• O'Hagan (9/5): Lovely home stay - The room was really nice and perfect for a good night sleep as the room was very dark. Despite being on the busy street it was very quiet at night. Great location within walkable distance to all things. Very kind host who was very attentive. Mattress was a bit hard and the bathroom was small

• Nguyen Hoang (8/5): Cheap little studio apartment in the heart of Saigon - Excellent location, right in the middle of the walking street Bui Vien but the rooms are excellently insulated! It was so quiet! If the bed were comfortable and the room was clean i could have slept really well. The room was just passable. I question the cleanliness overall and the amenities are cheap and old but i guess they where there. Everything is really old and small really but for the money i guess you could do worse

E pozione strategica per visitare la strada bui ven(discoteche e bar) Per noi non è stato un problema fare le 3 scalinate per andare in camera ma per qualcuno potrebbe essere scomodo se ha qualche difficoltà con le scale.

• Rebeca (8/5): A lovely stay with a lovely host :) - The lady who owns this home stay is very lovely. They are on top of cleaning the bathrooms and always making us feel comfortable, keeping a fresh supply of water and tissues for guests to take freely. If you have a physical disability, the stairs into the room are very steep, so it may be challenging. But other than that it’s a great value for money.

• Raquel Sofia (10/5): - La persona más amable que puedas conocer, el cuarto super limpio y cómodo. Quedamos sorprendidos con la ubicación, super central y a unos pasos de Bui Vien Street. Quizás si tienes algún problema de movilidad puede ser desafiante la subida a los cuartos, pero realmente es excelente, los baños super limpios y con buena ventilación e iluminación. Puedes sentirte muy privado pero a la vez estar en el centro de todo. Pero el 10 de 10 son los anfitriones, tienen agua para ti y te colaboran con todo. El cuarto tiene todo lo que necesitas para estar cómodo. El internet excelente.
• Florencia (9/5): Saigon buena onda!! - El gran servicio de la señora Ghia, fue encantadora y nos ayudó en todo momento. Tal vez el filtro del ruido de la calle principal y peatonal. Pero solo por un rato.

Le porte clef pour entrer dans l'auberge... C'est tellement mieux un code comme ça quand on loge a 2 et fait des tour séparer on peut entrer indépendamment l'un de l'autre...

She climbed those VERY steep stairs so effortlessly and insisted on carrying my suitcase too, I’m still impressed how easy she made it look. The room was clean and comfortable, fairly quiet considering it’s located right by the bar street.

• Vu (9/5): - Giá cả hợp lý cho 1 homestay ở khu trung tâm Q1, ngõ thông ra Bùi Viện và Phạm Ngũ Lão tiện đi lại, xung quanh có nhiều cửa hàng tiện lợi, cô chủ rất nhiệt tình, mình nhận home muộn lúc 1h sáng cô ra tận ngõ đón và xách hành lý hộ. Phòng nhỏ nhưng sạch sẽ.

• Piyush (8/5): - Great location and perfect for budget travelers. Amazing host and she is too helpful! Bathrooms are private but outside the room as they have space constraints and also stairs are too narrow. So if you can live with it book it.
• Vivek (10/5): Cozy place with a lovely host! - The sweet host takes care of all your needs. You get clean bottom, towels, and plenty of drying water. She is just the nicest host. The way to the place is a little unexpected but hey, I guess that's how it is in Vietnam. Also the stairs are a little steep so be careful.

She met us the place as it would be difficult to find on your own at first. She showed us the room and even offered to take our bags upstairs for us. 10/10 would recommend again. Cheap, perfect location.

• Filip (3/5): Poor - The owner spoke good English by Asian standards. Great location in the city centre - a short walk to everywhere.. I'm sorry, but the one I bought on the first floor was awful. Mold, smell, I had to use the bathroom on the second floor which was in better condition. = bathroom is not in the room, not part of the room, it is outside the room! I couldn't stand it in my bathroom. It wasn't well cleaned. It doesn't matter if the accommodation has 0 or 5 stars, this is not acceptable. I'm not washing in a moldy bathroom.

However, the homestay is on a back alley off a main street that is lined with clubs, so it could be a bit loud at times and the main road for very crowded. The bed wasn’t amazing and we had to climb 3 sets of steep stairs (ladders) to get to our room. Apart from that the place was great value for money, with a big room, TV and fridge. The host was fantastic - she was so sweet and helpful. Overall, would recommend!

• Maria (3/5): OK for one night - Was Ok. Be aware the room is not what you see in the picture… but that’s a classic in Vietnam. Location was in city center, however in a very narrow alley difficult to find. To access the room you need to go up a very steep set of stairs. If you carry heavy luggage, please be careful. You may go back to your country without teeth or with a broken leg. The morning of the check out, the owner asked me for the key before my check out time… didn’t understand why. She said she would be in the building… ok but what if I want to leave and come back, do I leave the room open with my stuff inside? Not really cool. Also the toilet is not within the room. The price… for what it was I think is expensive but hey you are in the city.

• David (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, clean and spacious room. It was a little difficult to find, but the owner contacted me and came to pick me up on Bùi Viện Street. Nothing to really complain about, although I have to mention that the staircase is really steep even a bit dangerous, especially when you are carrying large luggage.

• Charlotte (7/5): It was convenient and you are out all day, all you need is access to a bathroom and clean comfortable bed. This will do. - Great location during the day, so easy access (walking) to the main sites, and cute because the place is down the cute laneways that are quite unique to Vietnam, and in particular Ho Chi Minh City. At night, walking street becomes night club centre which is super loud - however once in the property you can’t hear the pumping loud music. It could just do with being reordered and cleaner. If you wanted to hang up clothes, it is hard to access the wardrobe. The shelving was dirty. Water was not fresh bottled water and we think boiled kettle water. TV didn’t work.

• Vera (8/5): Cute Homestay - Sweet room and nice staff. The homestay is located in a very narrow street which was a bit hard to find but such a nice neighborhood to stay in. Good location. Hygenic products like shampoo, toothbrushes etc. were provided. So was a small fridge. Unfortunately the room smelled a bit moist and modly even though the room had a big window and even a balcony. But for a short stay it wasn‘t a big problem.
• Karen (6/5): Ok if travelling on a budget and you want to be close to - The location is great, just metres away from Bui Vien Walking Street but tucked down a little side alley so it was very quiet. The lady who greeted us was very sweet. Very steep and narrow stairs which are difficult to climb. The bathroom is private but is across the landing from the room. The mattress is thin and very hard.
