The menu was quite varied, not expensive and quite - Not too far from airport, delightful views over a large acreage of flowers cultivated for export. The senora was an angel and was effectively in charge of everything. She is a superb cook and managed to serve me a meal in total darkness, when the surge of rain knocked out the power supply in the neighbourhood for over 8 hours. Very helpful staff, even though their english was not the best , but my spanish is woeful! The rain was quite intense! So the electricity was out for some time. This hotel is a bit far away from the larger shops in Tababela.

El servicio -extra- de lavandería tiene un precio justo y es muy bueno. Quizá lo único que podría restarle un poquito es que la habitación es un poco pequeña y falta ventilación. Pero no es nada grave. De todas formas es un espacio muy limpio que no guarda olor a humedad.

A small selection of restaurants in the area, but decent food options right at the hotel. I could see Cotopaxi from the rooftop! It was a little pricey for Ecuador, but the convenience and services make it a decent value. My wife and I actually stayed here for five nights, due to a National strike, so it was expensive over 5 days. However, it was a very relaxing neighborhood.

- Grzegorz (8/5): - The hotel is 8 minute drive by taxi from the airport. They offer free transport shuttle from the airport to the hotel and were on time. Staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast was good and included scrambled eggs, granola with yogurt, fresh fruits, ham and cheese tost, and coffee. Unfortunately, the staff doesn’t speak English and sometimes we had problems with communication, but finally we understood each other.

The property is very clean and comfortable and the service and value are exceptional. We were in an accident and she was an exceptional help for us. I cannot thank her enough. I have no bad comments.

Was told that we could only have the VAT charge removed as non-Ecuadorian residents if we paid cash. We hadn’t been told that all week at other locations. The free airport shuttle is only one way, so we had to pay the hotel for the second taxi & think it was a little overpriced compared to our taxi earlier in the week. The Wi-Fi code in the room was incorrect and required three trips downstairs to the desk to get service. I asked for coffee to be ready in the morning before our taxi ride since we were leaving before breakfast and was told that wouldn’t be a problem… There was no coffee made available.

- Doug (9/5): A great inexpensive choice near Quito Airport with free shuttle service. - The hotel provides free taxi to/from the airport which is why I booked. The room was a bit small but perfect for one night. The bed was very comfortable with lots of storage space and everything worked well in the bathroom. The room decor was more of a 'love hotel' with bold reds but that didn't bother me. The manager was very accommodating when my flight was delayed and someone was waiting for me at the arrivals just like they promised. I made it just in time before the restaurant closed for the night. The other options elsewhere are limited.

- Milonee (8/5): Great budget, convenience day for those requiring accommodation close to airport. - Quiet, thoughtfully decorated and welcoming. Spacious rooms, comfy beds and linen, Netflix and good wifi! Also bonus of freely available filter water (rare in South America!). Food was a good portion size and adequate quality for price. Wholesome breakfast included. Hotel and staff facilitated my 1am check in and one-way taxi from airport is complementary. Overall very good value (especially with the ~60% off I got via booking.com with the late escape deal!) Dogs barking outside throughout my 2 nights stay, some police sirens and hotel is directly under a flight path so you can hear planes close overhead whenever they fly. Far from Quito (45min car). Very quiet - I did not meet even one other guest during my stay. But overall not deterring factors. Would definitely stay here again.
