location is excellent, the apartment is wonderful and close to everything, and the owner of the apartment is very respectful and cooperative, offering to help with love all the time. When we entered the apartment, we found that he had put everything we might need, from kitchen tools to appliances to some things for personal use. I highly recommend it, especially since it is very suitable for families. Many thanks to the owner of the apartment for everything. Nothing
- Taif (10/5): An excellent choice for a family to stay in Istanbul - The location is excellent - close to the main road, multiple markets, restaurants, coffee shops and exchange offices within walking distance, and a lively but quiet and safe neighborhood. The apartment is lovely, spacious, very clean and well-equipped with everything you might need during your stay.
The host, Mr. Erdem, is very friendly, respectful and welcoming. He regularly checked to make sure we didn't have any issues or needed anything. He speaks English fluently, and felt like a friend in the city that we could depend on.
Absolutely wonderful experience, very glad we chose this place. Happy Family Duplex would be our first choice the next time we visit Istanbul, and we would be delighted to meet Mr. Erdem again. Sometimes, leaving the bathroom's exhaust fan on for a longer time than necessary may lead to a slightly bad odor seeping in, likely from it being in the basement. However, this is easily managed if you use the exhaust fan sparingly. This is not a negative point and can be avoided if you follow Mr. Erdem's instructions.
- Jbri (2/5): Very poor - Warning!! The landlord, two days before we moved in, when we no longer had the right to cancel, said that we had to pay 115 euros in cash upon arrival because the booking site did not include the cleaning fee, so you had to pay it separately. This is a complete scam. He asked us to cancel the house, and according to the booking site, we did not have the right to cancel, and if we had canceled, we would have been fined. We were not satisfied at all. The landlord said that the house was on the ground floor, but only the kitchen and living room were on the ground floor. The rooms, toilet, and bathroom were in the basement with many stairs. The kitchen utensils were dirty, the air fryer was full of oil, and the toilet and bathroom were not clean. There were false eyelashes and hair from previous guests on the pillowcase. The house smelled of the toilet cesspool all the time, and I had to vacuum the house every day because it was full of ants and insects. We handed over the house clean on the last day, but because we did not pay the money that he illegally demanded from us in cash, he falsely complained to the booking site that we had left the house dirty. We did and he asked for the same hundred euros. The house is on a steep, uphill street.
