The window was a little bit broken and we couldn’t shut it, so there was quite a noise as our room was facing the street. I’d suggest bigger choice for breakfast

• Gasimli (2/5): - Location was close proximity to the city center Even though we booked a standard double room, the receptionist gave us the "deluxe room" in return for 10 star rating, we thought how great before we saw the room. Human hairs everywhere - on bed sheets, pillows - lipstick marks on bed sheets, cigarette ash on nightstand and don't even want to talk about the toilet (I'm sure you can guess). It was as if room service forgot about this "deluxe room". Then we asked for another room and to no surprise that one was the same. At the end we just asked to change the sheets and clean the toilet. On top of it all, the staff didn't even apologize and asked for 10 star rating at the check out. Not recommended if you care about quality.

• Mohamed (9/5): Excellent choice - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hillmod boutique in Baku and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and always willing to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Their hospitality truly stood out. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable — definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The hotel's location is also excellent, situated near a delightful and delicious restaurant, which added great convenience to my trip. The only area that could use some improvement is the breakfast selection. While the quality was good, the variety was quite limited. Expanding the breakfast options would enhance the overall guest experience.

With regards to breakfast, since we are Asian and we are heavy eater the breakfast served wasnt enough as the choices are limited. However, the staffs assist as well with our request. Thankful to them. I like most is our room as we can rest well after a long tiring day.

• Orland (8/5): Very good - That there is a non-stop supermarket 50m away That we booked a suite and we couldn't stay, let alone sleep, in the room because of the noise from the street, the windows not soundproof at all and you could hear the wind howling through the closed window and under the door. Poor quality pillows and duvets. The ironing board didn't stand, the closet door didn't stay closed. You couldn't adjust the water in the shower (sometimes hot and sometimes cold) Poor quality morning coffee Indescribably poor breakfast.

From a smooth check-in to a hassle-free checkout, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was thoughtfully stocked with high-quality toiletries. I particularly appreciated the neatly arranged towels on the heated rack and the reliable supply of hot and cold water — these small details made a big difference to the overall comfort. The staff were exceptional — always polite, responsive, and ready to assist with any queries. Their hospitality created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety and was a lovely way to start the day, while the hotel’s dinner service was a pleasant surprise — the meals were delicious and exceeded expectations. i am attaching delicious meal pics from the hotel. Though the hotel is about 4 km from the busy city center, getting around was easy and affordable with Bolt cabs, which usually cost just 3 to 4 manat. The service quality at Hillmond Hotel was top-notch, easily matching the standards of any well-rated resort. Overall, Hillmond Hotel provided a peaceful, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing base while visiting Baku. There was nothing that i will dislike. every thing was perfect at Hillmond.

• Balaj (5/5): Dissapointing stay - The rooms were a good size, and the hotel offered a tasty breakfast, although it wasn’t a buffet. The location was quite distant from the main city, making it less convenient. The room was fine overall, but there was an odd noise that persisted, and despite complaining three times, we received no response. The noise became unbearable and gave us headaches. Additionally, the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, and the room lacked a proper mirror.

I also appreciated the little touches, like the complimentary snacks and the personalized service. What stood out most was the genuine warmth and professionalism of the staff. They were always available to assist with a smile and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit! The air-conditioner has not worked properly, and we didn’t get hot water to shower.
